I've be using ShiftMed for a month now, and I can't complain. Though, the are I live in only has availability at one facility, I could still travel an hour away and make great money. When I had trouble clocking in to an assignment, ShiftMed answered my phone call, and helped me with the issue quickly. I love the NextDay pay option also. It helps out a ton. I love the freedom and flexibility ShiftMed offers, and overall the experience has been great! Anyone that's looking for PRN should sign up!

Uninstalled this app due to my filters are automatically set not allowing me to see any other lower credentialed available shifts. As a RN, I am able to work as LPN shifts for extra money. The pay was the same or a few dollars different not substantially. However, I was told there was an app update to allow my previous view of all shifts. That's not the case as the last update I'm seeing is from March & this automatically locked RN filter just occurred with very limited shifts. No longer using.

I am an older person that is new to all this online, paperless on boarding. I got as far as the payroll section. They want my checking route numbers and all this. I try to go back and use the debit option, as checking option will not take the numbers so I can't go back nor can I proceed forward. Been in the field 27 years, this is infuriating. I hate this new paperless way of doing business and feel it is a form of age discrimination.

Just went over my one year mark and I've never had issues, besides facilities cancelling all the time. Like an everyday issue. No type of reimbursement for last minute cancellations. I even attempted to work a double at a facility and I showed up for the first shift, got sent home for the second because "they didn't need me" then the facility proceeded to tell ShiftMed that I wasn't there at all. Even though YOU HAVE TO USE LOCATION in order to clock in!! Shiftmed then suspended my account. Smh.

Run. ITS NOT WORTH IT. There are other competitor apps that are better. The onboarding process is wayyy to exhausting and long to complete. They also are not up-to-date with their facilities. I haven't even worked a complete shift and I already have a violation??? I report to the shift on time and they tell me they didn't request anyone from ShiftMed and I was told to go home. The supervisor signed me off saying that she is sending me home early. NOW I HAVE A VIOLATION??? RUN RUN AWAY folks

The app is often incorrect, states I worked 4 shifts, & called off 9 x's. Spoke with office when told I couldn't pick up shifts for 6 months. Told they would look into it. No call back.I would like to know what the 9 violations are. I got canceled at 930p for a 11p shift 3 hours away Of course, I canceled next day shift, can't justify driving that distance for 1 shift.( Booked 2)Tried to pick up shifts in other areas & it's near impossible. Travel RN who is often away from home.

Unable to actually work any shifts. Facilities want 4 or more worked shifts in order to claim shifts. I have claimed several shifts and prepared to go, but they have been canceled by facilities shortly before the start of shift. MAKES NO SENSE! This app is a waste of time.

When you try to chat with a live agent, they rarely respond. Of they do, it's 5hrs later or more.

This app has extremely low rates $17 hr y'all crazy if think I'm going to drive 40 to 50 miles for $17 hour terrible this is the worst app ever you can't even book shifts eventhough I finished all of my onboarding what a waste of my time 😑

It has been over a year since I signed up with ShiftMed, and they still haven't verified my CNA certification. I earned my nursing license in that time and have been working for 9 months, still no verification of my original credentials. Useless.

No help when needed, hard to get into orientations, and when you do, you get canceled. I've been in here 7 months and haven't been able to work 1 shift. Nice idea, though.

So 4 months later and I STILL can't get an assignment because now theu are saying I did wrong assessment but it was the one theu assigned me. I'm about to give up. I have NEVER had this much problems with anything!!! And I spent more than 2 hours doing those modules which I camt get paid for till I do orientation but can't do that till I do the skills that I've already done!!!!!!

One of the worst experiences I've had with a company. ever. Its going on 6 weeks of "onboarding" that turns quickly from the efficient checklist to a mystery list of random documents being requested via the chat app and taking full 5-7days before you hear acknowledgement they did anything with it. Then you assume ok literally there's nothing left they could need and surprise!!!! All the potential shifts then disappear and show there is not one shift anywhere because your not verified yet.

The app is amazing but the facilities is a different story. I am on my Second shift and it has been amazing I clam a shift clock in and clock out. And onbordning was very easy and quick. However, the facilities really need help and you will diffantly be working hard. Some places are very questionable. But the pay is good. Mostly on the weekends.

The onboarding process was very smooth. The recruiters and staff have been very helpful and punctual with resolving issues and communication. The facility that I've worked is well organized. This is by far the best nursing agency that I've worked for. Access to assignments have been made very easy through the app. I have no complaints; I am very pleased! Thank you very much, ShiftMed, for the opportunity! You guys rock! And this is genuinely coming from a nurse with 23 year's of experience... 😊

Too many issues with the app. I wish I would have read the reviews before attempting to sign on with them. Been trying for weeks to complete the credential process, so I could get to onboarding. Within the time frame, I was giving three other job offers and still waiting for credentials to be cleared with this place. (Ridiculous) I keep receiving emails stating all my credentials are cleared and I could select shifts. (LIES) A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!

Wish I would have read the reviews before submitting my LIFE story to use their platform. It is VERY uneasy submitting very sensitive documents requested and to see little to no progress. The other reviews are accurate. I had left voice-mail and sent text via app I called early in the am and spoke to someone. Still no progress. I use other platforms and it has always been a breeze to start. Clean background and 10yr experience. Communication and processing makes the company seem untrustworthy.

I love shiftmed! It's flexible and the next day pay is amazing! With the craziness of life and how expensive everything is getting it helps to have high paying shifts, access to your money quicker and they are always nice when I call! 24 access to talk to a REAL person most other apps you can't even get through to anyone other than an automated system. They helped me with on bording, picking up shifts and another question I have had. Amazing app! Made life so much easier!

Terrible customer service!!! The bot tells me I have to call someone to finish onboarding... I have waited on hold for hours with no one answering. I can't do anything about facility requirements, only shiftmed can register me for certain things. Other staffing apps are great and you get someone on the phone very quickly. Still trying to give them a chance but they aren't worth it.
