Have used Shipt for some time, & loved it. Efficient, reliable, no major problems. Customer support excellent. But lately: I made an order for a Tues evening. Every hour, I got an update moving delivery time to the next time slot. For 3 days. Then it was cancelled, and I had to re-order. I'd hoped this was a one-off, but it's happened twice more. Last delivery was timely, but 3 items were wrong, so I had to make another order--& have been waiting 3 days on that one (so far). Ridiculous.

The selections are okay, I definitely like the option of shopping with GFS. The biggest complaint I have is the app itself. It lags too long, Its tank controls on a touchscreen! I click on an item and takes 10-15 seconds each or longer for the next screen to show up. I thought it was my phone so I used a phone security cleaner. It didn't work. If the bugs thats causing the delay can be fixed I would come back to the app no problem, but the lag ruined the first experience for me. 😢

Wonderful service. But in terms of the app, the last few version updates have been extremely laggy. Tap, no response; tap tap; no response. Then all of a sudden it flips out as it catches up. It's almost like the app changed from a regular app to a web app. It needs to be streamlined. Friends using iOS app have also noticed the app slowness since end of last summer or fall.

The shoppers are generally very good and the pricing is reasonable. The app can be frustrating. The search feature and UPC scanner are great when they work. It's frustrating when I can't add an item that I have previously purchased because for some reason the item won't load. And sometimes very common items can't be found. Then you have to add a special request and be initially overcharged until they reconcile the correct amount of the order after the fact.

This app has gotten ridiculous. Not only do they want you to pay $100 for your annual membership, they also upcharge pretty much every product by unreasonable amounts. Also, now you can't set up any kind of pick up or delivery (I've been trying for the last 3 days with no luck). I downloaded Walmart's FREE app and was able to set up a time within 48 hours and my 30 product order was approximately $25 cheaper. I'm DONE with shipt.

I love Shipt and its convenience. However, this app is just awful. It freezes and is not responsive at all sometimes. I have to tap the cart, checkout, and other options multiple times before it will actually allow me to officially choose what I'm tapping on. It's designed nicely and easy to use in terms of user friendliness, but there are so many bugs, it becomes extremely frustrating to use.

The app doesn't work! It takes me 2 days to put in an order. Constantly freezes up. I'll get a couple items in my account, then it freezes up and i have to log out, wait a couple hours, log in, get a couple more items in my cart, locks up, etc etc.... I have used it once. And once i actually completed my order, somebody showed up on time with my grocieries. Now, i have been filling my cart, over the last couple days, with same damn thing. The app sucks! The person who arrives on time is great.

App functionality is great, the user interface is just fine, and I was given ample warning when my order was going to be late. My issue is with their billing department - I made a single purchase for a total of $77.77 and was billed 3 times for 77.77. I contacted Shipt Customer Service with the issue and screenshots of my bank account, they said they'd handle it but only refunded me once. So in the end I'm out nearly 80 dollars extra. No thanks, I'll stick with Instacart.

I've had very few issues with the app in the two or so years I've been using it. However, the decision to switch to in-app messaging only is completely baffling. I miss messages and notifications all the time, the layout of the message panel itself doesn't adjust for my keyboard, and it's genuinely a much worse experience as a whole. I've definitely avoided using the app on occasion since this update and it's one more (albeit relatively small) reason I'm considering ending my subscription.

Decent, would probably use more if they didn't mark up the price on literally everything 🙄 so you're paying more per item (no matter what it is) and paying for delivery and giving a tip. Definitely saves more money to just do store curbside pickup. Some people won't mind the 1-2$ upcharge on each item, but as my husband is out of work because our son has covid, that extra upcharge Definitely breaks us. And every time we've used it we've been charged for things we never even got.

I've found it to be very convenient at times. Shopping on the app though can be very time consuming, items are presented in a very disorganized way. The groups of items help, but after you get there, it's a mess. The app again. I wish when something is sold out it would stay on the list so I can remember to order it later. As it is now, it just disappears.

This is a great service! I was visiting from out of state & ended up getting sick & needed cold medicine. It was great to be able to place an order & have it delivered. I used the service several times, it was very easy & convenient. I was frustrated that it seemed like half the things I wanted were always out of stock. What Shipt has and what Target sells is not the same. Target has way more than what Shipt offers. That's very frustrating to me as a consumer.

This app works really well for me so far after quite a few months. Works right. Billing works well. Sometimes shopping on it is kinda slow and sluggish, sometimes it's fast, but it always functions. I've only had two bad experiences with shoppers/delivery and I like the ability to adjust the tip down for bad service. Not the app's fault, it's just that some young shoppers have no intelligence, attention to detail, and expect a payday for bad service, it never pays to reward bad behavior.

There are only two shoppers here: The great ones and the worst ones! No middle points, I have experienced a little bit of everything, from súper dirty and horrible products, to a GREAT and exceptional order, following the instructions. I would recommend this app if you have few things you want to order and it is not a "have to" go to the store.

App locks up and freezes constantly. It's impossible to complete one shopping "trip" in less than 30 minutes with this app, it glitches out, freezes, and sometimes force quits. Forget trying to load other stores to compare prices, that takes forever. I always end up using the website instead, even though there's less functionality there and it's dated in its features. Love Shipt, it's a lifesaver for disabled folx, but get your Shipt together, Shipt!

Shoppers and prices are great. Inventory often out of date. The service is exceptional, and overall a better value than the carrot-based service that I also use. Unfortunately, things that are shown as in stock are often not, and vice versa, which makes me have to do a "cleanup shopping" to get the missing items with the carrot-based service. The app is mostly good, but the Target app has more items in stock and will allow the delivery of some items that don't even show up on Shipt.

While this app is incredibly convenient, in my experience, over 50% of the time my shopper gets something wrong. Missing item, wrong item, etc. Errors in your order are very common. Also, after using the app for nearly two years I can count on my hand how many times I made an order and something wasn't out of stock. You'd think that the listing on the app/website would accurately correspond to what is actually available in the store, but that's not the case.

Shipt the service is great! But this app is pretty terrible. It constantly signs me out, then refuses to let me sign back in. I enter my user/pass, then it just goes back to the sign in screen. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. This seems like it should be a priority to recognize because customers literally cannot use the app.

I left a two-star review 4 years ago saying it's a great service but the app is horrible. Still true. Typing things in the app feels like wading through molasses, and the search frequently fails to find things I *KNOW* the store has in stock. It takes longer to enter my shopping list into the app than it would to just go to the store and shop for myself, and it makes me tempted to stop using the service. PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!

The app used to be pretty good, far from perfect, but good. Now this app runs so slowly and stalls constantly to the point that it is completely unusable. It keeps getting worse as far as how slowly it runs and has passed the point where there is no way that I can do anything with it. I contacted support nearly a month ago without a single response.
