Name of the caller, whose number is not registered in phone, is not shown like it used to be shown earlier by True Caller. This is a third grade app which does not perform the way it is supposed to be. What is the use of having a caller ID which shows only the names that are registered in phone. Even without your app sich names would have showed automatically. I regret downloading it. Shall inform others about the ineffectiveness of the app.

It only took two days for this app to turn off my phone dialer app, messaging app, and contact list, where they wouldn't open anymore. No dialer means that I can't dial or receive calls. No messaging app means no messages in or out. No contacts list means I can;t call anyone from it. This is the third call blocker app to change my phone settings the same way. After a bit of googling, I found a couple of comments hinting that android 5.1 doesn't work well with call blocking apps; so I guess I'll just have to put up with the 10 to 15 robocalls that I receive daily, until I can upgrade my phone to android 6 or above.

I didn't get a phone call while I was trying it out, but I can say that I agree with the battery drain problem. My Moto G7 Power was charging at a snail's pace even with the Motorola charger. Also, some apps were taking a long time to load, probably because this app was hogging all the resources. On the plus side, I do like all the options.

Installed yesterday morning. I immediately noticed anomalies in my device, such as unexplained screen dimming and EXCESSIVE battery consumption. Had to charge my Note 8 four times! I disabled the app last night to see if that was actually the cause. Almost immediately I began getting pop-up ads in other applications like gmail, Twitter, etc. I'm uninstalling this morning, then running bitdefender to make sure my phone is clean. As good as the concept is, I'd recommend you stay away from this app

One HUGE problem. The "startup screen" or whatever you call the very first screen when you open the app takes WAY TOO LONG. This is absolutely unacceptable if I'm in a hurry to make a call. There shouldn't need to be an intro/welcome screen that lasts for 5 seconds or more. How do I fix this? Otherwise I need to drop rating to 1 star and delete the app! EDIT: It took even LONGER after I typed this! EIGHT SECONDS staring at the intro screen when I tried to open app to make a call! I dropped rating to 1 star; wish I could leave ZERO stars. Uninstalled!!! Thanks for wasting my time, in more ways than one.

Two reasons why I deleted the app right after just 2 weeks- 1. Every time you open the app there's a loading screen and also whenever you rotate the app horizontally, which is super annoying. 2. During call if you decide to open another app, there is no way going back to cut the call.

Tried to get rid of the post call screen, but there are no options for it. Sent an email to the company and they never told me how to do it either, or if it's even possible, poor service. Also it will always show missed calls, so you have show caller showing missed calls and Android as well, totally unnecessary and there is no option to get rid of it.

I've been using the free version of this app for a while now. It works quite well at detecting spam callers. I think I may upgrade to the paid version. The price is very good per year. It will cost you very little to protect your phone.Certainly, it will help block spam calls. I would highly recommend this app for anyone with a senior parent or child who has a cell phone. You can set it to only accept calls from their contact list.

it's a very good helpful app to identify caller name and location

Works decently. A bit expensive for the premium version. No option to save the call recordings to SD card. Besides that, there's a lot that makes this app nice. Like being able to set a video as the ring tone. And being able to customize the ring tones per contact, even on the free version... that's nice. But still though, this app is a bit much on the price so I'd rather uninstall, but that's just my budget concerns.

finally a good alternative for Truecaller frustrated with the ads on Truecaller. but I have some suggestions to make your app ever better in the search bar there is only option to search by number and not by name it should be there as no one remembers numbers nowadays. And second there should be a option to connect with WhatsApp dm to the abc person and not whatsapp call.

It is a good app but it doesn't display incoming calls as true caller so you had to open the number and dial it then it will show who was calling you overall it is good but not best as true caller

"The 'Show Caller APK' application was good, however: It doesn't have speed dial. There are too many ads. In the contacts, it doesn't show both name and number; only the name is visible, and the number appears only when you tap on the name. It should have had more dialer keyboard style options (e.g., call record, speaker, contact, etc.). Thank you."

App is a good idea, but there are issues. It disconnects my bluetooth for some reason. And then it doesnt always block the calls that ive placed on my block list. Ive also have other calls disconnected when an incoming call comes in, even if i decline the incoming call. Have had that happen multiple times now. And ive just had calls simply disconnected, as well as calls not connecting when trying to dial out, or taking 30+ secs to dial out. Think im going to uninstall this app. I tried it.

I had this app installed and relied on it for months i think. Not because it was able to do its job well, but also because it had a record feature. At least it did had one until an update came up and I guess it was removed for being useless or something. I honestly loved that record feature because not only did it consider to be useful tool in conversation with some random stranger, but also help me replay the records if I forget something important. Overall this app is still going strong as usual, but without the record feature, I may have to find another app that can do that as well as block calls and identify id callers. Anyway, thanks for making this app! I hope everyone else would be interest to try this as well.

It looks good. It does have a subscription ($13/year or $2/month) which, while I don't like, it's at least a lot lower than many other dialer/blocker subscription plans. Unfortunately, when it looked at the last numbers that called, it didn't recognize a lot of them as spam (which is the reason I am looking for a new dialer/blocker from my old one - it also doesn't have a lot of the spam numbers). Therefore, I am going to have to give this one a miss.

No good. As soon as I installed Showcaller, my Contact List which is comprehensive, switched in alphabetical order from surname to the first name, making the contact list useless. I was able to find no way to restore the contact list back in alphabetical order by surname. Furthermore, it wanted me to turn off my battery saving software. My phone is indispensable to me and has to be fully useful, something that Showcaller apparently does not understand.

No benefit anymore! It provides the phone number (but no name) of the caller. Wow! Just like everybody else. I cannot stop the annoying useless popups at the beginning and end of every call that only provide redundant data. This program has recently begun misidentifying unknown numbers as known numbers. The program needs a serious overhual or just let it swirl the drain.
