The best ledger app, in my experience. It handles every day transactions wonderfully. You can also set it to reflect auto bill pays, transfers from checking to credit cards, gift cards, etc. What the small icons represented wasn't obvious first, but play with the buttons and you'll get it. I check it against my checking account and it's never been off by more than a few pennies, and that may have been my fault. Very glad I got this.

Pretty decent checkbook app. I wish it showed cleared and uncleared balance totals. But you can keep multiple accounts for free, recurring transactions and transfers are easy to set up. It can be backed up, but you have to do it manually and save it in an external drive and then download to sync across devices.

Perfect for consumers. Has a running balance, just like an online bank account. Automatically turns yellow when balance goes negative! Ads aren't intrusive. Allows manual backup to my phone memory. I haven't figured out recurring transactions yet, but there's an option for those.

I have an issue that when I make a deposit on a certain day no matter if I entered in first then entered debt the despite shows up last. Why? Why does it not stay in the order I enter and transaction. Don't really care for the layout. When scrolling the top of the screen I feel should lock in place. I would like to check a check box for an item that has clear rather then just tapping the transaction and it change color.

Absolutely love this app! It is a basic, simple, checkbook ledger that is not over designed and over populated with a ton of confusing options. It's straight forward platform makes it easy to navigate, easy to enter information, & easy to keep track of what is coming & going in your accounts. Keep up the good work team! Decent app for checkbooks. Can set larger font for easier readability, multiple accounts, easy to use. Still like the app but it's there a way to delete or edit the auto entry in the name field? Some that were used once on vacation would be nice to get rid of...... Edit to say I'm still waiting for the ability to delete entries I'm only going to use one time.

I have the paid version of this & am usually happy with the simplicity of the app. However, I've noticed that the balance carried over each month is consistently off by one cent & this varies whether that is more or less than the actual balance. You can see the difference with the previous month's end balance differing from the next month's starting balance.

I had what I can only assume is the previous version of this app. This one is definitely new and improved. The only complaint I have is that you cannot save your entry descriptions. So you have to type out "gas," every time you get gas, or "groceries" every time you get groceries. Kind of a pain in the neck but overall, can't really complain. This app is what it's meant to be, a simple useful tool to keep track of bank, credit card and loan balances.

I love this app and how easy it is to use! I used to go thru so many ledgers, so I'm a big fan of saving paper by using this app! One annoying thing is that ads keep popping up even tho I paid for the ad-free subscription, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I could have saved a few bucks if I'm being forced to watch the ads anyway. Otherwise, I highly recommend this app!

Simple easy to use. Simple exporting to Excel for your PC. Only shows you a quick ad maybe once a week no banners. Tried allot apps they all had too many pay walls or ad banners and always trying to give too much info. This app is perfect a simple ledger can have multiple accounts make notes on transactions takes very little storage love it.

UPDATE: Super annoyed with this app right now. If you delete an account, it will change your other accounts by thousands of dollars because of the transactions you had between them. So dumb. I love this app! It's so simple. Never off by a penny like some of thise other dumb apps. Great functions for credit cards and transfers!

I like most things about this app. Some suggestions: 1) The number input needs to be like a number pad on a keyboard or have an option to switch between them. I am constantly typing the wrong number as I am so used to a keyboards number pad. 2) This is important when first setting up your accounts, when you are on a particular month the date should be for that month that way all you have to do it select a date and not also find the month. 3) A title/watermark in each input box at the bottom.

Love this app. Very straight forward and easy to use. Cant keep up with my paper check book, so this has been a life saver. So much more convenient. You can keep track of all your checking account and savings accounts balances and purchases, credit card accounts. Definitely helps me manage my money better and keep track of all my purchases. Would definitely recommend this, especially if someone has a hard time keeping up with a paper checkbook or just finds a normal check book confusing.

This is a great app that takes the balance sheet of a checkbook and blends it with the convenience of having it accessible in my pocket. I have had no issue with this app keeping the correct balances of my accounts like others have mentioned and have found any discrepancies to be errors on my part only. In addition, the developer was prompt in both their response to complaints as well as releasing a fix to address those complaints.

Good to use to enter in manually every month, privacy protected, & just like using a paper ledger only easier as a phone app, on & offline. However, I have a new, G6, Android phone, 4G signal. Best to upload screenshots of ur ledger to Google Docs. Adds pop up but, not very often now. This app doesn't respond when I choose "back up to SD card." I attempted using the "back up to drop box" option & shows up as "Free Checkbook Ledger" but, nothing to show in the file. Need alternate option

It is nice and simple - exactly what I need. But.... the backup and restore functionality doesn't work. I tried backing up and restoring from both Dropbox and the SD card (I was switching phones and didn't want to re-enter all the data again. Trying to do it via Dropbox gives me a version error and can't write to it. When I try to restore from the SD card, the app stops - repeatedly. Also, at the end of the month the balance doesn't transfer correctly to the next month. A penny or 2 off.

I would have given this app 5 stars. But it's missing a really fundamental feature of a budget app. The ability to correct a balance. If I've made an error in my ledger I cannot go back and change the amount. The only thing I can do is add another transaction in the ledger. Which hasn't been helpful for me.

Great simple app. It has made an error in balance totals, but not often and was easily noticed when comparing against the bank register Only con is the FREQUENT full screen ad that has sound and until the timer runs out, you cannot silence or stop the ad. Very obtrusive and be careful when using in a quiet environment. There is a better way to use ads, and this is not it. Since this was posted, a new error between the account list total and the register total has materialized.

It used to be accurate and efficient. They seem to focus on adding more ads, than fixing its accuracy. It added $ to my monthly starting balance, for no reason, which gave me an incorrect account balance. It took me half an hour to figure out that the issue wasn't with my data entry. It has now added to my balance randomly at least 3 times. I'm shopping for an accurate replacement app now.

The ledger will not load when an ad appears. I have to back out of the app multiple times to get the ledger to load. I even paid to have the ads removed and nothing was done. I emailed the company to either have them fix the issue or provide a refund and there was no response. Do not waste your money going ad free.
