Loved the app for years but... Edit: I have the Pro app version. In fact, I've bought it 3 times. My complaint was that when I've upgraded phones, it wasn't showing that I had the paid version in the play store and I've had to re-purchase it. I did finally get it to download the pro version again after I left my first review but it took a couple days. Don't know what the problem was, all my other paid apps transferred without a problem. It's working now and I changed the rating.

App works great, NO ADS! Does everything I want and need. Only problem I have discovered is when I used a thumb drive hooked into the usb port, using the phone's file app (LG G8 ThinQ), it listed both sets of files. However when I ejected the thumb drive no matter what I did it still listed both sets of files just the thumb drive albums were blank. The only way to get them to go away was to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Overall great experience. Two suggestions: 1. Could you add an option for slideshow to only show horizontal or vertical images (according to the width/length ratio)? It allows for better use of the rectangular screen. 2. Could you allow for slideshow of photos from multiple folders? Update 09/2023: I found that the app can now properly do slideshow in split screen mode. Not sure if it is due to the app or system update. This is a great improvement.

A very simple gallery app but nonetheless feature rich and completely customizable. Respects your device by not loading it with annoying ads or asking for unnecessary and/or sketchy permissions. Now with a Pro version to help generate some revenue for the developer which is well worth the ultimate purchase price. Whether you go with the Pro version (supported) or the Free version (not really supported) you can't go wrong here...

Excellent gallery app with one problem: a key feature was broken in the most recent update. Claiming "As of Android 11, files can not longer be hidden and currently hidden files will need an external app to be viewed." However, I've been using this app on Android 12 since late March and the hidden files feature had worked fine. Rolling back to an older version even allowed me to hide and unhide files again. Instead of blaming the Android OS, just admit you broke the feature and you can't fix it

***Edit: That's unfortunate. I really hope you reconsider this design because it logically makes no sense if parts of the photo go out of frame preventing you from seeing it as you adjust the cropping square.***Original: I just upgraded to Pro and noticed one possible bug or design flaw: when you're cropping a photo with the editor, and as you drag the square to adjust the size, the entire photo moves as well if the square touches any edge. This makes it difficult and inconvenient because parts of the photo on where you're dragging goes out of frame. The photo should not be moving at all when you are adjusting the cropping square. I hope this wasn't an intended feature because it wasn't present in the non-Pro version and I have never seen any other app that did this. I don't think this is a user-friendly design. Other than that, great app.

This app has worked very well for me up until recently, it won't lete rename folders anymore, for example when I press to rename a file/folder it'll pop up my keyboard and the keyboard will either not go away even after I'm done typing or it won't pop up when I'm trying to rename it. It's rather annoying since I use an animation app and want to make it after the app it's from rather than have the folder tilted "Pictures"

Used this app for YEARS but recently it has been absolute trash. From pictures disappearing, folders only showing up when your hidden files are showing even when the folder isn't hidden, or trying to move files or do any action at all really and it just.. not do anything.. except when It looks like it hasn't done anything, nothing has changed or moved but you find out from another gallery app that all those photos are actually in the garbage ready to be deleted. Almost lost YEARS of photos 😤

Update 4/21/24: After the Sept 2023 app update the ability to create nested folders on my laptop then carry them over to the app disappeared. Now all photos within what used be sub folders I made on my laptop appear in the main folder in one giant group of photos as if all in one folder. So, cluttered and harder to locate photos. Email help doesn't work. Went from 5star app to less than 2 star. Looking for a better one.

Great pictures management/editing tool, it even handles large volumes of pictures (I'm talking in the half a million pics range) Upgrade suggestions: (1) a progress bar for longer tasks, that way a user knows the app didn't crash (2) an UNDO-button that reverses last command (3) allow ALL commands to be able to choose/move to bottom screen as action buttons in full screen displays, not just behind the context menu. (i.e. move/copy/rename/etc.) (4)allow to execute commands as background tasks? 👌

I had the free version of gallery for some time and loved it. Got the pro version and there's definitely value to it, unfortunately there's one major bug. Cropping images hangs up on the export and never finishes.. New Pixel 8, upgraded from Pixel 2XL (it lasted a while!) and the app is problematic. On the old phone the free version crop still worked, don't even have the free version on the new device so I'm kinda stuck.

I've been using this app for a few years now and it's been great. But in a recent update over the past few weeks, something has happened to cause an issue. When I open the app, there is no touch response when tapping on the thumbnails until I scroll down or just keep tapping the screen. I have no touch issues on my phone in any other app or anywhere else on my phone (Pixel 8 Pro). Oh, and when sending an email to support within the app, the support email doesn't exist, so that's helpful.

easy to use. quickly allows you to view and organize your media with move and delete features. I especially like how you can change the sort for individual folders without changing the defaults. Update: they added a pro version and locked the free version after a trial period. Forcing someone to upgrade is not the way to do business. If your pro version is so much better, people will want to use it. I've never had to update the free app and I've had it for 4 years. I'll just use the galaxy one.

The best third party gallery app I've used and absolutely worth the money. I like how easy it is to move files from one folder to another, make basic edits, and rename things all in one place. I also really like that when you delete something from within the app, it gives the option to "skip the recycle bin and permanently delete" which is really handy while trying to free up space on your phone. Zero complaints.

Doesn't work so well anymore. Galaxy Note 8, which Verizon doesn't support anymore. Getting a new phone. We'll see if it works better on the new phone. Meanwhile, it won't move pictures around anymore. Plenty of room on the SD card. This is one of only a few apps I have bought. Reading the reviews I notice other complaints, including that it looks like the developer has abscounded. I also get white images. I have depended on this app for years, and it has performed well. Until now.

This Gallery app is super good! Does almost everything I need it to do compared to Google Photos, with extra organization options, it almost perfect! My only complaint is that the sticker feature seems to have some problems, because it crashes whenever I try to select a photo to use as a custom sticker, which is inconvenient when trying to do some silly edits

I love this app, but lately i've noticed how many bugs there are. When editing or deleting files, the file browsing gets out of sync and certain UI controls tend to disappear or not work until you back out and enter the folder again. No updates for 6 months. For a paid app, I'd expect more bug fixing! I'd be happy to describe the bugs on request

This. This app is what I've been looking for to replace Quickpic (which became unspeakably bad). It's fast, It lets me organize my photos by folders/subjects and not by timeline, it lets me easily move photos from one place to another, it has a simple editing interface that's still plenty powerful for what I want to do. Excellent app!

Buggy AF on new phone Just upgraded to a pixel 8a from a 4a. Been using this app for years and been super happy with it. Now, I guess the company running it went bankrupt or something? It won't save my edits anymore, just gets stuck on the "exporting 0%" screen of death. Tried emailing app support but the email address no longer exists. Guess that's what I get for actually buying an app instead of being happy with a free one.

I've been using this app for quite awhile now, and it's always been my go-to for every phone I get. Lately though, it's not been saving pictures or videos anymore all of the sudden. Instead it saves a blank white image and will not play the blank videos it saved. My app doesn't need to be updated, the storage is not full, I've cleared the cache, nothing will work. I've even tried emailing, and got back a response saying the email doesn't work anymore. Running out of options as to what to do ðŸ˜
