Works so much better than other radio apps! Like the title, it's a simple pain free radio! 10/26/20 update: I paid to remove ads, and I no longer have pop up ads from the app, but I've noticed a lot of the stations I listen to have a long stream of aired ads now. Idk if it's this app or the station itself, but 10 minutes of nonstop streamed ads are unacceptable.

It's great to be able to surf stations around the globe, but a lot of them aren't actively broadcasting, and the video ad popups required EVERY SINGLE TIME a station is changed really is annoying - so much so that the app becomes unusable for surfing stations. Sometimes, the ads go into an endless loop, where users are forced to watch the ad, then click play, and watch the same ad over again and again. Plus - InfoWars? Really? That lying seditionist platform really need to be taken down.

It cuts out if I set the phone down. It's like it times out the connection if I'm not actively using the phone - then it randomly starts back up. In response to the canned "send a screenshot" reply: Send a screenshot of what exactly? You want a picture of my audio not working? Yeah, you can totally see that in a screenshot. How about an error log? Sure! Oh wait, that's not a thing. It worked fine during the NFL regular season and now it's broken. EDIT: Kind words? Right track? Did you read?

I have found this app very satisfying and useful. For instance, I need it sometimes to tune in my favorite college football games, the World Series and Nascar races that I can not get on my car/truck radio. Life saver for this! Also I have found this app useful to listen to old radio shows like Gunsmoke, Dragnet, Johnny Dollar, Box 13, Suspense and several others. It may not be perfect but it has provided me with a lot of pleasurable listening.

Nice and simple. I was using TuneIn radio but it kept locking up and the ads were awful. I can get most of the stations I was listening to on this app. My only gripe is the full screen add that pop up but I usually lock the screen, especially when driving so they are not a nuisance. I have an old Phone in the bedroom tied into the wifi and have let the app run for days.

This app is awful. It always starts with a commercial. Once it is midway through the commercial, it restarts. I have literally listened to the app do this repeatedly for 10 minutes straight before. I can only ever get the app to work after restarting several times, and even then there is no guarantee. I do not recommend wasting any time with this app. I would give it less than 1 star if i could. It is that bad.

I cannot keep up with all of these ads! They are always jumping in the way if you want to change channels or do anything. Even just starting up, you have to race to beat the ads, and often I accidentally missed the x so I can delete the ad, and I end up wasting data as my phone tries to download that app and wasting me more time and data very frustrating app! HOW could it have gotten a 4 star rating???? Someone is doing something unscrupulous or messing with the algorithms or something. This c

It's nice to listen to your favorite radio station during a train commute so I appreciate the app. My issue with this app is that when it loses Internet connection it doesn't try to reconnect most times. I have to pause the app and restart it manually almost every time, then it works. Unfunny enough, the commercials never fail. Couldn't anyone make an app that automatically and persistently tries to reconnect to the Internet when it loses connection all by itself?

Way too many issues. Gets stuck on one station, can't change to another station in my favorites. Shuts down for no reason. Locks up, way too many advertisements. When an advertisement comes on the radio turns off. If these issues were fixed it would be a nice little radio. I like the radio but not the problems. I'm using a moto E4 cell phone.

The simplest, cleanest, fastest, lightest, best online radio app out there. I can find almost all my favorite radio stations (many of them hard or impossible to find with other radio apps) Only thing it needs to be 100% perfect is the option to add manually radio stations. There are a few station that I have to listen on another app because I can't find them here, and having the option to add those stations via the links would be awesome.

Constantly stops, reloads which triggers ads, and repeatedly does the same even while something is playing. Really tired of this, so uninstalling and find one that won't constantly reload. Ads wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for reloading every 15 seconds or so. This happens with every station changed to. If you would like to help to resolve the problem, please provide an email address. If successful, I'll change the comment and add some stars.

Probably one of the best free radio apps I've used. Hardly any ads, and the ones that do play can be immediately closed or closed after a couple seconds, plenty of radio stations to chose from across the world for whatever genre tickles your fancy, and works with the bare minimum data connection. If the little ads that do appear bother you THAT much, premium is pretty cheap, about 20 dollars USD a year. Highly recommend.

A year ago, I loved this app. Then it started to come on automatically whenever I was in the car, even when the app wasn't open. When I turn it off to use another music app, after about 20 seconds it cancels out my other app and takes over. I haven't found a way to change the settings to stop this. An app shouldn't have that kind of control--as if I don't know which music I prefer. In regard to your response to look at this, there are no screen shots available, even if I were to re-create this.

I generally enjoy this app, but as of late, it has been shutting down for whatever reason. Each time it does that, I lose my favorite stations that I've set, so I have to go through the process of locating my stations each time! It's annoying! Yes, I do check the app for possible updates in Google Play (most recent one was on 12/22/2023), but I should not have to go through this hassle of this app shutting down and looking for my favorites each time!!!!

Jesus. Instant uninstall. It took a while to get out of this trap. I started the app, selected a station. As the radio stream started, a full-page ad popped up. It hid the navigation buttons. I touched the screen trying to get back control, and IT INSTALLED ANOTHER APP! The new app ran more ads. It's a Briar Patch.

Update: popup ads are back to being "x out-able". Good job demos. Older post Usually better than average. But lately the ads on the free version pop-up (as they do!)...aaaaaaaand then.....there's no way to "x them out". What gives, streema/ simple radio?? My rating will improve when the ads aren't so irritating and pervasive.

Like it says. A very simple radio interface. No complications, junk, etc. If all you want to do, is use an app to listen to radio channels, this is it. Just search for the type of radio you want. I like OLD TIME RADIO shows, and there are numerous channels to pick from. Can find different decades of music. Update: when will the ADD URL feature be enabled. It's been awhile

Works well. Lots of stations to choose from. Best radio app I've found- simple, sleek, low memory use. Edit February 2024. Obviously the developers don't fix issues. I still have to force stop the app to get it to drop off the notification bar. Otherwise it just sits there in my way, even stopped or paused. I still use the app because it's the best radio app I've tried, however this bug is really frustrating and I posted about it this time last year too.

Did not have the local radio station I wished to listen to, and there is no way to cancel the subscription within the app. No settings, no interface, just "search" and "favorites". Yes, extremely basic (simple), but it seems very "scammy" to me that you would offer a paid subscription upon downloading the app, then have no means of canceling within.

A great app for Android Auto users. There's only one thing I would change, and that would be having "Favorites" as the default playback option instead of "Previous" when used with Android Auto. Everytime I use the app in the car, I have to go through several screen taps to access my favorites. "Previous" also includes many stations I've checked out but didn't care for, and don't want to have to scroll through each time I use the app.
