To satisfy some of the more demanding users I added a few OPTIONAL features.
For example distance and calories can be turned on and off depending on your needs.
By displaying only the essential information in an elegant design, your notification bar stays clutter-free.
Special focus was given to keeping this pedometer lightweight and thus consume as little battery as possible. 🔋
● It might be the most power efficient pedometer on the store. Of course, it uses your phones build-in sensor and unlike many other step counters it just doesn't do anything else in the background.
● Track your activity of the last week, month or all time and get a graphical overview.
● Set a daily step goal.
● The app can approximate your walked distance and burned calories.
● If you want, it can count cookies too. 🍪
● Highly configurable notification and widgets.

Just installed. NOT happy. It runs in foreground. NO option in app settings to disable this feature. And: Permissions: NO permissions denied. This means I have no control over the app. Will keep it a few days to see if developer replies or gives us access to make our own decisions. I need this app to have permissions to do things ONLY when I open the app & not in background. This is especially important while traveling because some apps spookily get Internet/data acces even if data/wifi is off!

Updated app and it broke the widget, had to reinstall losing 2 months of data and pay for premium again. Do not recommend.

Found this via a Google search for a minimalist, no frills, non obtrusive step counter cos that is all I want. Something that doesn't take up any space and just tells me how many steps I've walked. One question. Instead of moving up in single step increments, it goes up in 10s. Any reason for that? It's not the end of the world but that's my preference .

its a step/calorie/distance counter. It tells you all of these things without any extra bloat or ads. Love this app and how simple and straightforward it is.

I like the no fuss simple step counter but unfortunately the language keeps changing to German mysteriously. I haven't done anything to the app, it just appears. Strange. My default language is English

This is my favorite step counter app of all the ones I've tried. I've used it for years now, and the latest update is only an improvement that doesn't feel like bloat or oversimplification. Quality work.

Good and simple app. The widget stopped working (showed nothing) on the latest Android 16 but resetting it's colors fixed it. Update: It worked fine before the Android update. After that I did not see the widget because I use None background. Then I checked Text color and I could not change it with the slider, it kept be white. Luckily the reset button fixed it.
