sound quality is better than the other music streaming apps and the programming has gotten better. The one draw back i find is it drops the sound every now and then doesn't start itself going again. I contacted customer service about this and they said my wifi connection was to blame, but the other streaming apps don't have this issue... I come and go but always happy with sound quality after being gone... After leaving the review above and the response below, I tried what it recommends

With the latest update, my app has stopped opening on my TV. I never had this issue prior. I've uninstalled the app, reinstalled and it'll open up then. But once I return on another day to open it, I get the same thing; just the logo. It won't go beyond that screen. Also, my screen goes dark while the song is playing as though the app has lost connection. If I press a button to awaken the screen, it never takes me back to the app, it acts as though I logged out. Again, wasn't an issue before.

Ever since they updated the appitll crash every time your audio output switches completely losing your spot in whatever you were listening too. This app is shockingly worse than before. Only using this to listen to the Jim and Sam show. App is constantly crashing for no reason. Sirius doesn't allow them to record anymore so they no longer post new video clips . I'd uninstall if it weren't for Jim and Sam cause this app is garbage.

HATE THE NEW FORMAT!!! Before the update, I could EASILY find what I was looking for without issue. I could type in the number and boom. Or I could just swipe. Now...it gives suggestions and stays within that category. So if I'm listening to news but want to find a country station, I have to type a key word...while driving, then search through the channels given. It absolutely sucks and is more dangerous for drivers.

New app is a broken mess. Idk if its just me, but the app is as reliable as an overcooked noodle in a sword fight. BEST case scenario, the app will let you listen to a couple songs before it stops for seemingly no reason as wifi and 5g are both strong. But now, the past 2 times iv used the app, it will completely bug out my s23 ultra. Like touch screen doesnt work or anything. Requiring me to force restart it. Interface is nice though... def had 90% of the work put into looks over function.

App is OK, but music stops too often. Lately it's been after 1 or 2 songs. Updated the app and hoping it works better. UPDATED: hard to believe the app got worse with the Dec 23 launch. Music stops regularly, it doesn't release my license so it interrupts online streaming, pausing results in the app crashing. As a longtime subscriber, it is time to look at other services. The variety of music is so narrow, there isn't much reason to keep paying.

Agree with all the other reviews. Can't reorder library. No restart show. If you move the slider to the beginning, you can't see the segments so you can jump to where you want. Sports events no longer show the score. I want the previous version back. This one isn't better just different and not in a good way. Latest update: I start it up and it flickers until I select library. You try to move between screens and it flickers. Previous version did not do this. Newest version still flickers.

Revise my rating from a four to two after using the new app for a while. I can't explain how bad it is in 500 characters, but let's focus on: I can almost never get an on-demand episode to work, figuring out what's downloadable is nearly impossible, and rarely can play for more than 20 minutes without it stopping for no reason. I suspect this has to do with a poorly implemented "one device at a time" restriction, but that's a guess as I have a phone, 2 Chromecasts, and 2 fire TVs.

The new app is trash. For a couple months now I have had the same issue pop up. I repeatedly have a new song begin 15 seconds before the old one is over, and get a frustrating overlap of sounds. This only occurs on "extra" channels like Indie 1.0 and Lithium Deep Cuts. Absolutely no response from my multiple submitted feedback attempts. Every day I ask myself why I stick with this company. Spotify, here I come!

This app is now even WORSE. I can't believe it. If you have it connected to Bluetooth and then you disconnect from whatever you're listening on, the audio never comes back on thru the phone speakers OR the Bluetooth, you have to close the app, then open it again, but by then, the app goes straight to live on the channel and you have to find where you left off. DO FIX THE AUDIO DISCONNECT PROBLEM

New App is a mess. Here's an example. Driving and listening to a show for an hour, stop at rest area and get gas, jump back in car and drive off. The NEW app refuses to pick up where I left off, seems to have lost Bluetooth (although phone is still connected) and I find myself having to shut down the app and find where I left off in the show. All, now, while driving and trying to navigate a slick but convoluted graphical interface. This never happened with the old app & Yes, I've reinstalled.

The updated app remains clunky and confusing. The Stern Show segment list used to be listed under the show. Now you have to hit a button to get the list, tough to do when driving. Also, the show doesn't hold its place. Once the app is closed the show restarts. I'm still not clear how to go to a specific channel on the app. This whole December app redesign has been a catastrophe and the "fixes" haven't brought the app back to where it was last Fall.

Messed up. I start an episode and rewind to listen to the whole thing. Later I push pause so I can do something else on my phone for 20 minutes. I expect to start where I paused, not to start the same amount I backed up earlier..... Is that too much to expect? Plus, I miss the restart episode option. I think the previous version was way better.

Good! You've finally replaced everything you took away from the pre-Nov. 2023 app. However, the last update now has an unbelievably annoying pop-up ad that appears when you hit the skip button too many times. I'm skipping commercials because I'm trying to catch up with my show that I paused for a meeting. TELL ME THERE IS A WAY TO DISABLE THAT STUPID "NOT FEELING THE VIBE? TRY THIS" POP UP AD!!! WHY WOULD YOU ADD THIS??? IT IS SO ANNOYING!🤬🤬🤬

Update is all ads and More difficult to navigate in a vehicle. The eliminated the favorites it went to a library. The library is small and hard to navigate while driving. When you open the app it is all ads for new channels and stuff they want you to see instead of your normal playlist. The new format only benefits them and makes the user experience worse.

Update: After using the app for about 6 months, there has been very little improvement. Downloaded shows don't show up in the library in date order. They appear randomly, so you have to search for the next date in sequence in order to find the next show to play in chronological order. Also, the app is sketchy with Bluetooth. Sometimes it says it's connected and starts playing, but no volume. You have to shut the app all the way down and restart to get it to work.

Update 2024. Why mess with something that was working. I listen almost exclusively in my car. The new library has tiny arrow buttons that are tough to hit accurately while driving. The old app had nice big tiles. When you press the tile now it opens the details of the station, but does not play that station. Who would want that? Very close to cancelling.

Great app. Love the features. However, some app stations are so repetitive. I like the RockWall station. Supposed to be every era and every genre, but they play the same 50 or so songs over and over. Should be a much larger, much more varied selection. 8 hours at work and I hear the same songs at least 3 times during that period. With as many rock songs there are, no way this should happen. Dropping it after my trial period.

After a couple of updates, now the mobile app arbitrarily shuts off, mimicking a signal interruption. It also seems to coincide with the 10-minute screen shut-off. Wifi or cellular data doesn't make a difference. When I hit the power button to turn the screen back on, the radio starts again. Or, It comes back on after about 10 min or so without touching the power button.. Walking, in the car, or in the house doesn't matter. It's no fun anymore. Tech support didn't help. I love SiriusXM radio programming, but this app needs work. I use a Samsung phone, and this app constantly shuts off. Over the course of a 3-hour show, I need to restart the app 15-20 times. It's very annoying. Update on 5/28/24. Almost a year later and this app is still terrible. Constantly shuts off. I can barely stream more than 5 minutes at a time before having to restart. I guess they don't care because they have done nothing to fix it. Guess it's time to cancel.
