So far, so good. Android phone uploads are simple. It literally takes 10 seconds. Add text to your image, and that depends on how fast you can type. It was a great gift, I'm not sure about the cloud space subscription because that was and will continue to be a gift each year after. Loading up past pictures from a PC needs work. Love it.

Although expensive, I find that it is worth the investment. It has three specific functions (chores, calendar and lists) and it does each of those things flawlessly! My children always said "I forgot" about chores or appointments. But the skylight has eliminated that problem in our house :) I wish I could record my mom voice telling them to brush their teeth that the skylight would play at the reminder for that chore. (And a coordinating one for everything else).

It's ok, but would be significantly improved if I could "share" directly from Google photos to skylight. Navigating the file system to find photos is not nearly as good of experience, and once they are saved to the cloud I have to either download them to my device or email them to myself. Both are less than convenient

Viewing rotating photos of my loved ones is joy-giving! That part is fantastic! The software itself is sufficient but not very flexible. I set the On/Off times when it was new, and I have tried to change them since then, but it keeps reverting to the originally set times.

Barely functional. Like Chris below I'm also using this on a high end Pixel 7 Pro on a 500Gb very high speed connection. We bought both a $140 Skylight frame and cheaper $60 Frameo and no one's bothering with the Skylight because every picture is taking forever to upload, most hanging and not finishing, AND most features ask for an additional $40 subscription. Frameo handles 10 pictures at once almost instantly from a bad mobile data connection hundreds of miles away and videos, no add'l fees

Extremely useful app to manage and interact with the skylight device. The ability to assign dates, tasks, and link calendar events is wonderful and works very well. Some additional features would be nice and I'm finding more as I use the app/device more heavily. These are mostly "nice to have" versus a complete music feature for use.

There are much better frames out there. The Skylight is insanely expensive for what you can do. The plus membership is also expensive for what you get. If you relinquish ownership to a person, the plus membership does not cover them. You also can't play live photos. Overall there are way better frames for the same price or cheaper.

I recently received the Skylight as a Christmas gift and I couldn't be happier with my gift. This frame has completely transformed how I display and enjoy my favorite memories. The setup was incredibly easy and intuitive, allowing me to start enjoying my photos within minutes. Overall, the Skylight digital frame has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a beautiful, user-friendly, and high-quality product that has added a new level of joy to my home. I highly recommend it.

I have purchased digital photo frames in the past. They were complicated. Skylight was so easy to set up. Adding photos was so simple, I had my pictures uploaded in minutes. I mostly like the shared feature. The link gave access to my children to add photos. I am really enjoying my Skylight! It was a great gift!

Absolute trash. Takes forever to scroll through phone photos. No scroll bar on the edge to go faster. Finally get to pics I want to select. Select up to 50 pics. It only trys to upload a handful and randomly hangs on some. OK maybe it's me. I'll just try a few at a time... same thing. It consistently forgets selections and frequently hangs uploading. This is definitely the app and not my equipment. I'm using this app on Bleeding edge Android on Pixel 7 Pro on WiFi with full bars.

Added 2/26/24 . I have plus. Please allow swiping through photos on the app. Very frustrating to have to go back to the thumbnails! Demerit one star for that. We just bought a frame and we have been adding lots of pics. It's great to be able to have the whole family collaborate and with skylight plus also a way to share pics with everyone on the family. We all wish that we could add pics through the share button on Android. Please add this feature.

We got the 15" frame. It is so useful to have our separate calendars just sync to the app and the calendar meaning we have constant access to see what's going on. Somehow it figures out color coding and is correct most of the time when something new goes through. The built in meal planning button has helped eliminate my having two separate physical calendar. We've also set up a recurring chore to give our autistic non-speaking son his medication so we don't forget or double dose him.

I have ASD. I think in moving pictures and I can't see time, so keeping schedules organized is really hard for me. This thing is wonderful. Appointments for the whole family sync immediately, keeping us from making conflicting appointments. The calendar on the wall lets me aee the whole month at once, so I can glance at it from across the room and know whether I need to look closer.

I love using Skylight. The calendar is very easy to share, update, and edit. It looks way more nice than our old dry erase board. However, I would love if they would make it so you could track whether or not chores were completed. Right now all you can do is check them off as complete. The chores stay on the list until they are checked off. We use the chore function for allowances. It makes it hard to figure out. Would be great to be able to mark them as incomplete or even be able to move them.

Needs to have some sort of error handling. If you are trying to upload a bunch of photos, it sometimes just doesn't work. It seems like there are certain photos that are incompatible and if you include one of those or try to upload those individually, none of the photos will upload. You will need to exit the app completely and try again until you figure out which photos are incompatible. Very frustrating, it should just inform the user which photos are incompatible and move on

It's good! But. There are some QOL features I feel are missing, and navigating the UI can be painful. The calendar app should allow you to swipe to navigate dates and months. You should also be able to long press and drag to select spans of time. When looking at the calendar, it often cuts off the last half of a date (on my zfold), so I'll see 19, 20, 21, 2, 2, 2, 2, which is a bit frustrating. Otherwise, the app is great!

This app (which requires purchase of a Skylight Calendar or other Skylight product), works pretty well. I didn't have any issues setting it up and it's easy to navigate. My issue is a lack of features. It's an expensive product for having such bare-bones calendar options (for example, you can tell an event to repeat, but not when or how much). I end up creating all my events in Google and just syncing it to the calendar. Tasks and functions are also simple. More integrations would help.

Having an issue with the app opening the calander. It shows a calander for maybe 0.5secs and then gets stuck on the Skylight splashscreen. The other options such as chores work but not calander. I have written an email to tech support on May 13th, 2024 and still have not been reached out to 12 days later. My wife has been wanting this for around 8 months and finally purchased it, she even paid the yearly subscription to access everything...about to return it if there is no response.

UPDATE: Thanks to the quick response from the developers, the videos are displaying correctly. I am enjoying the app again! Well, I WAS enjoying this ap, but then the new update! Now when viewing videos on my Android phone I see a tiny little thumbnail. Maximizing the screen does not help the situation. At least they haven't messed up the photos!

This app could be better. I'd like to see widgets for things like calendar or chores. I'd also like options for sorting chores and lists. There is also a bug where the number on the calendar in month view will cut off the second digit of 2 digit days. This results in al days in the 20's to appear as 2, for example. The skylight device is great and this app has a lot of potential. Just some missing features and a couple frontend bugs.
