More About Sleep Monitor: Sleep Tracker

How did you sleep last night? 🌛
Sleep Monitor helps you track and record sleep cycle details. Sleep Monitor also has a smart alarm clock to remind you to sleep early at night and wake you up gently in the morning. In addition, Sleep Monitor provides relaxing sleep music to help you sleep better.

Key Features:
📊- New Feature: Sleep Trends
Improve sleep quality and develop better sleep habits with weekly and monthly data statistics.

🎙- Record Snoring or Dream Talking
Sleep Monitor will record snoring and grinding sounds made during your sleep, listen to them, and find more about your sleep the next morning! For fun!

💤- Mark Your Sleep Habits
If you drink, eat, exercise, have any pathological condition or depressed emotions before sleep, see how these slumber habits can impact your sleep.

📲- Track Your Sleep Phases
Sleepers will have 4 or 5 sleep cycles during the night. Usually, sleepers will pass four sleep stages in one sleep cycle: Non-REM 1(between waking and sleep), Non-REM 2(light sleep), Non-REM 3(deep sleep), and REM (Rapid Eye Movement, when most dreaming happens) sleep. These stages progress cyclically from 1 through REM then begin again with stage 1. A complete sleep cycle takes an average of 90 to 110 minutes, with each stage lasting between 5 to 25 minutes.

Sleep Monitor uses both microphone and accelerator sensors to measure body movements and environmental noise changes and then recognize your sleep stages.

📈- Get Your Sleep Score
Sleep Monitor will generate useful information for you after tracking, like sleep score, sleep cycle graphic, sleep statistics, sleep noise audios. Get your daily, weekly, or monthly sleep insights and use those data to help you sleep better. Sleep Monitor is especially helpful for those who want a way to check how their sleep is, and do not want to invest in an accessory like a smart band or smartwatch.

⏰ - Set Smart Alarm Clock
Set an alarm for your morning wake-up or nap or set a reminder for bedtime.

🎵- Listen to Soothing Lullabies
Suffering from insomnia? Listen to high-quality relaxing music to calm a racing mind before sleep. Fall asleep quickly with different kinds of sleep sounds.

✍ - Write Sleep Notes
Take brief notes for your sleep. Write down anything you want so you will never forget about them.

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩Sleep Monitor Target Group
- People who are suffering from insomnia, a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep.
- People who want to do self-diagnosis whether there are signs of poor sleep quality.
- People who care about sleep quality

The app overall is helpful & easy to navigate. But no explanation of features & there's a lot u can't customize. •I want AM/PM but it only uses military time. •"Sleep duration" isn't when u actually slept, that's when the monitor was on & that's misleading! Can't they change it to "monitoring duration"? •In "Record details" u can't click on each section to expanded. Basically, you get all kinds of facts & figures w/no explanation of what it means, or how to interpret the data in each section

Recording my sleep data has been one of the most effective things to improve or at least take some control of my sleep. This app is by far the only one I've really enjoyed using out of the selection on the app store. I've tried many but I always come back to this one. The design and such is very easy to use and understand while still having a great amount of features, such as breathing exercises, sleep factors, sleep noises, and more. All things to help with sleep or waking up. Highly suggested.

This app was okay for a while to track my sleep, but anytime I tried to look at more sleep data, or even the data from the previous night it wouldn't show up. And the CONSTANT nagging for premium was irritating. If I wanted to pay for premium then I would have, but I don't need the continuous pop up of going premium every single time I open the app to monitor my sleep. Eventually I got fed up and uninstalled it. For not paying it did mostly what it was supposed to.

Unhappy! First and foremost it billed me for a 1 yr subscription when I selected monthly billing of $2.99/mo. I thought I'd try the full app for a month and cancel depending on how well it worked for me... Surprise! I was billed for a full yr! My main reason for even trying was to record snoring. The audio recordings are not very robust and record only in increments of 1 min. Not happy with this app or the bait and switch on the billing.

No way to test it. Have to pay $9.99 per month to try out recording functions, which is ridiculously expensive! I would have difficulty deciding to pay $9.99 one time, let alone monthly. Since testing out the recording function was my main interest, and I couldn't test it without paying the $9.99, this turned out to be a waste of time . I suspect that the high reviews were from a time when this app was significantly more affordable or free. Bombards you with ads.

I only got this app to record sleep sounds and, after the first night, found out it's a paid feature. It'll record and show you how many clips and how long, but to play them, you have to upgrade. After reading some of the reviews, I'd be really upset to have to pay for a feature that has a history of crashing. I won't even purchase apps that don't allow a trial period, so you can see for yourself if you even want to pay for it. Sleep Tracker by Leap Fitness is way better and FREE. Uninstalling.

I've had it, & I've had it! It was fun before the push to pay. Originally I had access to all the sections: Lullaby, notes, tracking, playback, etc w/minimal ad interference. Ads slowly started to crop up at EVERY opportunity! To the point where I'd get jolted by every ad with loud noise first thing in the am, or the glaring light... and ads "unlocked" features. So, I used it w/out accessing the features. Until now; it just changed again. Membership ads - 3 times b/4 opening! Thanks, no thanks!

i really like this app. i love that you can get some of the music and stuff for free, including the hours in which you were asleep and whatever sleep state you are in. regarding the recording, I like that it records you automatically in your sleep. however, it is frustrating seeing that you have recordings but can't listen unless you have paid. i think all users should get a 7+ day free trial to see how they like it, before taking the step to pay for it all.

I've been having sleep issues, and this helps me track how much I sleep in a night and gives me good hints on how to stick to a schedule. I've noticed improvements. My sleep score when I first started was 45 - now it's up into the 80s! I have epilepsy and tend to have seizures in my sleep: this app records noises happening while sleeping, and I now have something for my neurologist to listen to. My only suggestion: A graph showing what time I'm in what sleep stage! 02/12: They added the graph!

Refund please. This app doesn't always work. Permissions are consistent, but sometimes waking up to the app being shut down. However, I can see the app likes to work during the day and the microphone is enabled (visible on Samsung) despite the app shut down and must force stop to disable the mic. Another thing that provides scepticism is how the app determines rem sleep without an on body monitor and only relying on the mic. Is this a modern day palm reader?

Without EEG, eye and limb movement, oxygen saturation as well as a microphone for snoring, it is impossible to define patient sleep architecture. I emailed the developers asking for research comparing the app to the gold standard, polysomnography, but they did not respond with any. They did say they would add accelerometers but this is still insufficient. You can use the phone's recorder to listen for snoring. The app is not worth paying for.

I gave this app a shot to test its sleep sounds recording, but it disappointingly hides most features behind a paywall. It records your sounds, allowing only two playback clips unless you upgrade. What irks me is the absence of a no-strings-attached trial, as it requires upfront subscription information. This lack of transparency makes it challenging to fully evaluate the app before potentially committing to an automatic subscription.

The app appears to be interesting. Monitoring a bunch of things. The paid subscription unlocks all of the things you would really want. Recordings and other breakdowns. Free version is very limited and loaded w adds. Definitely going to connect it w my watch and give it a go to see if I truly snore the way my wife complains.

For the overall experience...the sounds were nice, but the alarm was too soft. Also, a lot of the features it advertises require in app payments. For example, to listen to the sounds of me talking in the middle of the night, it needs to pay monthly to hear. If that's something you would pay for good for you, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew👍🏻

A bit frustrated that the music keeps shutting off well before it is supposed to...just as I am starting to fall asleep, which wakes me up. I have stopped using this because of that and just listened to spotify for sounds. I paid for a full year, but would like a refund if I cant use it. I will try again and see if it works.

The app is easy to download and free to use. I live alone and wasn't sure if I snored or talked in my sleep. But I have found myself waking up during the night and wondered if that was why. The first night I used it I had several episodes of snoring and talking in my sleep. Unfortunately you have to have premium to hear it. My Fitbit has always rated my sleep in the '70s to '80s. This app rated it really well in the high 90s. Interesting data to say the least... Now I want to know more!

Update: I am SO disappointed and frustrated. I have been using this app for a long time now, and have been paying for premium to save voice recordings. There were no notifications that made me aware my subscription was ending on the app, so I just found out that all of my recordings are GONE. Recordings of late night snippets with loved ones who have recently passed away, all vanished. I restarted my subscription, hoping maybe they'd reappear. But, they didn't. I no longer would recommend this.

I thought that this was one of those apps that records noises that I make while I'm asleep, but it doesn't even let me play back the recordings, unless I pay for this premium nonsense which is extremely expensive. If you are looking for a sleep recording/tracking app, you should get Sleep Tracker by Leap Fitness, it is completely free and you don't have to deal with any nonsense.

A huge problem in the sleep tracking app space is that the apps do not provide a clear list of which features are freemium and which ones you have to pay for. Sleep monitor is no different. Most of the important features, such as trends, sleep sound recording, sleep notes, and sleep sounds cost $3-$13 a month. To their credit, they do provide a list of features when you go to make the purchase. In terms of the app itself, it is much like the other apps. It does not offer accelerometer vs mic.
