The game almost immediately tries to shove microtransactions down your throat not even a minute after the tutorial. On top of that, you're almost required to spend money to even get past the first level, unless you have devil's luck or some sort of anime tactician amount of skill. It's a shame that this game is like this because the idea of a roguelike TD is really cool and should be explored more.

Reduced to 1 star from 3, now forcing ads for no reason. Spamming pop ups. The change to the chests, you used to be able to get chests to give you the "extra hero on first daily merge" or "spawn X unit at lvl 2" rewards often with a 5 coin chest merge, now it's almost impossible. So progression requires significantly more powerful (pay to win) units. You can clearly see this in the clearance records for each level, the old players cleared levels with level 6 units that a level 9 or 10 now can't.

There's the core to a good game somewhere underneath the (very large) pile of absolutely aggressive ads. Two payment for levels for each of the 2 or 3 separate passes they have going at any time. Constant pop-ups asking you to buy this package or that booster. Worth playing if you're good at finding and hitting the close button quickly enough. I understand developers of free games need some sort of income, but this borders on disrespectful.

They just started to play adds after every level and it's made the game significantly unenjoyable. If you're trying to Free to Play, you'll be stuck leveling up forever. Purple units are the strongest but become next to impossible to level up. The daily challenges always seem to pick my weakest units that always lose as the challenge. I really like the concept of this game but there is nothing worth while to spend money on in the store. It's all just temporary.

Use to love the game. It has it normal microtranactions (which I do buy stuff from time to time), but that's fine. But as of the last update, every time you either beat a level or get defeat, it suddenly shows an ad. There is no way to skip it, and you get nothing from it. This either needs to stop, or I'm going to stop playing. If your reading this don't waste your time on this game till the above issue is fixed.

The game have a lot of paying options and tons of advertising as many other games. I guessed that once I pay I will no watch ad again.. But still have ad after each game. Even if you pay here - you MUST watch ad and spend a lot of time to give developers extra few cents. 80 lvl of greedy. And you know what happening now? I try to play and got message "no internet connection - check your connection". But it still shows ads!!! Just waste of time. I prefer to pay and avoid any ads. No options here

Best match and fight game ever, new favorite!! Taking away at least 1 star, even after purchases your forced to watch ads after a round( rounds last about 3-10min) In addition, im level 29 and can't beat this stage for anything, I've even bought multiple lvl ups for characters, so no advancement; and yes, still have to watch ads after the round. If it wasn't such a fun game for me I'd take 2 stars, but i kinda life the challenge, this is a bit much though.

Dont get me wrong. I love the game. I bought many passes. Despite that everything costs money. And most of the stuff is an ad based but still ok. The thing is, since the last update, most of the ads end up in a grey screen, and you need to kill the game and reopen it. Losing progress, and it is a little frustrating and taking away the fun. Update: ok you killed it. You greedy dev. Now ads every end of level? Im out

Used to love it... but now there are ads after every level as if this last week. It wasn't necessarily pay to play but if you don't want to grind for weeks to beat one level, then it is pay to play. It's so fun and the style and puzzles are great, but the scaling difficulty and ads are becoming unacceptable. Update: level 56 is impossible. I give up. Been stuck for months

I loved playing this game, as grindy as it was, until they added unskipable ads after every game. For months, I kept playing even when I got stuck on a level I still played it almost daily as a way to unwind. But unskipable ads are a deal breaker for me, it was one thing to have a choice to watch one or two for a reward or boost. Im sad to say that I'm uninstalling one of my favorite go-to's.

Gameplay and mechanics are fun and casual, borderline addicting. However, there are ads at every turn, in menus and durring matches. I finally un-installed the app after a match where I earned a reward, watched ad to accept the reward, then watched an end of match ad, then earned another reward which prompted a 3rd and final ad. All ads are minimum 30seconds.

Progression sucks, you're pretty much stuck playing the same levels with the same characters over and over again so you can save up enough coins to try and upgrade your 4 same creatures to be slightly stronger to replay against the same wave of enemies. Also, they do not explain the most of the icons on the start screen well. I still don't know what half of them are for. Game could be so much better but sadly falls short of expectations.

So fire great game but I'm on the third chapter and I finally got to the 20th stage and the game says that there's no network connection when I have a full bars on wifi. That's the only glitch so far but the UI is a little clunky. Make it more user friendly and I'll rate it five stars. I'd love to see some mini games, side quests & backstories, and or skill trees for each unit type. Thanks for making a fun game, hope you see this and can do something.

This game is fun at first. Until you realize it is a lot of grinding unless you pay for 'extras'. The pricing is good for the extras but it is more micro-transactions that have no end. So if you have more money than you know what to do with, this game will be amazing! If you are watching money or have little, it will become cumbersome and not worth your time! A hint for those experiencing crashes, look at any antivirus protection you use for causing the crash. Check the logs for why it crashed!

This is a game of patience and dedication. It takes time to strengthen enough to level to new battles. It's worth it if you take time and use all resources offered through side trials and challenges. My one complaint is that prices for item packs or passes are higher than normal, for less. Less as in, not enough items or resources to exactly change your strength immediately. I don't want to buy multiple packs all the time. Lower prices or add to packs!

I tried this game because of an Ad reward I got on another game. This game blocked me from receiving rewards because I beat chapter 1 TOO FAST. That is nonsense. At first there were no Ads except optional ones for boosts etc. But now there are Ads every time you finish/lose a battle. Non optional ads make the game annoying. I enjoyed the game until learning about them saying i broke their ToS by winning too fast. Which is funny since the game is hard and I had to play multiple times to win.

I downloaded this game to get currency on another game im playing. At first, I was really enjoying it and even made a couple of purchases, but then I realized this game is riddled with unavoidable ads!!! Waaaayyyy too many ads. After each game, an ad. Pause during a game an ad. Even if they peddle back on the ads, I don't think I'll come back to this game. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Lots of fun and the ads experience is great because it's up to the user to watch them or not. There's very little in the way of documentation, however. Monster abilities have affects like dealing extra damage to "stunned" or "corruptive" enemies but no mention of what it means to be stunned or how it gets stunned (same with corruptive). Generally I wish I had more information! But the game itself is addictive =)

Pretty fun concept but the amount of ads and purchases is just absurd. Ads after completing a match, pausing the game, etc is just unacceptable. If I choose to watch an ad for things, that's fine but all the excess is just ridiculous. Also the amount of constant 'events' and passes is just stupid, especially considering they cost like $95. A full blow console triple AAA game isn't even that much. These mobile developers have completely lost touch with reality.

Fun, but the latest update made the ads unbearable. Every level, every time you pause the level, and the ads are aggressive. The kind that try to install if you miss the button to close it. An ad here and there is understandable, but every single wave is too much. When the ads are literally longer than the levels, and you force them on us, then it's not worth it anymore. Edit 7/1/24 update added ads to the goddamned pause menu during a level. I don't have the patience or time for that.
