Wow. Just suddenly cannot do ANYTHING. I used to love this app and used it once in a while. Now I cannot use ANY of the tools without you wany $50.... Bad form.

Perfect OTHER from the fact that pressing 'save to device' does nothing. It just brings up a list of actions, none of which are SAVE TO DEVICE. It's so irritating that I've stopped using this app, despite it being the fastest and best pdf reader I've used.

geez .. why in the world was I still using Adobe acrobat? had been using small PDF to convert multiple pages of PDF into one document.. but now that Adobe wants to charge me silly amounts for a monthly or annual contract... I'm coming over to small PDF for their very small annual subscription amount and getting all of my needs covered in one tool.

I have the trial for 2 days and this app doesn't deserve a cent .after then ,I tried to cancel trial but an error message appear 😏. Because I took this into account. I give them an un real Vodafone cash account. They are just robbers. If you use this app ,I assure you to be robbed.

Free trial doesn't cancel. No matter how many times you cancel free trial they still bill you and they say you signed there terms and they can do nothing. Then the service won't even work well the way it did during free trial. Save your time, wallet and brain and try someone else.

I don't know why this app has become so much slow and laggy that even I can't scroll or get back, but it used to run very smooth before. Uninstalling it as it's getting very difficult and frustrating.

Please know! Most paid features of this app are free in Samsung Notes. This is not a free app. The only redeeming feature is file size reduction (I guess, assuming you only need to do it once and don't use any other features of the app).

Reliably kept freezing when trying to edit this 250kb .pdf (answer a formulary). Adding text is fine but when trying to tick a box question, it just hangs, then i get the "app is not responding" msg. Close and reopen, same. Cleared cache & data, same thing. Reinstalled, same thing. Will not associate itself when trying to open .pdfs sent over Messenger either. Unfortunate since i liked the app.

I had been using this app for over a year and really loved it. However since my annual renewal there has just been problem after problem. Payment made at my end and out of the blue, smallpdf cancelled my account. When I made enquiries this was denied however they said they hadn't received my payment, despite the fact the cash left my account. Tried to fix this twice, but response times way too slow, so have given up and gone to abode acrobat instead. Very disappointed 😞

Followup: 4star. For a quick response and direct answer to my issues. They hope ot offer pdf editing soon. Name PDF scanner & editor is a bit misleading until you can truly edit the pdfs. Original 1 star: No option to EDIT existing text, but you can add to a PDF. Not even close to what I was led to believe. Says full web edit of PDF, that is not true either. :(

This is a wonderful app, with every option you need to annotate or edit a document. But one expirence ruins it all. I'm not able to switch between the highlighter/drawing/text tool to the others. Every time I need to switch my annotating tool, I have to save the document and open it again. Honestly, this is quite annoying and I had to stop using this app because of this problem

I've been using the app for about 3 months. It worked great until yesterday. Now, it won't compress my files. I'm 3 weeks into my 1 year paid subscription. This is not acceptable. I need to scan and compress multiple pdfs every day in a limited amount of time. Will update review if I get any help. Edit to add that they have not fixed the problem and have stopped responding to my emails.

I love the website!! It comes in so handy and works great!! Tried to use the app for the first time today. Mind you this is after I've bragged and bragged about how simple and convenient it is thinking it would be comparable to the website. NOPE!!! Tried for over an hour to make a pdf. Would not save pdf. Would not save pics of document. Prepared the pdf at least 5 times and lost the work every time as it wouldn't save. Very irritated!!!!!

I urge people not to subscribe for the "free" trail! Looking at posts here, and with my own experience it seems like it's an intentional way of deceiving and getting money out of people without them being aware. I've subscribed to the free trail 5 months ago, usually I put down on my calender a reminder for when the free trial ends so I'll know to cancel it, but small pdf promises and highlights that they will send a reminder email 5 days before any charges. Simple, clean UI with all the simple yet essential features I need to convert, edit, add pages, compress, and combine multiple PDFs all in a very user friendly easy to navigate app with a very responsive developer if you ever need help. Oh, did I mention it's the only app I've found that gives you all these features for FREE?! Great job Dev, very impressed with how much time this app saves me everyday!

A the start I tried to convert a file from World to PDF. It was good. Next I tried to edit that document. No options for it. App offered to add text. It was very bad because could not move a cursor in the specific location. After that received message only can do 2 option for free in sessions. The developer doesn't provide they charge lists in advance. Will uninstall that app.

I was skeptical at first to try this app because it is not mentioned often. The app does everything except let me delete existing text in a pdf. It let me add text, delete pages, rearrange pages, highlight text, and strikeout text. Finally, I was able to extract and merge pages. It was easy to learn since you are able to experiment knowing if it didn't work out you could undo. A robust undo implementation is a must when you are performing many edits to a document.
