Absolute scam. Wish I had of read the reviews. Was offered cashback on a transaction so went for it. Put acc details in for the cashback and now they are charging me. I didn't ask or sign up to be charged for anything. Very sneaky how they operate. A total waste of time and now I have to go through all the hassle of trying to make sure I don't get charged again. Tried to cancel through the app but that didn't work. So now I have to deal with this. Such a shame google play allow these scam apps

100% pure fraud. Shortly after I decided to test drive this app it began pulling unauthorized charges from my credit card. Blocked, reported. Do not trust this app that says it will save you money but I'm fact only steals from you

Please, please be careful when using this app. It's deceptive..... And word of advice, if you happen to create an account with them, using your Google to sign up, make sure your Google name is, is correctly displayed, on your Google account. As you can see, I changed my name to pain relief oils, so that I can market my product, better and reach different customers. I received a rebate check, thinking I was going to be able to cash it, but they sent it to pain relief oils. Like for reals. Bish

I messaged support and asked to cancel before my free trail ran out, they ignored it and took my money anyway. I still cant cancel it. Seems to be a business plan of make it as hard as possible to cancel so that people dont bother. massive scam

Beware: I never even signed up or downloaded this SMARTY app somehow it installed on its own in my phone and now it takes $19 a month automatically from checking account. I never created an account or agreed to its term & Conditions! This app definitely steals your money, most definitely DOESN'T reimburse you any $$$$$ 😡 I had to cancel my prior checking account and get issued a new debit card to stop SMARTY from being theifs 🙍‍♀️🙅‍♀️

I thought this was an app that was going to be giving me back money not taking money away from me I'm very unhappy. It seems like I wasn't the only one that got sucked into the scam. I was charged twice on my credit card. Small increments very sketchy. I'm going to be unsubscribing from this app. Waiting for a response and a refund.

I have tried and tried to discontinue this service. I'm still being charged $19 every month for something I don't want, but they make it nearly impossible to cancel it. I need some help stopping this because I just can't afford it. I've written them, gone on Google to stop them, texted them... Now what. I hate these looks loopy apps that trap and trick you so they can keep charging you.

Scam, as all the other reviews state. They bait you with a $15 rebate but you won't get it until your trial period ends and are charged a full month. This is contrary to the ad that said I would get the rebate just for trying. You don't. You have to do more than just try. Once realising this, they stop you from cancelling your subscription for 24 hours in hopes that you forget to tomorrow and they can charge you at least once.

Do not install this. Apparently I've installed it half a year ago and I guess didn't like it and deleted right away, I don't even remember why I did that. So, today I was looking at my bank account and found out I was charged 19$ for the membership. It appears that they've been charging me for the past 7 months 19$ each month. I didn't get any emails or notifications that I was going to be charged that money or my membership would be renewed so I could somehow manage it.

FRAUD!!!!!! This popped up on a legit site while I was filling out a form for purchases. They got my credit card and INSTANTLY billed me. I went to the website to delete info and I can't!!! I've tried to unsubscribe. You can't. You can only opt out of emails and notifications. In their FAQ the question is how to unsubscribe. They give false directions to there menu. And the option to unsubscribe is NOT THERE.

When I bought tickets on TicketMaster, Smarty showed up on the ticketmaster app offering a free 15 dollar rebate, so after filling out the info for what was supposed to be FREE, there was a 3 dollar charge on my credit card. After reading other reviews, I realized it would end up costing more money to get the rebate than I was getting back. Nowhere I saw leading up to this was it stated that there would be a 3 dollar charge. Horrible business practice, I feel taken advantage of and lied to.

I feel deceived. Definitely a scam. It is NOT straight forward that this is a subscription situation, nor do they tell you how much is being charged. Got sucked in trying to save some money on expensive movie tickets. All in all, it started with a $3 charge I didn't expect, then just today $19. Canceled my ✌️"subscription"✌️ and just HOPE I don't get any further surprise fees

UPDATE: This is an update from July 26th, 2023. $3 lost. Didn't get the rebate within the 6-8 weeks and no notifications as to why. I deleted my Smarty account entirely and will be deleting the app. As for Smarty's response, there wasn't confusion. I stated that I saw the membership fees in my original review. The rebate either doesn't exist or you have to wait until the $19/month charge hits so you take a net loss of $7. Whatever. I'm not coming back. To those who have the membership, good luck

Update* Check received and cashed with zero problems. ---------- Read the fine print. I to was charged 3$ for the subscription. fortunately for me I was refunded the next day, simply by emailing them and canceling my subscription. Also got my rebate approved 12 hours after following the instructions for the rebate. So far I have no complaints, just a miner inconvenience 👍

Scam! They reel you in with a promise of a $15 rebate (advertised to me via Cinemark's app btw) and a free trial but then charge you $3 just for signing up. Then in order to receive your rebate, you must maintain membership with them after paying a monthly fee which results in a loss. It is seriously one of the many "Sounds too good to be true" offers that MUST be refused.

Beware! If promised a rebate with a trial sign-up & auto-renew you will likely not get it by the time the trial period ends, thus losing it if you do cancel. Also, be prepared for a wild goose chase to find the delete account button. It's there, FAQ tells you where to find it is, sort of...if you can find THAT instruction. But the description is unclear, incomplete, flat wrong...and hidden. A good, honest, useful product would be transparent. It would't have to obfuscate. Good riddance.

Scam. The bad: Baited with a $15 rebate. Their FAQ states "Smarty is absolutely free!" yet they charge you a $3 for a 7-day trial period after which they charge $19/month, all of which wasn't clearly presented in the process. I only saw it when it got charged to my credit card. Rebate takes 6-8 weeks, by then they have $22-$41 out of you for a net loss of $7-$26! The good: customer support quickly cancelled my account and promised to return my money.... We'll see if they do.

There are so many options to take from online. All of them have bugs glitches and many more. In this app , honestly the login was buffuring and some loading issue (taking time) . But on the other hand the shopping section is bug free and it was working fine. I was shocked about the pricing but it was decent. By shopping some coins could be earned which could be used to convert into currency 💲 or other offers such as surveys , deals etc .The survey 🪵 and deals 🤝 are good 💯. It's appropriated
