Good app but what the heck it logs you out all the time?? They all went paranoid with security, it does not do any harm if you don't log me out. It's just a telco's app on my phone which is already secured, come on

I wanted a new SIM because I am starting to get scam calls and my internet has just fallen off a cliff overnight. I've had smarty for probably 2+ years and it's been fine. With 4k streaming, it struggles, but 1440 is normally ok. Recently, however, my signal just dies completely almost every day, multiple times a day. I try and contact them and am met with the worst AI assistant I've ever used. And the new SIM links they have are ALL broken. I could go on but I've reached MaXiMuM tExT lImIt.

Mostly okay. I can sign in and use the app except the issue is evertime i wanna view my info i ahve to log in again. Stop that nonesense and let us auto log in. Other companys like ee and tesco dont auto log you out! The upside to the company is that there unlimited plan currently lets you eat all the data you want.

REGULAR things to renew via credit cards are keeping good enough distinctive competence, and the payment processing treatment is swift! LEVEL smooth journey to keep my existing capacities phone number, took about five working days!🔐 DOUBLE LOYALTY bonus data is after getting it for a bit of the year onwards! 🆓 This review is after getting it for more than a year of 5 G 100 MB MONTHLY SOLE method internet access ♿ (Three Networks and Vodafone LTE/4G + Low Band 5 Ghave merged together)🌉

a bit fed up with being offered more and more data which I don't really need all I want is a reliable signal. Now a double whammy as I'm planning to update my mobile only to discover that Smarty is about the only UK mobile network that does not support E SIM cards which I am going to need. Seems like Smarty and me will be parting company soon.

Update: If you experience problems with signin in, just follow the advice below. 🥳 p.s. It's a bit annoying, but it's good to remember it. [old] [ This app used to be so good... but now even to login is a big problem..update.. enter email and password.. wait.. wait.. nothing. I know they are the right ones, as they are from Samsung pass, so no typo. The review is just for the app.] Other than that, almost everything is very good about Smarty. It's actually a bargain for the customer.

Absolutely bonkers. App is poorly developed, probably in the same country as all their customer service people that only copy-paste scripts and have no idea what the customer is talking about probably because they don't speak English. Being recognized by the Ofcom with such poor service is really beyond my understanding. Not to mention that all services are seconded by Three therefore you'll never get the full 'package'. Also since the merger with Vodafone I've been having constant issues .

Best I've had for value for money, Smarty app opens quickly, easy to use, But had little trouble activating my account ,plus sim, fair do once sorted I couldn't fault service and prices on sim only plans, Especially been with EE after plusnet stopped mobile sim, there so called mobile apps is worst one had ,connection could take 3=5 minutes to start only to find trying do anything was waste of time, full of ads want to sell. Any way that's it for now,

App has stopped working. hangs at log in. I have cleared cache, logged out, deleted data, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed password all to no avail. never had.a problem with it until now so can only award 1 star. I can access the account on a browser.

CHEAP FOR A REASON. Cannot login or pay for out of plan Add-ons abroad, even after updating app on WiFi. Left me completely stranded in Serbia. Had to get to a garage with WiFi to get any functionality. Third World tech employees . Had been considering switching based on the atrocious data and phone signal offered in the UK - ONE BAR COMING OUT OF CLAPHAM. JUNCTION STATION! - this has confirmed my doubts.

App works well. Has a good laid out menu and quite a lot of useful help or FAQ. Only downside is the chat facility is hidden away at the back (so to speak) when it should be on the front page and even when there is a response you have to drill back it. if I get a notification it should take me into the chat it doesn't.

why does "update payment details" not update payment details? done it 3 times with new card, but old expired card is still there. my plan has been cancelled even though I updated it 2 weeks ago. because it's trying to take payment from an expired card. The point is; The app should be smart enough to know that if I'm updating my payment details, the previous details must now be redundant. it's very basic, schoolboy level, "if - then - and" programming.

Weirdly, it's better than the network EE tbh for some reason speed wise, it's mostly on 5G unlike Three & it's cheaper, simpler, it's worth it especially as a student. I'll soon invite my friends on here & create a group plan for my family to jump on, it's honestly an epic network, very community based too. Rarity to find simplicity & straightforwardness in a mobile data company. Even purchasing add-ons is easy, & changing plans. edit: they added airtime rewards and e SIM! amazing

absolutely love SMARTY!!! I come from a country that pays the highest mobile prices in the world, so when I moved to the UK, I was amazed at how easy and affordable SMARTY is!! it works in every country I travel to, and the ad-ons are so convenient and easy to apply! It's so good my wife canceled her Vodafone plan and moved to SMARTY after seeing my service and price.

I transferred my number from virgin to smarty. But when I make calls the correct ported number is shown, but when I send text messages the old smarty number is still shown. Fixing the issue requires smarty to do a reset so that both text & calls have the same number. This is a simple procedure for Vodafone, o2, Three, etc, but smarty have said they don't have the capability to do it so i'm stuck with 1 number for calls and a different number for texts. Needles to say, I'm ending the contract!

Please find a way to keep the user logged in. It's annoying that I have to sign in a lot. What's the point in trusting a device if you have to login often? Maybe link it to our Google account instead. Or perhaps using finger print? This issue has been around for years, I only logged in about a week or so ago. Thanks.

Customer service staff are pretty helpful, as a new customer. Only issue I'm currently encountering is a bug with the screen lock, my biometrics work but after trying to turn on "use biometrics", I'm taken to the app's device settings page, and thats it, no option in permissions to turn it on. If I go to "all permissions", under "other app capabilities" it has both 'use biometric'/'fingerprint hardware'. It's not the biggest issue, but hopefully it can be fixed in another future app update.

Fine for managing your account and viewing your current allowance/quota and topping up add-ons. It has one major annoying habit - if you don't use it regularly, it'll will log you out and force you to log back in. It's made worse by there being no automatic popup to use your Google credentials, and I didn't find the ability to use phone biometric login either. Banking apps handle sign-in more securely, without the constant need to remember a password for an app you use infrequently.

Do not get this SIM card if traveling. Purchased a plan for one month while traveling. Never got it to work. Specifically did not sign up for reoccurring payments, they charged me for another month. Was helped promptly through email after leaving a 1-star review, and the matter is resolved, but the app wouldn't open after I tried to use the chat for help feature so all help was rendered through email. 3 stars for prompt customer service and working with me from abroad.

I would strongly advise that if you plan to get more than one contract with Smarty, don't! The app literally locks you out of ALL of your contracts if you happen to close the first one you got with them. I have had no end of problems with Smarty, and it all comes down the thier rubbish app. Ive even had my contract locked from making any changes because a glitch with the App. I'm so sick of the problems Ive moved all my contracts over to ID Mobile and I won't be looking back.
