Sync Not Working for Months on VIP Membership - I have been a mostly happy paying customer for years but ever since you made all these updates, no matter what I do, my sync does not work on video. I prefer to record videos and each time, it is ruined by massive sync issues. Either my mouth is not synced to my words or the music goes in and out of sync throughout the song or both! Actually, usually both. This is very disappointing. Please fix this. I just want to sing in sync! Samsung Galaxy S10

The VIP pricing is ridiculous. I used to have a smule subscription that cost $4.99 a month. now, its $9.99 for a week...A WEEK!!! That's more expensive than a monthly subscriptuon to most steaming services! A monthly subscription? $19.99 more than a premium monthly Netflix subscription. Yes, you can do it for free if you do duets and things, but paying that much for a karaoke app that isn't even karaoke! Half the songs still have vocals over top! It's ridiculous.

The people make it fun. I hate the weekly charge, and it's far too expensive. There also needs to be ability to edit a song by clipping the beginning or end if you mess up singing. There also needs to be goals like achievements. And being told "I sounded awesome" on every song regardless of my points isn't helpful to aid in improving my performance. Perhaps unlockable features like an animated avatar that performs the song sung, or earnable props for the stage the avatar sung on, plus lighting.

I was excited for this app, but after spending some time and money on the Smule app I find the user experience frustrating to say the least. The app is clunky and freezes on multiple occasions. Making the user experience sub par. Which needs to be fixed promptly. I'm also not very keen on how much echo I hear in the headphones while singing, but that's not a big deal. The biggest deal is being able to actually use the app flawlessly every time. Until the bugs are fixed, don't waste your money.

It needs the feature to go back and do the chorus also they should work something out for wireless earphones, I currently use bluetooth headphones and I found out when you do that, the app used the phone microphone which in a way is good due to the duality of the voice recording. The only problem is the lag. In order to be on time you have to go all the way to -400

I'm glad that with the most recent update they brought creative freedoms back in the way of filters and the app is still something I enjoy. I wish they would add a function that works allow you to record with wireless earbuds or headphones though because I prefer the audio that comes through the ones I have, but the recording comes through so off time that I can't even get it adjusted to be on time with the music and I have to deal with my half broken wired ones.

Nice app, but can you please, please PLEASE find a way to sync the sounds and videos better?! It's so annoying to have to continuously repeat a song because the vocals won't sync, especially if it was done with video. Come on! Edit - it's free to join someone else's duet, but you can't post it unless you pay. What sense does that make? Please do better.

I love the VIP version of this app but hope they update to where you can fix portions of the song with one voice option and then highlight and fix a different portion with a different sound, but that is really asking for advance stuff. Still think it should be an option for VIP. Love the songs and singing all the time when I am happy and when I am less than happy.

( I updated and its still doing it. )Havnt been able to get though a single song lately . Every time I try it skips like a cd would or freezes no matter how many times I restart the don't or reset the app or my phone. Nothing is helping. I'm getting frustrated this just started about a few days ago. I cant even join people's duets because of it. I'm really getting tired of it. I would really like to sing and record soon.

I have a lot of fun on this app, but there are a few issues that have been kind of annoying for a while now. It would be awesome if you guys allowed Bluetooth headphones to save group songs. Also! When are you gunna let Android users skip ahead in songs and record over previously recorded layers etc.??? Not really fair that apple users have had this feature for a while and updates haven't yet been made to accommodate Android users.

I love to sing therefore I keep this app but it still needs improvement big time. Songs are kind of repetitive anymore there isn't a huge selection when it comes to hard rock music. Music is classified under rock that isn't even rock. Now there is a new issue of not being able to see my own recordings when I go to my profile which is very disappointing when I pay for VIP for a reason! Then the ads that come up for their products is ridiculous too I don't want to see ads when I pay for the app!

I believe both paid and free version need more audio effects/control. I like the features now, but I wish I could edit more. EDIT: I think the scariest part is publishing a song and even though when you heard it in the playback the timing was perfect after saving the recording there are a lot of times that the timing is off and I wish more than anything I could go back and edit that, or understand why it's happening lol

If you scroll to the bottom of your followed list, the app guaranteedly crashes. Even outside of this, the app is rather slow and crashes very often. Also the live video aspect is generally very laggy, buggy, and has random host migrations. Another thing is that the sound delay of the voice monitoring option when you are recording, makes it near useless and more of an annoyance, as it makes it near impossible to sing in time to the music. Crashes when you try to search up a song...

I love this app. I've made some great memories. 2+ years now. But the last dozen times I've tried to start a don't others can join, the timing on the recording always either speed up or slows down near the end of the recording. And manually changing the timing doesn't help at all. Please fix. This is the main reason I haven't used the app much, of late.

The app doesn't even function properly in some cases. I have STRUGGLED to figure out how to get it to pick up my mic properly, but it doesn't, and I've tested it multiple times and everytime I use the mic outside the app it works. The worst issue is that it doesn't even have a section in the settings to test or mess with settings for your microphone. The help section hasn't had anything to help with this situation either /:

I've used this app for probably close to a decade. I sing maybe 20-30 songs a year. Whenever I'd get the urge to sing a couple songs, I'd upgrade to VIP. I went to do that today, and was absolutely horrified to find their monthly subscription quadrupled seemingly overnight. It ised to be $5/month, and now is $10/WEEK. This app had its flaws with syncing, audio mixing incorrectly, etc. But for $5/month, you can't complain. $20/mo isn't worth it. Hard to say goodbye after all these years. 😔

Prior to 2024 when the app wass $5 a month it was amazing! There was so much options nd so many active users, but now they're charging four times the amount for monthly and are severely limiting certain actions. For example showcasing only 100 of our old recordings that's pretty absurd don't you think? I paid for the app for well over a year and now I don't get access to them anymore? I could see if the app was $10 a month then I'd say it's a little worth it, but now I really don't see a point.

it's users submitting songs, mislabeling things and such, certain songs you love will not be here, some songs you wouldn't expect have at least a with-vocals (vocal-less being standard for karaoke, y'know?), some songs you have to dig through multiple different uploads to find one with actual quality. the settings you can change are pretty numerous, camera on/off, vocal volume, sing a song and invite peeps or join others. most features blocked behind premium, but overall, perfectly acceptable

I love being on this app. It's a place where I can come in, sing songs that I enjoy and love meeting new people. The only thing I wish it had for Android that apple has is time travel feature, filters for live jam and to also save our sessions otherwise, I love it. Can we please bring back the joinable songs? I think for most of us really enjoyed it and it gave us the opportunity to go back on songs we've missed

I've been using this app for 5 years now & I used to LOVE it. Don't know what happened with the recent update, but everything has been downgraded beyond repair. All the old fun voice filters have been removed, renamed, or deleted. Being able to configure the volume & so on has been made difficult & there are major syncing issues. Vip used to be $5 a month & now $10 a week. This was once a 5 star app & now all the og users are gone due to all the problems.
