Really happy with app but disappointed with pricing. The interface is great but $40 a month as your next price point from the free trial version is going to exclude a lot of customers who'd pay maybe $5 a month just to have more entries available. Was excited to use this but going to have to switch to a different app given the pricing.

Enjoyed using app past few months. Started with free version. It is easy to understand and use. When I got serious about creating folders and photographing items I immediately realized I wanted more options and was willing to pay for them. Unfortunately Sortly has decided to go with big business at $50+/mo minimum. I am an at home cookier. This is out of my price range. Glad I found this out now b4 maxing out my allotted 100 entries. For this reason I rate it a 3 bc my business doesn't matter.

Need a way to communicate trouble ticket details to development. Found several issues. We think the system is easy to use and the label system saves time. We did run across some development issues but there's does not seem to be any phone support to troubleshoot or advise of issues within the program. Great start to an easy to use system. Needs a little tweaking.

i am a collector and wanted to be able to sort my collection, however I have more than 100 items, and the upgrade price is HUGE! $40-$100 a MONTH! It sucks because the platform and app was perfect for what I needed it for, and now I can't use it and I wasted all that time entering for nothing. I see that they are trying to move on from personal inventory to being a business platform, but it sucks that they are ignoring the needs of their original consumers by getting rid of the home option.

When accessing an already established database with thousands of pictures it wants to download and sync those thousands of photos, rather than downloading them as I try to access that item. This seems entirely backwards. The rest of the app seems to function as expected, but I'll be deleting it and sticking to the desktop version until that issue can be addressed.

This was a fantastic app for packing up for my last move--nothing else comes close. After days of searching I can't find anything that even begins to do what I want. Unfortunately, they've now switched entirely to focusing on business use, and the prices are too high for anything else. I would happily pay $39.99 once to own this app (and that's a huge price for an app), but that rate per month is simply not workable for home use. This is a very disappointing decision.

Really loved the app i have tried for a really long time and i mean by long over a year to find an app and sortly was finally the answer there's a couple thing that bugged me. First of all there is no tutorial so there is no way of knowing what you're doing unless you do some tests yourself and even if you find a "better way" sometimes you can't repair the way you want unless you delete and start over. And the issue I'm suffering the most is that I can't adjust the items order in the list.

I got the free version to try initially & loved it...easy to use, nice look, & allowed me to organize things well. After about a month photos & icons started disappearing. It wasn't because the photos synced to the cloud & were no longer on my device -when I moved them back they still wouldn't reset. I reached out to Sortly support, but they weren't helpful. The only way to get photos back seems to be to retake them. No thanks...I wouldn't pay for this. Without photos I have no use for this app.

I'm sorry, but paying $5 a month just to have an inventory of items I own is freaking ridiculous. I was hoping to have am app I could keep track of items that arent books or movies so I know what I have before buying. It works well for free, but I have more than 100 items to sort in my life and the fact o have to manually input each one because the scanner is only available for the paid version makes me never want to use it. If it was one, SINGLE payment. Sure. Not yearly/monthly, though.

Sortly is the perfect solution for me. I'm using the subscription (~$5) version of the app to organize a major move. I have temporary accommodation for the next 5 months before moving to another continent, I have things in storage, things for sale, things ready to be shipped - a lot to keep track of. With Sortly I know exactly what is in each box, and what I intend to do with each item. Couldn't be happier.

Meh. Sortly Plus is better than most (and there aint too many options out there that actually works or is easy to work with or has flexibility in recording/sorting any information desired (Sortly fails on this point)). One thing to keep in mind, this is just an inventory app and as such excells, but as a collection database record, it sucks. go look elsewhere. I like that its cross-platform compatible (even tho the PC is only via web browser and doesnt have a dedicated app). HOWEVER, I collect guitars and Sortly Plus cannot record anything more than the most basic info (a name and a serial number, is pretty much it, aside from ONE pic/record). Cannot record any other info such as where/whom/when I bought it from, amount paid, color, setup info, any notes (<- note plural, i usually have more than one notes related to each item), web links to any resources/info, cannot attach files, etc. Methinks I may cancel subscription before trial ends... I know that Sortly Pro supposedly does that BUT at $25US/month, that is WAY too much out of pocket for a private individual to justify. I dont mind paying for functionality, but not that much.

This is an awesome app to help organize & sort my stamps, inks, dies & supplies. I'd give it a 5 star if only within the app can the photos be edited. I tried taking the pics with the camera & editing there & adding it to the file. I didn't want to have all my craft supply pics on my phone. So, I deleted them from my phone's album & storage. Only to find my pics were also deleted from the file I created in the app. Using the camera within the app, the pics are not centered & no editing option.

I signed up to try this app/service to track a personal collection. Internet searches seemed to recommend it. Although they have pages on their site that indicate the service has version for home inventory, collection tracking, and even tracking items for a move, in reality they are only after business use cases. The app and service appear like they could handle these use cases quite well. Sadly, they are not interested in the business of an individual.

For the first 4 days this app worked very well. I subscribed to the paid version and had family members help me input all the items in the container and shed. Tgen 2 days later while trying to adjust inventory up and down we noticed that items were being dropped from the or lending information was not being recorded. Then to top it off we now realize that the app has stopped syncing between devices. I tried the online help, and then reached out to the app creators....still no help provided.

I purchased this app as a home user for my extensive collections and belongings, such as books, toys, barbies, liquor, glass, china, etc... This app is very easy to use. As of Jan 2019, pictures still disappear and you cannot enter a book by scan or isbn (and yes, we know pro does, but I dont have a business). As an individual wanting to be more organized, I would give this app 4 stars if the pics didn't constantly disappear and it would be 5 stars if books could be entered by ISBN or scan.

I LOVE THIS APP. I used it to categorize and keep track of individual boxes when I was moving to a new house. I'll use it again and again every time I move. You can take pictures of the inside of each box AND put tags in each one. So I can literally type in "DVDs" and it will tell me exactly which boxes (I made labels and codes out of colored tape) have the DVDs in them, or the crock pot, or whatever. It's so amazing!!

Using to inventory waste treatment plant machines. I am able to take multiple photos, enter a serial number using the free custom field and then export all the data so that my pictures are neatly organized in an Excel sheet. This saved me a ton of time as pairing photos of machines that all look simular to their actual names, locations and serial numbers would have been a nightmare.

I absolutely love this app! I don't own a business, however I do have an extensive collections of hobby items, such as cookie cutters, cake pans, chocolate molds, pantographs for quilting, etc, and this app makes my collections much more organized & accessible. I know where each item is stored & what it looks like. I love that I can have up to 8 pictures per item, that I can search all folders by item name or by tag, such as "Thanksgiving". It makes planning for holidays so much easier! Love it

This is by far the best Inventory Management Software that I've used. Not only is it simple but it's also powerfully customizable to set options just the way you desire. This companies clarity, transparency, and communicatiom is top tier professional. I can see Sortly overtaking other tech giant organizations in the future if they continue on the pathway they're going. So in conclusion, I love the software, I love how helpful their team is, maybe one day I'll join their team. 👀 10/10 🌟!

App is fantastic. Business Model is horrendous. In my months of using Sortly Plus (now called Sortly Plus Legacy) the software is great. UX could be better, but it's a pleasure to use. I paid $5/mo. for my 1st year of Plus. This price has since been raised. The same plan is now $40/mo (80% increase). I back up my data via csv. If my legacy plan expires they will lose my business. Software good. Sub. Plans are awful. Any paying customers should have unlimited items. Storage is cheap. No excuse.
