Does the transcription very well & you can export as "monologue" (a single paragraph without the timestamps). But (1st tiny issue) you must select monologue each time. 2nd, bigger issue: it only exports as a file, with no option to just copy the text you also can't select the text on the screen that you've created. 3rd: stops detecting if screen times out. These issues add friction to my workflow, so for now I'm using GPT Notes. I might come back if this changes.

took a few minutes to transcribe, not a big deal, and was pretty accurate. I would recommend.

Hardly ever works and sometimes the transcription is incomplete. Not user friendly at all

updated review 19th August 2024 : very very disappointing... ai doesn't recognise words... space and time stamps evenly... need to change and check each words after processing ... takes a lotttt time .. also 8 minute is free only... SHAME ON YOU SCAMMERS... THROW YOUR WORTHLESS APP TO A TRASH

This would be the ultimate speech to text app hands down but because I paid for the pro version and it did take my money of course but left me with the basic version. Can someone fix this dilemma 🙏

Wo! this is great app I came across. it makes me easier .. instead of writing with my fingers, just voice and all words were appears 👍

I tested it a few times and it did not miss any words or misspell any words and all the proper punctuation was in place. I highly recommend this app.

Very easy to use I'm deleting all others. I don't think I've ever seen a transcriber work so well, this one is Awesome! I could not easily find this app on the Play Store but I have it now it comes up with the most popular apps and think it's the best! All that within 5 minutes of searching.

time to embrace the new technologies of AI. Waikiki digital dog and bite myself? I lost my phone can do my typing for me. help me keep up on my admin and battle my dyslexia. this app is probably the first one I've tried and I'm sufficiently pleased with it.

This transcription app is working perfectly. I use it for a in-conversation mix of english and spanish, with multiple speakers. So far, it is the only app that does this. I email support and they replied within hours. Thank you!

Pretty good overall, but after 5 files transcribed, I noticed it inserts three phrases seemingly at random during points where there is no audio at all. "Thank you," "we'll be right back," and "thanks for watching!" Makes me wonder if it was written by a late night talk show host.

Okay. ⭐ In my experience so far, it has been working quite impressive and accurate. I imported an audio file that has a slightly noisy background, far away from the speaker, and the speaker swaps between 2 languages. 'SoundType AI' worked well through the noise, and casually switched between the languages. The app UI feels easy to use. Happy to say, it actually transcripted better and more precise than me. ---- I can safely say that I recommend this app and please try for yourself to see.

Absolutely amazing! I was completely amazed by this app's unique feature that is hard to come by in similar apps - a marvelous attention to details that consequently translates into a ditto clone of the original utterances with all the requisite punctuation marks. Let me admit that I never had to cut a sorry figure even when speaking in the not so favourable environment, a lot of undecipherable commotion in the backgroun and the hydraulic machines constantly producing loud clicks and dumpings.

This review is based off my first test, I'll try to remember to come back and edit it if my experience changes. I installed and then promptly uninstalled several transcription apps before I got to this one because I searched "free" and each previous one asked me to pay a subscription. This one worked perfectly the first time (for free), I tested if by saying punctuation it puts it in there (it does not) but it puts in punctuation quite well on it's own! I recommend this app.

Free version is too limited. I should have explored it more before I used it for something serious. After recording an hour-long meeting, I discovered that the free version only gives you the first 8 minutes of transcripts. (Transcription was my entire purpose in using the app.) I would even have been willing to pay for one month to try it out, but you can only pay for a year at a time. I'm deleting this app and going back to my old one.
