The game was easily a five star game until the most recent update. When I suddenly got an ad between the night and day phase I just surrendered and quit the playthough. I'll check in a few days to see if they get rid of the forced ads, but if not then yeah I'll probably delete this game. It was a perfect game up until now that I've sunk plenty of time into wish it didn't have to end like this.

As long as the ads were optional, the game was perfect, and I used them to support the developers... But since ads are forced on you after every wave, the game has become just as bad as all the other mobile games full of ads. So there's no point in continuing to play it when the store is full of games with a similar mechanism that are ad-free. Plus, the design is stolen from StarCraft... I wonder why Blizzard isn't suing them.

Honestly I loved this game, great for wasting time and just having a relaxing gameplay. You could watch ads for bonuses that could really help you out progressing. Then during the last update they forced ads down your throat every couple of minutes. If you want to remove ads you can give them a dollar a day, which seems like the most ridiculous cash grab possible. Why not just buy a game and not have to deal with these money suckers for a simple mobile game. Will be missed!

Edit: Used to have ads that were voluntary and offline play. Now requires online play and does an ad every few waves. That plus plagiarism? Ya lost me. The animation style is nice, but a bit close to Carbot Animations for comfort. it seems like plagiarism. Aside from that the game play is good, a typical wave survivor with some Starcraft type flavor.

New update makes ads appear between stages. Ads were already present as an option for more resources, but only as an option, and I respected them for that before. It also has a constant internet connection required now, it keeps letting me know my Internet is bad when it appeared almost if not fully offline before. Was a fun game until now, unfortunately. Very cutesy, like Carbot animations as a spin-off StarCraft 2 TD.

Ruined a great game with excessive ads. I'm not normally one to actually write a review for a game, usually it is just a star rating, but this one was particularly bad and upsetting. Thanks to the recent update I had plenty of time to think of the review while watching (7) ads for one run. I have been playing this game daily for the last 3-4 weeks, but it is now infuriating with ads taking over the audio every 20 waves. I'd probably come back if this is fixed because the game was great 😒

this game was an awesome little game I played a couple time per day. but then they decided to put adds in between every set of 10 waves and ruined the experience. I watched to adds for the bonuses and such but now I have to delete the game. I'll give it a couple days and play it again if this isn't changed I will delete it. I really hope they get rid of the forced adds because it is fun and sucks they ruined it.

I've been playing this game for a few weeks and love it. However, this last update pushed even more ads. They're no longer optional. Every 10 rounds (which is often) they force ads. Then they want $25 for no ads. I would bet that if they just charged like $5-$10 one time cost with no ads, this game would explode in popularity! But greed is rampant in the gaming industry.

This game used to be amazing for free, and I even got the beginner pack and the piggybank because I played so much. However after today's update (11/7/25) there are ads EVERYWHERE. it used to be watch an ad and get something, but now after every day/night cycle (like 2-5 minutes) there is an ad. I used to love this game, but after the update It's not worth playing anymore. TLDR: if you like watching ads every 2 minutes download this game. And they are like 40 second ads.

Was great, now is loaded with ads. this WAS a great game. And then with the new update, now you get ads after every 20th wave of enemies. but when you've got a game that lasts for 100+ waves, its excessive. Im all for having ads to double your earnings or to get materials, like in earlier versions. But having interruptions every 20 waves when I regularly get to wave 140+ - players shouldn't have to sit through 7 ads just to play 1 game. the latest update just make this feel a cashgrab now.

I'm going to have to stop actually playing until the next update because if I play for long enough, the game starts slowing down, then shuts down, and I lose most of what I did playing, I have played 1 round 3 times starting from wave 13, 27 and 52. I'm not playing multiple rounds and get to wave 200. This is happening in the time it takes to get to 1 round to wave 130... at least Iit is for me.

I used to really love this game, until recently where it a FORCED ad every 10 rounds. Which then guess what? Watch the ad and a good chance you'll restart the game and any/all progress so far? possibly wiped. Tonight I figured I had enough when I cleared wave 210+ and ended up losing (was trying something new for fun). Ad at the end is optional, I did it.. guess what? ALL 210+ WAVES OF ITEMS? MONEY? ETC? all gone, no progress, no items, no save from game over screen. Lost it all. Enough.

this game was actually fun. Smooth gameplay, no interruptions, and it felt like the devs really cared about the player experience. But now — not even a few moths in — they’ve sold out and started forcing ads everywhere. and honestly I didn't mind the power up ads, it just became way too overwhelming. back to playing survivor.io.

I really enjoyed the game until the most recent update. I'm fine with ads as long as they're for optional rewards, but now you get bombarded with ads every 10 waves. (Thats 20 ads in a standard 200 wave playthrough, that's absolutely ridiculous!) It really breaks up the flow of the game and kills any desire I had to play it. Please revert this change

Extremely good game, very fun, well paced progression. I would have given it five stars, but the game devs decided that the optional ads weren't enough, and decided to put in mandatory ads on top of that. I understand that you need money, but it makes your game almost unplayable when you have an ad in between every 10 waves... most people are perfectly happy with optional ads when presented with them, you literally chose to ruin your game with this update. Would be five stars otherwise.

Everything was fine with this game when it came to ads being optional for rolls and a boost in resources if you wanted, but just recently, ads are being forced every 20 waves. And getting far enough into the game, if you reach Wave 200, 500, 1000, thats 10, 25, 50 forced ads that provide nothing other than being in the way and it just gets worse the further you go. Its already a slog to go for high rounds when it comes to how much time it takes. Feels like Im being forced to pay for no ads

I want to give this gsme 5 stars. I even bought the package to remove ads to support it. However, I just spent about an hour getting to the level 340, highest yet, and earned a significant yield of coins. Unfortunately, the game decides to crash when I click the x2 to cash out. Upon reopening the game, those coins are not there. So that's going to leave a sour taste in my mouth for a little bit.

Originally I gave this game a poor review because I did really enjoy it but then they added too many adds during the game and in between rounds. They have since changed it back to there being no ads. The only ads you watch are if you want extra rewards for in-game, which I don't mind at all. This really is an enjoyable game and a great way to pass some time.

As far as the game goes, it's fantastic. Plenty of ways to defend the base, destroy the enemies, advance levels. It's a clean little game. Then the November update hit. What was an enjoyable game with ad boosts became an ad for other games with brief moments of joy. Every 20 levels is too often for unskippable ads that take up a disproportionate amount of time. Hopefully, they'll fix this soon or it'll be just another mobile game that might have been. EDIT: they removed the ads. 5 stars

I rather liked this game. There were optional ads to speed the game up, and the game play was pretty decent! That was, until the 11/7 update. The developers decided to shove forced ads between every 20 rounds, significantly slowing down game play. They even had the nerve to claim the update was to "provide a better experience." If they want players to invest in the no ads option, this is a pretty scummy way to do it.
