Does what it says it does. Good customer service, they reply quickly and are helpful. Its good value, particularly when you can pause an ad. Edit Still the best platform to tent your room. Still great customer service

Poor experience for me. There are many features that probably are better than on other apps, but on some adds I couldn't write a message and contact the owner, which is why I put such a low rate. It said you have to pay at least £12

Great app for finding accommodation, but lacks the option to compare locations with parts of the city you are interested in (or at least I didn't find it). Other than that, I'm very satisfied!

You'll realise there are a lot of time wasters when asking background check questions. Do not renew your add as your add will remain near the bottom despite a 10% discount. Deactivate and then activate. Lack of support or any questions answered by the app is a major concern. Only useful to advertise for 1 week, any longer the risk is at your peril.

The app helps promote people squeezing you into their home as a 'lodger' for the same price, if not more, as regular HMOs, but without any of the rental protection and none of the privacy. Also has a terrible feature where you have to pay £20+ if you want to message any decent adverts

Excellent app. I used this as a current tenant to find a new person to share with and came across some great people, finally filling the space. I love the features of the app, the labels, read messages, filters on searches, and the ability to filter by LGBT specifically was great.

Very easy to use. Help is always available from REAL people. Although I prefer their phoneline help - they are always thorough, friendly and ensure their information is correct. Security seems to be a very high priority - there's plenty of guidence to help you. I found my landlady within 3 hours of putting my room wanted ad on their site. Lastly, their advice to make adverts interesting really works. 'Strictly Come Dancing' found me my lodgings!!! 💃

It used to be great but I have noticed a difference as don't get many messages as I used too unless you pay for bolt ons. Need to look elsewhere now to advertise as been 3 months now

Mostly good experience with the app until the last update for android, it completely broke the map search feature, when you try to search the area you are looking it resizes the map to a bigger or completely different area.

Great place to find a room! I needed a room on short notice and spareroom was the perfect platform to find one. The app made it super easy to connect with people and filter conversations. It only took me a week to find a place and I'm very happy.

I find this platform really useful for finding lodgers due to the profiles you can complete. You can tell a lot from how people present themselves and communicate. The app is easy enough to use.

As I moved to London last week and after living in Airbnb for 8 days, I found my first room on this app. Tip: You must choose an upgrade of at least one week package to get the best out of this app. I did the same and found perfect room for me, that too inside my budget.

App is good and messaging works well however be aware it doesn't post your phone number if you don't pay them, doesn't let you message with prospective flatmates unless you pay them or they pay them or wait 7 days (and maybe they pay them) 🤔 it's a real money spinner either way 🤷🏻♂️

This is very good app I find it very useful I am using it since last 15 years thanks . You also find good tips when you using this app. Give accurate distance, instructions and location. Which are very helpful for students and other people who are new to this vibrant city thanks 😊.

Good app, got a lot of interest quickly. Wasn't especially clear that to contact people at least one of you needs to be premium. But all in all, worth the upgrade

I've used this app years ago too, it was good. Now on the new installation, I'm not able to send messages. It takes forever when I hit send, its stuck on sending mode. If I hit backwards, says "discard message?"Any one can help?
