This App is very useful. Although at times the transcript is 100% accurate. It is normally good enough to get the idea of the voice message. Then you can also listen to the audio message. Saves time ring old voice mail box entering pin & listen to a robotic message saying date, time & number the message is from. 5 stars from me. Saves me a lot of time

It's OK, could do with a few tweaks, but definitely much less hassle than calling the msg centre & then pushing this button & that button etc. etc. 🦋 *Some of the words are a tad muddled, but generally one can understand enuff of the msg to get the gist of it. *Listening to the msg works fine - and definitely an easier, FASTER way to get to it than the old style of calling them. *Only other thing is msgs can take a while to ARRIVE - SMS notify has assisted with the sometimes lengthy wait

Having just installed and tried to start this app - it seems very hard to use. Recording my answer message I got a printout that got my name wrong and the number on which I could be called if I did not respond to the caller in 15 minutes. I hate the dodgy way the app providers make clear in the very complex legal conditions that they were responsible for NOTHING to you. but they themselves were protected if they spy on your messages or allow them to be accessed by all and sundry. I AM OUT!

I like having the voicemail available to view at a time, but often it is incorrectly transcribed. When I need to actually listen to a voicemail I would prefer to hear the most recent one first so that I don't have to sift through all of the unlistened ones. You tend not to listen to them when you can see the transcription, which means to hear one you need to go through months of old ones first

I didn't make it past the License Agreement. It seems Spark wants consumers to use the app so they can collect their information and share it with everyone and anyone. No-liability clauses, no warranty protection, hidden costs, no control of advertising content.... list goes on and on. Basically, use it and take sole responsibility. At least the ugly bits are almost all in capitals. The developer is based in Australia. May try when it's a Kiwi.

OMG this is wonderful! This app solved the pain of dial in voice mail service and manage with the painful old fashion way!! Well done spark!!! I understand the transcript isn't all correct but I can't understand some of the voice messages anyway! 10 out of 5 if I can give that score!

Too easy. It tries to convert text to speech and does a pretty good job of it most of the time. Some people trip it up though. You have the fallback to listen directly to the message though. Great that you have direct access to your voicemail.

This app is really struggling with the speech of many new zealanders, especially the Polynesian new zealanders. I can often guess at what the message is, but very often the transcription does not make sense. You could do better with a New Zealander speaking the model on which the app is based---a tough task indeed!

AI is less than ideal. Missed half of the voicemail, so the transcribe was mix mash of words that didn't flow. Has trouble recognising certain words and even my very common name. At a push I'd say it's only 50% accurate. The UI is nice. Hence the two stars.

I like this app because i can read and hear the message and i have a record of the message. Currently, the translation from voice to text is quite poor. This won't last with technology improving as it is. Once that is sorted it will be an exceptional app. I have rated it with 5 stars because of what it will become

So far so good, the transcriptions are not accurate yet but I guess they will improve in time but the concept of visual voice is awesome. I run a dual SIM phone so it'd be great to have the ability for voicemail of both spark numbers to be displayed. Maybe something the devs can work on?

The voicemail app has turned to poos over the last few weeks. The app won't push through notifications anymore, and they're so slow to load in the app as well. I got a txt notification 10 mins ago about a voicemail, and it still won't show in the app, even after trying to refresh it several times. It's absolute rubbish and is making the app unusable. I need to check my VM now, not wait and wait and wait for the app to finally load it, whenever that may be.

The app is a much more efficient way to check voicemail than the traditional method. The voice transcript is amusing, it's better than when it first launched but still has room for improvement. There's still a few quirks here and there but mostly it's a solid experience.

The app itself works well, certainly a good upgrade from normal voicemail! Well worth it. The voice translation however is poor, especially in comparison to other speech to text services (and please don't reply to this telling me it works well for a "large" number of customers 😂)

Short lived but with potential. I liked being able to see and easily listen to my voice mail. However, the transcription isn't yet that accurate. I did remove as clients leave names and numbers and therefore I'd need to know more about who has access to confidential info. If this was cleared up I would use it simply for the ease of accessing voicemails.

The app works well enough but it would be nice to be able to select/ import pre recorded messages, as I often need to change my voicemail greeting depending on my availability for work, and Spark doesn't give an option for temporary greetings like Vodafone. The way the app records audio is weird- it blanks out my screen like I'm on a phone call when recording which is really annoying as I need to wake the phone to access the app controls. Does it upload on the fly, not record locally then send?

It is great to get a transcript of the voice message sent via both app and email. That way if you are in a meeting you can see if the call is urgent. Sorting through voicemail is so much easier than dialing into a voicemail service as you can just select which message you want to listen to. One area that needs to be improved is the predictive text for the transcript. I have had a few messages which were completely indecipherable

Some good aspects. I like how I can see who's called and manage voice-mail without dialing into the service. The voice to text is hilariously bad. It cuts off the first 10 - 15 seconds of the call and then seems to make up the text for the rest of the call to suit. Quite funny reading the translations.

Disappointed, I used to get a voice message and an email alert but since the changes, there is no voice message on my phone and I am not always able to ring Spark, and sometimes I don't get the email either so my messages are lost...the is very bad for my customer service, and it's embarrassing. I have tried to activate the phone messaging several times but I never get an activation code when I request one. Please Improve.

every. single. time. you. open. the. app. it bloody asks if you want to enable notifications, no, not I do not want to, stop asking. why is this published under random company x instead of sparks own publisher? makes it less trustworthy. find the transcript fairly good, quite a few words wrong on longer messages
