It's okay. Good to block content. But couple of things to improve on that make user experience really bad. It blocks YouTube videos like songs and ect. When you search for something it just won't show. Secondly if you click on a page it just won't load and if you go back it doesn't show you to just goes back to the lagge you were on and off you go to a blocked page you can't go back. Furthermore some pages just load forever and never open like google news articles. It's very Annoying.

Potential is there - hopefully it becomes more flush and gets a more modern feeling to it - please remove the ads you recently added of women in lingerie. That is definitely not what this app stands for as a safe browser while showcasing half naked women.

This browser has severely gone down hill. It blocks pages that shouldn't be blocked. Like hotel pages and restaurant pages. It used to be decent. But it now blocks random pages that have no reason to be blocked. Even some kids pages are blocked because the faulty algorithm finds some word that it doesn't like. And it could be a word that isn't an actual word, it's only a word because it combines 2 words together. I'm finding a new safer browser.

Been having problems with the last update, memory leaks, crashes, very high background battery use (even though the app is set to sleep in the background). I eventually switched to a different browser because Google seems to be getting more passive about their strict search results and I wanted to use a different search engine.

The support team is Simply awesome. Quick, helpful, detailed and just overall more then helpful. I ran into an issue with the newest version because of my Samsung S8 phone and android 8.0. They got it handled for me, and now I have a browser that I can use. By the way, I am Blind and this browser is much easier to use and understand then even Firefox itself. Awesome job!

There is only one complain that i have and that is if you enable Google Search result Fixers add-on and you click on advanced search, you can easily search explicit stuff and that's exactly the opposite of what this browsr is intended to be! Please immediately fix this issue! Overall this browser is by far the best browser i have ever used and i continue to use it

This app annoys me. It's very glitchy. It opens a new tab every time you click on something. For most I would not recommend. But for me, it's exactly what I need. Quite possibly saved my life. It is the absolute best porn blocking browser I have found, the only one that I have not been able to find porn on. Struggled with porn addiction and since I downloaded this app and blocked all other browsers I have been porn free. Thank you Spin. I'll gladly take the glitches over being able to accessporn

This app at first was exactly what I had been looling for, something that blocked out explicit search results. Though there were times I couldnt enter a website I needed to, I was still satisfied with this app. However, recently I've been experiencing issues when it comes to trying to enter websites. Every time I click on a link to a website, it doesnt allow me to enter, it will only stay on the search browser. I am able to use the search browser just cant view websites on it (still not fixed)

This could easily be the best browser. Manage Spin has some amazing options. The problem is it seems to work fine for a few days when you first install it, then it lags. Sometimes it even crashes. You lose all your browsing tabs. It has no back button, which is a weird safe browsing feature. It will exit out of one tab while you are browsing in another tab. It wont allow you to open web pages in other apps like gmail, reddit or even messenger sometimes. They can fix these issues and be the best.

This app has been fantastic-- the first I've found to that's actually effective at blocking inappropriate sites. It also allows you to update the list of blocked sites, all with an accountability partner option to prevent uninstalling, which is often the Achilles heel of these apps. The new update has also brought some great features like safe Chrome browsing and monitoring for how long you use certain apps. It's also closed a big loophole I used to use to access the Samsung browser. Great app!

Provided you have the correct settings and filters via the Boomerang app, the browser does its job the vast majority of the time in filtering out unwanted content. However, the browser is subpar in terms of stability and performance versus at least some of the big name browsers.

Works mostly well. Had to uninstall/reinstall in order for it to update (couldn't update for a month or two) but lost all, tabs, saved passwords, etc. It's based on Firefox so you get add-ons like uBlock Origin, etc. However, there is no way to back up your browser data like bookmarks, passwords, tabs, etc or mice them to a new device.

I would give it 5 stars, a nice browser with tons of customization features (incl. editing log ins). I set my home page as Top SItes. But there is NO icon to access the home page directly!!! Have to go to the menu tap Bookmarks and then tap Top Sites. Also, on the Top Sites page, some show the actual site icons, others just a letter on a solid color background. No way to change that, looks unappealing. It is noticeably slower than others, perhaps because of its blocking design. An exit button would be also helpful. Found a workaround for home page, changed to 5 stars. In Setting select "also use (homepage) for new tabs". Then just tap the '+' to open a new bookmark and it opens as home page. PS. Thank you for the add'l tip. It is great to see the developer responding to comments. This gives the user the encouragement to commit to the browser.

This is a good internet browser, but after a few days of using it it's now only crashing. I've tried to uninstall it, clear caches, updates and all. Nothing is working, it continues to crash as soon as I reinstall it. As soon as I press the app icon, instantly crashes. It is a good browser otherwise, I just can't recommend it or give it high stars due to this.

I love what this browser is meant to do, and it is great when it works. The problem is that it hasn't been lately. It is crashing every day and I constantly need to uninstall it and reinstall it. I will search something and it does nothing. I get blank white pages and no sign of it loading. This is incredibly disappointing. Update: I have found that clearing storage (not cookies!) will get it running again. Still not ideal, but better than nothing.

Absolutely works! Have the peace of mind knowing you can't access any adult content, and if you do then the Spin team is one email away from blocking the troubling URL! However, the Spin browser suffers from bugs. It crashes, especially when too many tabs are open, and if you close any tabs before closing the browser, the browser will reopen all of your closed tabs the next time you open the browser. Going back to edit text in the browser results in random text placement and erasure of previous.

Spin Browser has been an excellent tool in limiting the type of content I can access on my phone for years. However recently, I've noticed that it allows ads such as in the tab manager window. For me, it's been the same add essentially for women's swimwear etc. Not helpful. Totally antithetical to what I thought the app was about. Can't the types of ads be limited to something not like that? Or better yet: don't do ads like previous years.
