They removed one of the best features of the app! It used to let you easily see additional dates and prices once search was entered. Changed a bit over the years, but still was able to do. Now you have to go back to beginning and search every date individually...bad move. I would go through the trouble if airline was still a deep discount, but it is not.

I love Spirit the airline. Service, schedule, price and availability have been great in the years that I have used it. This app though can really use some tender care. Once I sign in, my upcoming flight is not prepopulated. I still have to look up my flight confirmation. Once I did that, checking in and it will check on my completed leg. That's two bad things. Check in again and the boarding pass won't have the barcode. Had to go back to their website on a computer and hit the print button. Sigh

"Please wait" is the only thing you'll see when trying to get your boarding pass. It's. Slow. As. F. It also gave a weird error when trying to check in with confusing verbiage, and the closest I can get to making sense of it was that I owed them money? I had to check in on the web site and then let it hit their servers for about 30 minutes for it to show my boarding passes on this app.

When I try to book flights the app let's me input the dates and destination. Afterwards, it doesn't load any of the flights. I have to go to the internet to look up and book flights. I deleted and downloaded the app and it still does not work. 5/25/23 I'm still having the same issue. I'm not able to book with the APP. It's great for viewing my flights and boarding passes. That's it. I'm unsure of what to do at this point. 1/26/2024 I'm still unable to complete a booking via the APP. Same issue

This app is very unstable. It is always slow to load, and sometimes it won't load at all. It's not uncommon for it to freeze after you have started to use it, which is very problematic when you are at the gate attempting to recall your boarding pass. You simply can't trust it. Booking reservations is also frustrating. You can't enter promo codes, and it often doesn't offer the same fares (or even all the same flights) as the full web site - which is also notoriously unreliable.

This app doesn't always load things properly, like your BOARDING PASS, when you need it. It doesn't let you easily check in for your flight without giving error messages or asking you *again* if you want to pay for additional services, even if you have already paid for them. It feels extremely unreliable and created more stress than convenience.

Terrible app, I can't even complete flight check-in. I am currently at home, connected to wifi and the app stalls on every screen. I have been trying to check in for 30 min. Everything else on my device is working fine, this app is horrible and cannot complete one of the most important functions for an airline app (checking in for your flight). I would give it 0 stars if I could.

This isn't the place to report bugs, but the app won't let me do that either, so I guess i have no choice. Anyways, with the most recent update, the boarding pass page cuts off the bottom portion of the QR code for the boarding pass, rendering it useless...and also rendering the app almost completely useless for my purposes. At least I'm still able to check in on it. That, and fix the Help page(s). Otherwise, the app is actually pretty smooth and easy to use.

App crashes and needs to be reloaded every time the screen locks or you switch back to it from a different app. I have no issue with them as an airline - the prices are great. But their IT systems seem subpar. Also, if my flight is associated with my frequent flyer number, and I'm logged into my account, why do I need to manually add the flight?

The app was fine at first until the recent update. Now, I can't even open the app at all. It just stay that the yellow screen with the Spirit plane on it. Even when I try to check in online as opposed to my app, it keep sending me back to the app that won't open. It's been like this (stuck) all day. It's a horrible inconvenience as I am trying to check in to my flight. I thankfully was near a laptop with WiFi to check in that way, I would've been SOOL if I wasn't.

App wouldn't let me finish checking in, so I checked in online. Every time I've opened the app, I've turned on the flight notification toggle, yet it won't work and shows that I haven't turned it on. Finally, after I was checked in, Evey time I tried to bring up my boarding pass, even though it showed me checked in, I get a red error message saying 'null.' Do better.

1) I had to change my password to fit the new Regex scheme. Which meant I originally could not login until I did so. 2) The app successfully pulls in the trip data and when go to check-in it immediately crashes. 3) There is another version of the app that is completely useless and so please delete it so people are not confused as to why there are two different apps. 4) Take cue from the Apple version of the app as it works in allowing a full check-in. The Android version is disapointing.

worst app ever! The boarding pass bar code doesnt show completely, only half way. I requested it via email originally, never got it after four attempts. Downloaded the app doesnt work for boarding pass either. Crappy airline from beginning to end. You have to pay extra for everything even carry on bag. First time and last time with this airline. Will keep traveling with American Airlines.

Not only is this hands down the worst airline app I have used, it is one of the overall worst app experiences I have ever had. Crashed constantly, either greatly delayed or did not bring up boarding pass at all, no option to download your boarding pass to your phone, does not show you flights you have booked even if you are logged in, so you have to keep looking up your freakin' flight. I haven't printed a boarding pass in years, but one time using this app and I printed one for my return flight

when i select my flight boarding pass, the bottom of the pass is cut off. looks like there should either be a scroll option or better formatting for my device. I'm not sure this mobile pass shows the full QR code. Please fix. This is the most important feature for me. i hate printing boarding passes, especially when it costs extra money to print at the airport when flying Spirit.

NEVER works! I downloaded this app because I fly Spirit quite a bit. It sucks! It never open. You constantly get the circle of death that just keeps spinning. Or, it just stops. I've not once been able to use the app for anyting. I finally just removed the app. I can use that memory for something that works. I'll stick with logging in on a computer.

Unsurprisingly for one of, if not the worst airline in the USA, their app is just as terrible as the airplanes, service, ridiculous fees and charges, and God forbid a plane ever leaves on time or lands on time. The app crashes and receives "unexpected errors" constantly. Usually when you are trying to load your boarding pass. Just the absolute worst all around.

The app is not a user friendly platform. To edit any details for a flight reservation, you are required to start over versus just selecting the information that requires the edit. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a larger scope of flight selection for price comparison. you are unable to see that via the app. recommend mirroring Google's platform

There is always a problem with these people, I have traveled with them a couple of times in the past, and every single time, there would be at least one thing going wrong with either the airline or the app. Either the flights get delayed to unacceptable levels or the app has some random issue, such as not loading the code for your boarding pass. I have almost missed my flight in the past because of their app not showing the proper information or not letting you access it whatsoever.

I would've probably given it the full 5 stars, but it lacks the ability to add the flight to my calendar; I have to go to the Spirit website to have this ability. Also, the app can be a bit glitchy at times when clicking links and buttons. It just takes extra patience to deal with it but I eventually get where I'm needed in the app.
