Fixed and working better than ever! No sound or screen bugs and runs faster than my 3DS could have ever hoped. Thank you capcom đ! A bit sad that your support team was so unhelpful and basically sent me a 'sux 4 u' when I asked them for help. Don't wanna lower my rating though cos I want everyone to experience this game at least once!

Great port of the game, but the sound effect volume decreases automatically when there is just a single sound playing. The issue isn't there if there are 2 sound effects at the same time, or when there's a sound effect and in-game music playing.

There is an unfixed bug for phones with certain resolutions that cut off a significant amount of the screen. This is odd considering every other game i have played in this series does not have this issue. This version has received no version updates since release, so i doubt it will ever be fixed.

Great Ace Attorney game with global plot. New court mechanics elements (seance/insight) are interesting and refreshing. Chapter selection is cool. I'm glad all locations are available for exploration again, unlike in Dual Destinies. Once in 4th episode the background pictures/characters animations went all black in both saves. The game also crashed a couple of times at cutscenes starts.

This is one of my favorite series in gaming of all time. However I tried to load my game and the picture goes black, the characters don't appear, only the speech box appears and the options on the sides and corners. I'd love to give a higher rating if this can be resolved, I have a screenshot of necessary

No way to adjust aspect ratio, and since updating my phone the display has shifted completely to the side to the point I can no longer access the court record button. When (if) this gets fixed I will pick back up again. Would otherwise recommend to someone without a wide-screen phone.

I tire of this franchise continuously bringing in new characters that are progressively less subtle, poorly written and dislikeable, with repeatative, cheesy lines and an character arc so inconceivable it borders on ridiculous. I'm a fan of the series for its stories and character development - I want to see more of the characters we all all actually fell in love with in the first place. I feel like we still barely know them.

Loved the game overall, the trials were unique and the new insight mechanic is definitely a welcome addition. Good story (although at times feels forcibly stretched), good characters, and good gameplay. 2 major complaints exist however: -Both this game and Dual Destinies for some reason stop producing sound when using headphones starting from the final cutscene. -Unavailable DLC episode (namely turnabout time traveler)

The game won't save for me. It's been really frustrating, as I played through a good chunk of the first case only to find that I couldn't continue it on the main menu. Edit: for some reason, the refund button didn't work. That's even more aggravating. I basically paid for a useless game. I tried playing though the first case again, and I went further than before, but to didn't save! I feel scammed.

No technical issues and the story was in my opinion the most captivating one yet, having played all previous titles. The main weakness of this and other Ace Attorney entries is the inflexible contradiction submission system, where contradictions spanning across potentially multiple pieces of evidence and have no apparent order of relevance need to be pointed out in a fixed order and using only one particular piece of the applicable evidence. Nonetheless, the amazing animations and story prevail.

Unplayable on Google Pixel 2 XL. The display is moved about a centimeter to the right so that elements on the far right of the screen i.e. the Court Record are invisible. Everything else works fine. I don't see why Capcom can't fix this as the display was perfect on Dual Destinies. All someone has to do is shift the display over to the left. I can only chalk it up to laziness.

Game requires an internet connection to run. I was on a 32 hour flight + layovers followed by a 2 week vacation with sparse internet; the perfect opportunities to play a story based mobile game and couldn't get a single minute of gameplay because of this idiotic restriction. Makes the game literally unplayable in situations where mobile games shine the most.

A great entry in a great series. Absolutely play if you're a fan of the Ace Attorney series. One of the smoothest and most polished entries yet. However, if this is your first Ace Attorney game, I'd probably start with the original Trilogy or some of the other games before diving into this one. Some things in this game, are better experienced by someone already familiar with the characters and setting. Also contains certain unavoidable spoilers for previous games, which you may want to go play

3.5 stars. Not great, not terrible. I like the story, and the characters are amusing, but a lot of the cases and evidence required guesswork instead of deduction. I had to do a lot of save scumming when none of the evidence made any sense. It was "present - wrong - move to the next IDK." The series has long been hit or miss on this, but several previous games did it better. The insight system also works better in theory than in practice. Also mad I couldn't play offline on a 12 hour flight.

Other than a few technical issues like the screen not fitting my phone at first and some text skip issues where it would skip messages without me even touching the screen, this was a very fun, and may I say different entry in the Ace Attorney series. The sprites are more expressive and polished than Dual Destinies, and the story arcs broke away from the Ace Attorney norm while still keeping close to home. Definitely worth the price tag if you're a fan of the series looking to get the next entry.

Important thing first: For those with display issues, make sure you check the settings on your phone! I use the Essential PH-1, and changing the developer setting to use the notch area fixes the game. There's a big useless area on the left side, but no buttons or gameplay runs off the right side of the screen now. As for the game itself, I like it. Not as good as the first trilogy. Pretty good way to end the current trilogy. Can't decide if this ties with Apollo Justice for best in this trilogy. Great to see Maya return.

Solid port of the 3DS game. Includes all the original content plus the DLC. Didn't have any technical issues on my Galaxy Note 8. Game saves on suspend so you don't lose progress and has cloud save with Google login. Not my favorite in the series (case 4 is pretty blah), but a solid entry none the less. $20 is pretty steep for mobile, I think $10-15 would be more fair, but the game is quality, so I can't complain too much.

As stated by others, this game has a couple of deal-breaking issues. The first is that it requires an internet connection to run. This is completely stupid since the game is a single-player visual novel and has no online function other than DLC cases. I bought it to play on a plane flight, so that makes it useless to me. The other is it's impossible to play on a 18:9 screen because the menu button is literally off-screen. I'll have to buy a 2DS, I guess.

I also have an 18:9 screen (Pixel 2 XL). Cutting off the right side of the screen absolutely needs to be fixed. However, the game IS still playable. The court record can be accessed by touching the very top right of the screen, even though you can't see the button. Try a couple times if it doesn't work on first try. Otherwise, graphics and game are great. Dev should update.

UPDATE: the issue was fixed!! Overall, this game is probably my favorite out of the series, and I don't say that lightly. Great mechanics, fun story, and with the exception of one chapter (cough 4 cough) all very memorable and amazing cases. Cannot recommend this game highly enough!!! Doesn't work for 18:9 displays! It complete cuts off the right side of the screen, making the game unusable. Please fix!!!
