Good app, but there's one consistent problem I have that needs a fix. When I go into the "one time change" section, it turns into a loading screen and I have to completely close out the app and start over. I have a weekly alternating schedule, so it would be nice to be able to set my days either biweekly or monthly, rather than just one week and then go in and edit each and every week. Other than that, I do love everything else about the app.

Square is a great app, but there was a period when the square assistant did not send notifications only via email .I had to manually send out reminders to my clients. The square assistant said the client opted out to receive text messages when, in fact, I knew that was not true! It seemed like the system defaulted this way as a cover-up, due to not functionally properly. It was an inconvenience, and the only issue I had so far. It appears to be working now.

I've been using this app for a few years. great overall. couple things I don't like. I wish I could customize my confirmation messages, I don't like if an appointment moves it auto confirms, there have been issues since starting with being able to clock in and anyone who has iphones has issues with the app. (maps, invoices, clocking in) I think if those things were changed it would be great

Pretty decent app, easy booking. I wish it had a better note section for stylists, even possible photos for profiles, would be super helpful for stylists! I hate that it's really hard to double book on it though. So sometimes that's a little confusing to me or a client if I can fit in a cut while they're processing. A little tweaks and it would be amazing!

Square was awesome when I first started using it. Now, it has changed tremendously to one of the worst apps ever! Square erased all of my past present and recent appointments. I am also experiencing difficulty with square equipment. I've tried to contact them, but all I keep getting is direction on fixing the problem. Hopefully, they will contact me personally to resolve the issues.

Pretty good scheduling app. I use it because it gives people reminders. I wish it was easier to connect to customer service and tech support. I spent a long time trying to find a phone number to connect to someone when my reader wasn't working. Working in a customer profile, it takes you back to the main screen rather than profile. When you tap on a day to make an appt it starts you with a completely random date and time from that week rather than the block you selected. Not glitchy though.

I love the ease of navigation and the convenience of the app, making appointments and checking clients out all in one place. However, the the appointment reminder feature is terrible. Half the time my clients do not receive a reminder text or email about their appointment, and other times it comes one hour before their appointment time. It is incredibly inconsistent, and has caused me to lose out on a few appointments.

It works, but they'll get you in and then browbeat you for more $. I've used this app to manage appointments for years, and suddenly they decided to leverage a monthly subscription fee on top of taking a % of transactions in fees. I opted not to "upgrade" (even though there's nothing new). Now it's nerfed my calendar full of appointments for May/June that were booked way before any of this. And I don't want to hear it about "inflation." These companies are making record profits.

I can't believe they only gave you 500 characters. Nonsense. PRO : online booking. CON everything else. Cannot upload images and save them with appointments. You will constantly lose all of your minutes upon minutes of work because of the poorly designed UI which makes it confusing to save things. It needs to constantly connect to GPS even though it does not autofill the address for you. Clunky. If you save a client you cannot edit the client's info after the fact.

I love that I don't have to go into dashboard to create an appointment every time and that I can view it from this app as well as from my Google calendar (they sync perfectly). However, it always populates the location as "my business location" and it will not let me change it to the "client's location" in this app. I have to do it from the dashboard, that is very frustrating for me because all my appointments are at a client's location.

Such a mixed bag. The last few updates have brought in the waitlist feature, which is quite nice, but have taken away the ability to connect a Pixel Slate to the NFC reader (which killed a beautiful check out experience) as well as the link from a customer's phone number to send an SMS. They want us to use the built in message system, but it's missing almost every feature of modern SMS clients. The new Tap to Pay option is buggy, too, often requiring multiple attempts.

Was great at first. Free was nice! But, the past few months, scheduled appointments don't show up on the calendar, causing double booking. It randomly won't load my clients in the list. The app crashes 2-3 times a week and I have to "force stop" the app and restart it. Which is very inconvenient when I'm busy. As of now, the servers have been down for HOURS! In the middle of my work day. As soon as it's back up it will only be opened to copy my clients and phone numbers then UNINSTALLED!

It started off as a great app, but now they will nickel & dime you for every specific function (wait list, custom reminders etc), despite booking fees as high as any other payment processing service. Their app has also become clunky. For the 2nd time in 6 months, the phone app will show completely wrong availability for our staff, despite changes being made on the desktop version causing confusion. (It's more efficient to update staff members' availability on the desktop vs phone app).

Great, but no 'bulk time-slot' discount, then book function, (like Appointments-Plus). You can set it up so customers can pre-pay before being able to book their time with you, and this syncs well w Square Invoice, but it kills me you can't offer package discounts--then book. For example, say a Hair Salon charges $50/cut, but wants to offer pre-paid discount packages (buy 3 for $140, 4 for $185, etc.), Square can't do this, like Appointments-Plus can. That's the only thing missing from Square.

I usually love this app, but for what ever the deal is i want to start finding a different business app. I am trying to access my app to set and send appt reminders, and the Square App keeps kicking me off with a message stating the app has a bug and is waiting on the developer to fix issues. My business now has to be placed on hold due to this issue.. this is too many appts to confirm and make by hand.

Bugs on bugs on bugs recently. The app worked fine for a while, but the last few updates made something go wrong every time. Now, it won't even let me open the app and use it because guess what- it says there's a bug and won't work until they release a fixed update. This hurts my business and has added more stress

The square app is updated on both of my phones but keeps glitching out. I've tried all the trouble shooting options and nothing has worked. I have full days of clients coming up. And work Monday- Saturday. I need to be able to take payments and see the clients coming in and their services. This isn't the first time square has had serious issues. When it glitches out it says the provider needs to fix a bug in order for me to re update it for it to run smoothly. It won't even let me relog in.

We integrated the flow into our Instagram account. It's extremely counter-intuitive. None of the people we tested it on could figure out right away how to book an appointment. It just shows plain text with no action button or anything. It's impossible to tell it's trappable. Whoever designed it is ignorant of basic UX principles. We are taking payments though Square, but we'll be looking for another service for appointments.

continually takes away my ability to open client profiles from the appointment. Clients I've never communicated with any other way than texting, suddenly I can't text them anymore and then it tries to push me to purchase messaging, I thought that was what we were already paying for, but no now it's a whole new add on you have to purchase. they are using the fact that they are one of very few applications like this to money gouge customers by making every option a cost.

Love the app. The entire service is been so great. Easy setup, user-friendly with options. There is always something new that I find that helps me run my mobile video gaming business. Overall, the square has been the best option for me. I've looked at others time to time over the years. Just to see the difference. Hands down square and square appointment apps has the best setup and options. Easy setup and integration to my company website. Customers can book all appointments themselves.
