The shop I frequent uses Squire for appointments and payments through a web portal is fine. However the need arises that an appointment needs to be cancelled and I was only able to do that through the mobile app, and not from the web portal. This is a hassle and unnecessary step. I don't need another app on my phone for just one purpose.

Great for booking my haircut, and even better that I can book multiple in advance. There doesn't seem to be a way to delete old cards though, that I can see, and that's kind of a pet peeve for me. Others may and probably don't care, but really, that seems to be the only negative for me so far

very easy to book multiple appointments with my barber, as well as to adjust if needed. not a huge fan of the booking surcharge (~5%), other booking apps (e.g. restaurant ones), don't require this

Needs some work. Rescheduling for a new/future appointment is painful and tedious. Not seeing where I could create a favorite list. I have to search for the business every time I want to schedule an appointment. Super tedious. Please correct this issue. Thank you.

Honestly it's amazing that the app reminds me when my next appointment should be based on my previous appointment history. 12/10 do recommend

Would give it a much higher rating if when you book through the app you could choose to pay in person. Currently if you book through the app you will have to pay immediately, even if your appointment is a month away. I ended up having to call the store to get my appointment booked and not have to pay up front. I will be deleting the app as it is not helpful and speaking to a human is good practice these days.

The system still needs work. It DOESN'T VERIFY email addresses or phone numbers so I've gotten fake appointments before or I've had to contact the client with the wrong information due to typo and even after talking to customer service about it, they simply just said they don't have that feature. Please add a verification system to avoid this problem. The user experience for scrolling to find available times on the barber end is also not efficient

I booked with a company that doesn't even use the app.i was charged and the only way to communicate is through email that you get no response from. do not use

My card is always charged before the service I get which is wrong! And there is no way to change it. What happens when they dont do the service and my card is still charged? Deleted my account because of it.

Numerous issues with non receipt of the verification text. I did flag to the Squire team via DM but never heard back from the technical support team. Managed to resolve the issue myself after several registration attempts by using an alternative number, so perhaps it's a delivery issue with certain network operators? Seems to be a common problem though. Initial use of the app was okay however it now doesn't open and just shows as Failed to Connect and has done so for a few days.

Terrible terrible terrible. Used this to book an appointment, seemed to work fine. I got there and the payment went through afterwards automatically. I then tried to tip, but got an error and couldnt tip. I tried numerous times and different days, still can't tip... Asked for my account to be deleted...they insist that its deleted but I can still login and they have all my info. Also don't receive any login texts from them... These guys do not know how to code...dont trust them with any info!

only using app coz my barber is on it, otherwise I wouldn't be using it. so I guess it's worth it ha!! 5 stars is just for convenience, other then that!! it's just a app!!

Justin and his team have created an environment that is inviting and an enjoyment for all age groups. He is great at figuring out together what works for each face type and what his clients want. I suggest going to see him and you will know exactly what I am saying

Calendar bugs- doesnt show correct days. Clients have difficulty booking online- many report trying to book the appointment 4 or 5 times before it confirms and requires credit card. Failed reciept sending to emails. Honestly tried to give it my best and there are things I like about it as well. Overall causing more issues and irritated phone calls.

The app keeps crashing when trying to view an appointment. I sent screenshots and step by step explanation of the behaviour to support. They asked in return for a video recording of the steps on my phone.. The screenshots with a detailed explanation should be enough for them to understand the problem. Update: They fixed the issue. Changing my review to 4 🌟

It's easy to interface with I've never had an accidental charge and the best thing about this is it gives you a reminder when you may want to plan for your next haircut as it bases off of how often you do it and it's right on with me. My Barber fills up quickly so it's a nice feature/reminder to have.

Really slick experience that helped me to discover a barbershop near me after I moved to Oakland. I was a little concerned about finding a new barber after COVID, but the Squire app made it very easy to find a great fit in terms of distance, services offered, barbers and their available times, and more. I especially loved how easy it was to add to my calendar (critical for me!), but I was also able to pay and tip in advance. This is the kind of smooth and effortless booking experience I'm looking for in all services! I'm looking forward to my next cut.

Charges fees to use. There is no option to book online anymore. You are forced to use the app and prepay. It will charge you an hour before the appointment and you are charged a fee just to use the app to book the appointment, I'm sure the Barbers are charged a fee to use it in the first place. Barbers need to stop using this service that is a major inconvenience to their customers. I want to pay with cash so there are no fees paid and my barber gets all the money I paid them.

Excellent tool to book my haircut with my barber and pay for it in advance (including tip!) without worrying about paying at the barbershop. BTW, they don't apply the charge until after the cut. Also, the app allows me to cancel and reschedule my appointment if necessary as close as up to one hour of the appointment time. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Squire app!

I use this app to make appointments for a haircut at my barbershop. You are able to pay at the time of booking (including tip!), and I love the feature that it tracks how often you get your haircuts. If you're like me, I will forget, at times, to book my next appointment. When I do, the app notifies me about 3 or 4 days before my hair should be cut , so I should make an appointment. Very convenient!
