I don't know if it's just me but I just updated the app and it's utterly useless. I have been trying to log in relentlessly to no avail. I have also tried using USSD but guess what? Nothing. Keeps saying my username is wrong through the app and when I try to retrieve it, it says I didn't sign up for security questions. Like where was that option when I opened this account years ago? I need my funds but can't access and you guys did not have the decency to tell us if there is an issue beforehand.

This APP upgrade is the worst ever done in history of human kind. Its like its been developed by RUTO. This APP must GO! First of all, login and access levels is easy to break through. I wrote a suggestion that Homepage Login should begin the password level, the you proceed to pass code which should generate an OTP, then for transactions, you should input a pass code and an OTP. Also, for layout, balance should require a passcode. Also, mobile payments module should access contacts.

If I could give this app and the bank a review, it would be a zero, they had a functional app that they just had to "update". With this new app, expect nothing but problems, constantly down. I cannot even view my statements anymore. With the banking institution, expect a similar experience. Given the chance, I probably would not go for Stanbic again.

This upgrade has to be the worst mistake the bank did. App keeps crashing. Unreliable especially if one is in an emergency situation. I had no issues with the older application. Nevrr crashed on me ever. Something needs to be done quickly.

This app upgrade is awful! Keeps giving OTP no response. Basically its frustrating . Not working at all! Got stranded as I had to do an urgent transaction. The older version was working perfectly. Make it better otherwise no need of mobile banking using this app. I don't recommend it at all.

The new app is a scam! I keep getting an error that my app is locked. You need like 5 otps just for a single transaction and the interface is PATHETIC. I am forced to use an USSD to transfer money to more user friendly banks. Its even a bigger shame how much the stanbic customer service has detoriated. You can be waiting for your call to be picked for over 20 minutes. Even if they remove the locked status, the minute you log out, they lock you out. Alert us when you are ready to be stanbic again

This is the worst. The previous update was slow but got the job don. In this new one, I cant access my account. First it appeared and needed me to sign in( I did not know I was singed out or logged out) upon signing in it kept loading at first then it said both my username and oassword are invalid. Like do I not even know my name? I tried to opt to "forgot your credentials" still nothing. This app is frustrating so damn much👎👎

Terrible services. The app itself doesn't allow one to access their account or sign up to their updated version... Poor customer service experience. Placed on hold for more than 35mins in four different occasions. Online banking no longer working as well.. Basically no means of accessing your funds. Big disappointment.

It's so inefficient and frustrating. This new app is worse then the previous one. It doesn't even load my accounts. So disappointing especially when trying to use it for payments. Also, their customer service number is out of service. Is that even heard of especially for a bank? I've not accessed my account for a week now. I keep on uninstalling and installing

2024 Edit: so the new App has an upgrade. Well. Just worse than what was there before. So hard to use. User interface isn't pleasant. And of course, yet another username and password that I must remember. It was broken, they tried to fixed it, came out worse. 2 stars. 2019 review: App does not work. Repeatedly gives Error message upon installation "the service is currently unavailable". 0/5 Not recommended

App stopped working after upgrading to Android 12. Please address this quickly. Update: An update was released late January but didn't fix the Android issue for my device. It took the next release for things to get fixed. The app is okay, works well and love that there is now self registration. But it's not really acceptable to have users on new Android version stay months without service. The team needs to be on top of things next time.

I have been your client since 2019. The previous version of your app was perfect but in your wisdom you updated it. This is currently the most disappointing app on my phone. Initially my accounts were not visible, I couldn't even send money to my mpesa. This was sorted after calling customer care and they sorted it the next day. Surprise surprise today I have gotten an error message that it is unable to verify OTP. This is very very disappointing especially since I have an urgent transaction.

Nothing new in terms of features and functionality, just different arrangement of menus and formatting. The app has also encountered quite a degree of instability. Was expecting much more. Not great that it's landing page is account balance, even if this can be toggled to blur.

The new app has nothing on the previous one it take too long to load and different functions are not working at all it's really frustrating the previous one was so much easier and fast I sometimes have to result to the ussd code. Change is good but please do better on this for more convenience and less frustration

The new app upgrade UI is really off. Account Balance showing almost every other place with VERY big fonts. Someone dont even feel safe to use the application in a public place, the previous version, it could even hide the balance and only show when you want. Now this, even on MPESA transfer, it shows balance. That's so inconsiderate

Hi, I appreciate your push to upgrade the app but comparing it to the older version, the new version is awful. Alot of navigation to access what you need Sending Mpesa to contacts is too complicated. Bank balances are visible when you open the account. The first page is too blank. It's just not user friendly. Kindly do something about it.

This app just got worse with the new upgrade. On every login attempt, to have to give permission to read SMS, which is annoying, why not just set it up once and forget about it. For the past 2 days I've been stuck at the otp verification failing yet Im allowing permission..... Those are just a few issues, the previous version was better I many ways!!!

The previous app was easier to make mpesa transactions cause contacts were available on the app, the otp delays and sending wrong otps is really inconveniencing. You send money and it'll take a while to get through to your mpesa, and I understand the numerous steps they're taking to ensure someone sent money to the correct person, but they have also removed the pop up confirming the person you are sending money to. Customer service, 15 mins before speaking, really!!!!!!!

The new interface of the App looks great but the functionality it's where it draws the line... Some functions are not working even after the current update when you click on them they just phase out no pop up nothing. The new app has a long way to go if it has to reach the level of the previous one... Until that time it's so frustrating using it.

I was logged out of my account after installing the latest update (June 24 2024). I tried logging in with my Internet Banking credentials which did not work. I went through the Sign Up process and was able to login. It took a few minutes for my accounts to appear. Manage your devices sends an OTP but the page doesn't complete loading.
