Each time I ipe the app, it forces me to update. When i click update, it only gives the option to open app. This app has neverreally worked properly. Im uninstalling.

Used to work fine but now it won't let me sign in. I type in my email, it goes to the full login screen, and then when I go to type the rest it just goes to the previous screen.

This app will not load. It makes you download and reinstall it every time, only to get a blank screen every time. So frustrating.

Staple App loads so small on screen you cannot view anything. Too much work. Was better prior to update. I have ununstalled and reinstalled and same issue. This impacts my. Purchasing from staples online

Randomly signed me out (for no reason) and now, No matter HOW MANY TIMES I REINSTALL AND CLEAR DATA, the sign in screen won't progress. I click sign in after putting the password, the button has the loading icon, then it goes back to "Sign in". Nothing will move it forward.

Got the app in the store yesterday with the help of 2 employees. This app has not opened other than to show a blank white screen, despite uninstalling and reinstalling several times, switching between using wifi and data, and restarting my phone.

I think this app's substandard quality is by design. At this point, it must be a feature. This most recent app is a deformed repeat of previous reward apps (that had worked better) and I wonder if the company wondered, "Hmmm. This works great -- let's eff it up! Lolz." Every time an old app was abandoned, you would lose rewards. Not $10. I'm talking hundreds of dollars. I'm disappointed in this app and now it's no mystery why few customers actually use it. Tragic.

I normally don't review apps, but Staples latest update leaves me little choice. Every dawn time I open the app, it asks me to allow notifications, even though I say no. It doesn't save/respect my choice. Then it asks questions about why I use the app, which I don't want to answer. IF Staples wants me to order from Amazon instead, leave the app like this. If they don't want to lose my business, keep doing this.

I am a Staples associate and helping customers with the app is the most frustrating experience. Prior to the most recent update, helping customers sign up was easy but if their rewards account was really old you couldn't link their rewards. Some customers the app just never ever loaded past the loading screen so the app was basically useless to them. This recent update broke the app horribly and has made it impossible for customers to sign up.

Bad app asks change password, discounts disappear I did a recycling, it's supposed to offer $10 ... Hasn't shown up in the app. I had a 5$ off reward and that randomly disappeared when I redid the password. It asked me to do the password and I had to do it twice because of some random error. I don't understand why the experience is so bad.

UPDATE: I'm unsure why but eventually it installed and works. But it took 30 mins to fix this. /// I'm a Staples associate. Got an email pitching the "single standardized password for site and app" situation so I thought why not. Well, now it's broken. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and I just keep getting sent to the "looks like you don't have the latest version of the app" screen. I can't get past it. It loops. How am I going to use my recycling reward or recommend this to a customer?

Have had the app since it came out with no issues. This most recent update has rendered it unusable. After being prompted to update the app, it won't open and is in an endless loop of prompting me to update. Uninstalled it, restarted the phone, reinstalled, and had the same problem. I can't access my accrued balance. This is terrible timing, at the beginning of the school year when I'm purchasing for my classroom!

This was obviously rushed to launch for Staples' fiscal '24 and clearly did not go through a long enough QC and debugging phase. Constantly hangs up, re-requests already approved or denied permissions (location, notifications) and is currently signing me out every time I close it whereas it would previously keep you logged in if opened on the same device. Edit: Dropped from 3 to 2 stars as it now no longer loads the Easy Rewards dashboard even after clearing cache and data and reinstalling.

The most recent update is GABAGE! Before the most recent update (today is 2/9/24) LOVED the staples connect app. I'm a biz owner & used it a ton for points & coupons. New app user interface is abysmal. Staples, FIRE whoever came up with the new rewards program. It is the worst change to an app/rewards program I have ever seen. Difficult to access coupons & points compared to before which WAS simple. me and the store associates weren't able to even find my coupon I had literally just had up.

This web shell of an app is next to useless. In its present state, all it's good for is browsing products. When it comes to anything to do with purchasing an item, the buttons for filling out forms or any action items don't work properly. I was forced to go to my web browser to actually make a purchase because this "app" refused to take my card info. Poor quality control and testing.

Completely useless compared to the previous version. The latest "update" requires creating an account just to open the app. No thank you! It repeatedly prompts me to install the update that it just installed. That makes it unusable. I wish that I could revert to the previous version. I used to check prices before going to the store. Now I won't even bother going to the local store.

Can't delete a very old address on my account. So I try to edit it to my current address but whenever the cursor is in the data entry field, up pops up my rewards card. The only way to enter something is by typing it outside of the app and then cut & paste to the data entry field in the app. If you put the cursor there w/o the paste prompt icon to tap on then the rewards card will pop up and you can't enter anything. It's very frustrating. I'll just order online instead of using the app.

When I Installed the updated app I was only able to use it time. When I tried to shop again, the keyboard on my phone kept going up and down, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it 2 times but it did the same thing. I think I'm not going to reinstall it until I see that the app have improved. I am a frequent shopper. I am very disappointed 😧

It's terrible I can never get signed In. Everytime u click on the app I have u have to download again. It's hit or miss if it accepts my password or username. It never works when I'm at the store. So it delays me checking out. I like the old 1 better it was easier to login, navigate and find the rewards/coupons. When it changed it also lost all of my rewards points so I started over and I had a credit from recycling. I'm sitting in the store right now not able to get coupons or the add.

I saw there was a new app, so downloaded today, hoping it would be better than the last. Nope. Still can't process a simple print job. Everytime I checked the file to do download and clicked DONE, it re-routed me back to the print home page instead of downloading the file. Deleted the app and went back to the web based version. Was done in 5 mins.
