Stockman Bank thinks that any purchases from a European Company is Fraud. Yes, because someone took my card to buy something for $5.50 from my ip address to ship to my address. Honestly just thank you for putting my card on hold twice after I confirmed it was me the first time so I went to actually buy what I wanted (card got declined and put on hold) the first time and you do it again. Best bank I have ever had would recommend 10/10.

Better than 3 years ago but not as good as USAA Banking App. I can log in to my other Banking app with a simple 4 digit Number, and don't even have to hit an enter key. Stockman you have to have a long PW with number, letter, cap letter and a special character and then hit the enter key. Always have to reenter it .. just not that good yet

Mostly okay. Check depositing in a pain compared to my wells Fargo banking app. Will crash when trying to deposit a check or comes up with an error message. Have to do it 3 times before it accepts it. Sometimes days later they reject the check for whatever reason and I am not notified it never went through. Have to constantly check to see if they are actually processed before I file them away.

I used to LOVE using the app but now I can't even log in. Even if I confirm my identity through text message or phone call. It won't remember my device regardless of how many times I press my private device to remember. I can't even fully login to due to being told to change my device's time and date when it is 100% correct and I do not see the point to change it EVERYTIME just to login to see my bank account. I have to resort to logging in on my internet, it's rather tiresome and frustrating.

No ads The app doesn't update your available balance right away necessarily. Sometimes it doesn't reflect recent transactions in your pending transactions section of the App account details until several days after the transaction is initiated. Most transactions are shown immediately after the transaction is completed, so it is almost always close to correct. It only becomes an issue if you spend money out of the account that you didn't actually have right after checking your available balance.

Can't spend $3.99 on a game on my phone using my stockman bank card without them flagging it as fraudulent. Have had to call in multiple times just to get my account unlocked. At times they didn't unlock my card therefore I couldn't buy dinner a couple times. Plus when you use the app to have a "secured chat" it simply will not load and it's been like that for over 6 clearly the bank doesn't care to fix that issue. Convient for them if customers can't reach them to solve their problems.

Stockman is a terrible bank. They hold your money hostage every night from midnight to 4 or 5 am. Hopefully, you don't need to transfer funds during those hours.

Its an alright app. However, when depsiting checks, its will contantly kick you out of the app when taking the pictures. So you have to fight it for like 30 minutes just to submit one check.

Its great only reason not 5 stars is it is always a pain to deposit a check from my mobile device my other apps I have no trouble this one wont accept my pics for back of check says its not clear enough 2/11/2025 still haven't fixed the problem with the checks update 7/17/2025 still no fix for camera on app come on guys are you going to fix it

It is much easier to deposit checks, rather than traveling 45 miles to the bank. This way I can deposit checks in a timely manner.

This app would be excellent except for a nag screen on login, it gives you a warning if you're using a third-party keyboard. In my case the third party keyboard is Gboard by Google, while I know Google like all tech companies are harvesting data I'm not going back to the Samsung keyboard so I'd like to turn the nag off.

Doesn't keep up the ledger, there's a difference in the swipe down transactions compared to what you see when you login. The app account balances do not match the web browser balances. We had a levy on our account for bad credit. Stockman charged us an extra $100 for them to release the money to them. Yeah, what a way to steal our money!!!

Honestly the app leaves a lot to be desired..but then again, it is a local banking app so I wasn't really expecting much to begin with. Arguably the most frustrating thing is the lack of description on transactions. You cannot click on a transaction and get an exploded description or any other info. Check deposit works...most of the time. I would love to help make changes to the app but working on bank stuff as an outsider is usually frowned upon.

My experience with this app has been good, as a Montana bank it's nearly surprising how well the app performs! My only qualm would be, which it could be that I have notifications off, but it would be nice to have some sort of notification when maintenance or anything else that would prevent access occurs. It works every time and makes it simple to deposit checks via mobile phone, transfers money from my local accounts instantly and is super simple to use.
