This app is a god send. Out of the blue last week I was inundated with spam calls. I ignored them but it's annoying to constantly have my phone buzzing. I came across this app and it blocks all calls not on my contact list. If it's a legit call not from my contact list, it goes to voicemail and I can call them back. A great app!

After installing, tried to hunt-n-peck my way thru it, but I gave up. For me, way too much stuff to figure out. I used to use "aFirewall" app and it was much simpler, but can't find that app any more. I was able to select White List, Black List, and selectively add to the Black List numbers that appear in my Contacts (siblings or ex's that I didn't want in my day-2-day, but didn't want to delete their contact info just in case ever needed). So, with that said, I got overwhelmed with this App.

Does what it should for free Easy to use, blocks numbers, you add the bad number to black list. You can also just allow contacts to call, or add ok numbers to white list. Free. No ads. Phone barely rings and you get notified of spam call so you can add to blacklist if you want or not. Ive tried many, this works the best and is free! Thanks developers.

After using this app for almost a year now, I can still give it 5 stars! It blocks EVERY call except those in my contact list. The only issue is this. While on a call, if a call comes in and it blocks it, it hangs up on the person I'm talking too. The only way I have found around this is to turn off the blocker temporarily when I'm on the call, or turn it off before I call someone.

When this app is running, it does kill unwanted calls. Although I did disable battery optimization for this app, it still periodically stops running. The FAQs are a great feature but not up to date. The Samsung-specific advice in the FAQ is old. Android 12 on my S21 does not have any of the same Android settings terminology. I'd like to pay the one-time cost for the ad-free version but I want to see this app become more stable in a future version. My rating will go up when/if that happens.

This is a great app. It has blocked 99+% of my unwanted calls. I set it to only allow my contact list through. I think 2 calls got through in a month. I highly recommend it. Made the mistake of putting my phone number out there looking for Medicare recommendations. Phone started ring every five minutes. Not after a installed this app. Only problem I ever have is when one of my utility programs removes it from memory. When it happens I have to clear the catch and data and re-do the permissions

Excellent app! Since installing, there absolutely has not been any unwanted calls that have come through. My phone doesn't ring at all. It shows an X at the top of the screen and I know it stopped a call. Otherwise I wouldn't know a telemarketer had even called. I was hesitant to download it because I figured it wouldn't stop robocalls, telemarketers, etc. Believe me, it has stopped every unwanted call. My whitelist are my contacts and they come through just fine. Love it!

Once I set the settings to block all calls except contacts, it has blocked them completely. I dont even have to clear my voicemail anymore. this is the first app (of many) that actually does what it claims. And this is the free version. Well done! UPDATE: I didnt want to upgrade to the pro version until i had used the free version for awhile. Glad i chose to do that. even though it does a great job blocking calls from the blacklist it also starting blocking my contacts which i set NOT to be block

Works really well. I did have to reinstall it because it had transferred from my old phone and the settings went a little wacky. Once I reinstalled it works fine. This has been the only call blocking app that I have used that actually blocks everything I want to block. I also like being able to customize the somewhat even without the subscription.

If you want the one that can be configured to just silence unknown calls (not in your contacts) and actually works, this is the one. So much easier than blacklists. Sometimes a spam call leaves a message but that's pretty easy to delete. If someone not in your contacts needs to legitimately get ahold of you they can still leave a message. Unless I look at the log on the app, I will never know the spam call ever existed.

Okay, I've been using this app over a month, and I don'thave any choice but to give it five stars. Reason, it's working. It's that simple. All you have to do is have it block all calls that aren't on your contact list, and you're done. And you can blacklist crazy calls. This app unlike others, I've used doesn't need to be the default app for calls. My phone, the Motorola One 5G won't allow third party apps to be the default call app, like many apps require to work properly.

Excellent. App works like a charm. The robo calls have stopped bothering me-no ring and they go straight to email. I'm verry happy with the way this app works. Review- Chapter 2: had to uninstall because I was getting/missing valid calls from Drs. Not on my contact list. When I uninstalled, then re-installed the app, it stopped working altogether! One more try and then I'm done. If a spammer does leave a voicemail, it's easy to add them to the Blacklist so that number is blocked in the future.

App working pretty well however I think the database which is promoted within the application could be a culprit. App in my case does not block incoming calls while I am on the call. Instead it seems to be either crashing or going into weird state because I can not see it in the notification panel anymore. Overall, I would say that this is a nice improvement for your phone. Options are working the way app is designed. In my case: Everything which is not in my address list goes to hell. As simple as that .. as long as I am not on the call, all those annoying calls are dropped. Just keep your address book consistent with the your phone provider's numbering plan. I use international format of the numbers and everything works fine. Unfortunately, I reached out to developer over the email but there is no response. Is the app out of support now ?

Worked fine for the first week. Then, "removed from memory ...make adjustments" notification. Did that a few times. I'm done. I just need it to work. My whole intent with using this kind of app ... during activities where I have the ability to answer a call but can't see the screen ... I need to KNOW who's ringing my phone is from my contacts ... period.

12/2021-Best blocker I've tried, and it is free. Definitely works! Different ways to block calls and to allow other calls to go through. Developers respond to questions. Recommend. UPDATE It is almost 2 years later and I have to downgrade from 5 to 2 stars. Most scam calls are getting through, maybe 20% are blocked. I don't know if scammers are getting better, but this app is not doing its job anymore. I'll have to find another app.

Yesterday just before I tried to purchase a paid subscription, I had 4 unwanted calls that were NOT in my contact list! Your app was working so great & I'm still using it! However, what's happening with your wonderful app!? It's acting up lately & I love it so much. It's a fantastic app that did exactly what it claimed to do!! I just keep going to settings & resetting it to allow only my contacts to be answered each time it gets "fussy". Hopefully that will make everything all right! Thanks💯🎊

Extremely helpful! If someone tries to call me that isn't in my contacts list, I have the calls go directly to voicemail. Almost always, they are spam calls. They used to drive me crazy before I installed this call blocker, but not anymore. The only unfortunate thing is that my Android phone tries to unload this app sometimes but I believe that I have possibly found a way around the issue. Great application folks! I would highly recommend it!
