Backing up your work requires you to pay $3.5 per month, which is ridiculous as Google Drive lets you have backup space for FREE! The timeline only works with Earth months and days. If you have a fantasy or space story that requires made up months, you're royally screwed. On top of that, the app is only available via an app. If you want to access it on your computer, that's impossible. I'm still gonna use it for on-the-fly stuff though.

The app is really useful though there are some bugs that need to be fixed. Like when i'm trying to put a picture in one of my character sheets it then all of a sudden goes blank white. I would really like this to be fixed I'm tired of having to type it up again. Also, it'd be nice to be able to add your own section just like there are sections like themes, and characters. For example if your story has a made up race, you'd probably want a seperate section so you can write info about that race.

I rarely post a review but this one is worth posting, nonstop updates, continuously adding new features, easy to use and everything a writer needs to plan, outline, write and arrange ideas and notes .the story and character based timeline and in depth development for each character big or small and the diagrams for how each character, story, time and environment are visually connected in order to easily outline and develop a complex story is worth it and the most useful app I have ever used.

This app obviously has some things that could be worked on and can be somewhat confusing at times, especially when first learning how to use it. But despite any frustration I've had, the tools this app brings to the table are incredibly helpful. Once you learn how things work it's fairly simple to get going, and while I don't personally find every single tool to be useful the app as a whole has been such an amazing platform to aid in my creativity, which is the whole point of an app like this.

This app could be a lot better but I'm having a hard time trying to synchronize with my desktop pc. I made sure I'm subscribed for $3.99 but when it does sync, it only shows the plot note and nothing else I added from my phone. I originally thought it was because of other factors like my VPN or choice of browser (Brave) but it doesn't change anything. I like everything else about it with it asking various questions like 'how do they speak' or 'personality' with 'what triggered it' underneith. Questions that I think writers need to know how to answer if they are creating characters. But that's not all! It even has a timeline editor so I can keep track of what happened in this month, on this day, and how many years ago this happened. They can even be sorted by user created folders such as "Characters turning points", "character births", "company established years". My favorite feature is the diagrams showing character corrilations or which group is affiliated with who. I could keep going but I couldn't get much done with my big fingers on such a tiny screen. I wanted to use the website but it doesn't sync what is on my phone really well. So at best I'll have to give this a 3 out of 5. It does break my heart but unless the data sync is fixed, I can't go any higher in my rating.

This app makes me feel like I'm finally getting organized! It can seem intimidating at first, but watching the help videos it comes with AT 25% SPEED, started to really sink in. However, now that I've made my story and used the "tap to write story" option then downloaded, I'm not sure how to convert it to an actual story. Am I missing something?

I ADORE THIS APP!!! It is literally everything that I could possibly ask for from cloud backups, to tags, to timelines, color coding, in-depth story/character outlines, and even a dedicated section to jot down random ideas, moments of inspiration, or concepts. The only tiny thing that I could ask for is the ability to theme the overall app. I'd really love to give the app an AMOLED black dark mode!

This app runs smoothly, literally has a section for anything and it autodisables notifications so they're not blowing you up unless you want it to. (Literally had to go through and turn all the notifications off on my other apps because they blow me up so much it's annoying, but noticed this one was the only that had them turned off automatically)

This is everything I have been looking for! I'm writing my first novel and needed some support learning how to outline and plot everything and this app helps immensely. It has detailed character planning templates, detailed plot outline templates, theme templates, and so much more. It's easy to use and navigate through. Thank you so much for putting this together!

I love the extra features that come with this app like the timeline, but actually writing the script is a very rigid experience. The actual overview/preview of the script doesn't even take into account character names so it's overall large chunks of text with nothing breaking them up or separating dialogue from the rest of the text and is useless for a quick reference. If scenes were treated differently and had the ability to be rearranged maybe this would by far more useful to me.

I've used this for quite a few years now and it's gotten better with time. It has frequent updates that I find to be lovely additions. This app is great for archiving my characters, events, and scenes in ways I enjoy over apps I've previously used. I recently also synced the data from my phone to my computer. It has helped my workflow a lot now since I can work on my phone or laptop as I need! I suppose this wasn't very descriptive for new people, but is is free if you want to try.

An incredibly useful and thorough app for making outlines, character profiles, timelines, drafts and more. The dev is friendly and helpful and no major features are locked behind ads or a paywall, something most apps can't promise. Though the app doesn't have perfect translations, it's still easy to understand and navigate, and continues to improve consistently. I recommend this tool for organizing and outlining stories.

It's a fantastic app to use when writing. You can choose how much you want to write, what is relevant to your character, etc. Only beef I might have, is that they mixed up acts and scenes. It would definitely be interesting if they had a collaboration option, or if you could set something further than 250,000 years ago. All in all, though, really useful if you're neurodivergent, or wanting to do something intrinsic. Definitely worth your space.

The initial templates it gives are complex and not intuitive. The app needs simplifying. Good for creating new stories based off the app's templates, but editing a template to fit an already existing story you're working on is a nightmare. The character correlation diagram looked fun, but it can't fit more than a sentence or two before it breaks and is hard to look at or read. The plot section going red after adding 20+ sections made it too annoying to keep using.

Overall fantastic app! Has features most paid apps of this kind lack. English is a bit odd at times, but easy to understand. I'm on my phone, but I really like how it tells you where certain buttons will be on computer in case you want to switch. The story structure template they use is the 'Hollywood' structure, would like if they could incorporate other types as options, but they do have a free form mode. :) I'm very happy with this app! I think alot of effort was put into it and it shows.

There's a lot I like about this app I can list my ideas and either combine them into a plot, work with them individually, or let them sit for next time. That flexibility is really cool! But when I get into the structuring, things are not so easy. There are screens I can't find, even after watching the tutorial. I don't understand how characters fit into the plot screen, or how to get to some I've created. Bottom line: I don't find it functional enough to use for writing. I continue my quest.

A really great app. I love the timeline and in depth character development it allows. I only have 2 issues. The biggest is that I don't like the way the dates are. Instead of having the year 2006, the closest thing I can use is +6. 1998 is -2... There should be a way to manually type it, or maybe have a modern day setting? It gets confusing. The second issue is I wish it let me select my own colors for the arrows on the character diagram, instead of a preset list.

Ui is a bit of a mess, but overall, it's been very useful to me. The timeline map could definitely use some q.o.l work, though. It's hard to navigate, and I can't figure out how to delete/edit events that were automatically added, and aren't important to the story. Some questions are phrased a little awkwardly, too. Overall though, this can be fixed with just a bit of work.

I'm absolutely loving working with this app. I love how it's an all in one digital notebook; It has space for random notes, the option to tag/search things (within the app), character creation & development, folders to organize with, etc. My only concern is that you have to subscribe ($4US/month) to have automatic synchronization which honestly is less than I pay for Kindle Unlimited (I went over 500 books in a year during full-time quarantined/hybrid schooling) to be fair & I think that's fair.

For starters, I love this app, I just wish that I was better at using it. You can create characters, scenes, the setting, and even set the tone of a scene or how a character feels in that moment. You can even map character relationships together. I do have a grip. Nothing major just when you whole sale delete a story and create a new one, old characters that you don't want anymore, just appear in your next story. I'm sure it's a bug, but if anything, it's like a minor inconvenience.
