I wasn't expecting much from a smartphone entry for Street Fighter, but I find myself playing this a lot to satisfy my fighting game itch when I can't play on a console. I suggest adjusting the control positioning to fit your thumbs to help execute tricky moves. One star short because after purchasing the full version, I had issues with installing. Couldn't find any support, but it miraculously worked a day later. Anyway, this is pretty fun for a mobile game, and no monetization!

The graphics in my opinion could have been better but the game does look good i used an external controller and had some trouble with it the game is mapped to support it but it doesn't allow you to change key bindings the only reason i bring this up is because if you use a controller the punch button wasnt bound at all i tried looking in settings and all over but couldn't find a way to resolve the issue other than that i think its worth 5 bucks if you want to use the on screen controls

I appreciate the demo ! This is basically my very first SF title. I enjoyed the only mode available, Arcade, restricted to 4 fighters. Within 2 weeks, I am now familiar with most of their movesets, and just need to really get the commands down as they can be tricky to do, especially on the touchscreen. If I'm able to do that, and perhaps connect a Bluetooth controller, I'll definitely spend the $5 on the full game ! It's Street Fighter on my phone ! An excellent offline choice 👌💪

As a FG lover, this app is pretty solid! I'm impressed & didn't expect it to look/feel this great. Especially using my PS4 controller which makes it way easier to pull off combos. THE ONLY ISSUE & it's a pretty big one too, is that the online is terrible. I played 1 person (that was enough for me) & it was so laggy I'll never try online again until there's an update. Meanwhile I'll be stomping the AI with Poison 😂

This game has been quite fun. Mobile controls are good; there is a setting that let you use special moves with one button and also autoblock. It's good for playing in small bursts and you can play solo offline or online with others. The only minor issue I have is the lack of a storyline in solo mode. Oh, and you can try before you buy and get the full game for $5.

One of the best (if not the best) mobile fighters available right now. Personally not a fan of mobile games (Console Enthusiast) but love Capcom, their Street Fighter, and Resident Evil franchises. Now the controls for this game are great. Responds great with the touchscreen controls. Entering the button commands for combos, special moves, and ultra combos are not a problem. The option of using a handheld controller is awesome. The visuals are very reminiscent of its console counterpart. A+

My problem with it is the mobile controls. I feel like I am limited to only 2 crouching punches and 2 crouching kicks. The graphics are disappointing, and I lack too many buttons. In traditional street fighter, I play with at least 6 buttons, but this only gives me 4. It doesn't work well. I love how there is a virtual analog stick, as it actually works well.

The first time I ever played street fighter was back in 2014 and that was Street Fighter X Tekken. Then I played II Turbo Edition and that was crazy as hell. I picked up on Street Fighter 4 and this game is exactly as insane as the other ones. The only thing that kinda disappoints me is that there's no fixed combos like in other fighting games like being able to throw 3 hit combos or other things cause really you can only throw one hit and then a delay afterwards and then you can strike again.

The best fighting game on mobile hands down without question. Full physical controller support and ability to customize onscreen controls. The only thing missing is support for two controllers for local multiplayer matches on the same phone. The few online matches i have found have been very laggy and unplayable but thats probably just an issue with trying to play a mobile fighting game over cellular networks. Despite limited buttons can still do many of the sfiv moves.

Overall, it seems nice, but the game supports controller only during the fight, meaning that you have to touch the screen to start a fight or continue. Pretty dumb. You developers did all the work and forgot to make the menu screen respond to the controller? Also, why not add an option to rumble (vibrate) the controller when hit? It would not take an hour to add a few lines of code to do that.

3 stars only because the directional controls is not great. Seeing a lot of trying to jump or move in a direction ends up going the opposite direction. And trying to get off special moves at specific times ends up not working because the directional controls is all over the place. Not a bad port but if you can fix the d pad to be way better then Definitely 5 stars

Street Fighter IV mobile is phenomenal. Seriously. If you want to play a real video game on mobile and not a "mobile game" that's designed to get you to want to keep paying for it, this is what you're looking for. For $5 you can have all the fun you want. It'll never try to gouge another cent out of you. Sure that's not FREE, but come on. $5. A mere $5 for a game that is more immediately satisfying that any "mobile game" ever was. You can stand to spend the $5. You won't even know it's gone. It's not gonna be as complex as the REAL SFIV, but it's a very cleverly compressed version of it. All character special moves are intact along with select regular moves that allow for combo potential. For example the kick button will just have Cammy's medium kick instead of having the light and heavy variants too, because the mid kick chains into spiral arrow. If you're worried about touch screen controls, don't be, you'll get used to them I promise. There's an easy special button that you can use for special attacks, and trust me, this is what you want to do. I'm a purist myself, but pressing down/down-right/right for a Hadouken on a touch screen was just not meant to be. However, pressing right and "special" for a Shoryuken is totally reasonable. Of course, this is no substitute for SFIV proper, but it is a fine mini version that will keep you busy for so many hours just getting from point A to point B. It's really the perfect game to have adapted to mobile too, because matches are short, so you can whip this out and have a satisfying match before you even make it through the line at the grocery store. Just a final note on this game's staying power, I just want to say I actually first bought this on iOS with my 4TH GEN ipod touch. And this was my very first purchase after switching over to Android, because I knew for a fact I needed this game to come with me when I got my S9. I don't care about no Pokemon GO or whatever else is popular on phones. I just need my Street Fighter!

Good graphics and the controls, while not perfect on the touchscreen, are optimized for mobile play. It is a simplified version of SF IV, but I don't care, it works on the phone, the moves and combos feel right and flow as they need to. Well worth the money to support their game, and not too expensive. Best fighting game for a phone that I have ever played. Multiplayer is fun as well. I might consider getting a controller to help play the game and become a bit more competitive.

The best console quality game I've played on a phone. I think the timing or transitions for some of the combos are lagging, but this game is well worth it if you're looking for top a top quality fighter on a phone. If you're a fan of street fighter, this game is a mandatory download. I haven't played much of the pvp online matches, so I can't give an accurate description on the connection. To the developers, please go through the challenge mode and update the fluidity of the combos.

Their heart is in the right place with this one, but far from a bullseye. I expected the onscreen controls to be pretty bad a Ms it just seems hard with phone screen size and other issues to make it a real alternative to a controller. However, I tried it with an Xbox controller and it is still pretty horrible. It's slow moving, very laggy, and leaves alot to be desired. I gave it 2 stars for the effort and because I really enjoy the street fighter series but in reality, it's one star material.

All in all mediocre try at the kind of representation for the type of game it's trying to live up to. Although not awful, not anything amazing. Much credit due to the animations, and everything else that went into making it. Sadly when it comes down to it, it's really just not anything equal to a console experience. Additionally if you don't plan on connecting a Bluetooth control, plan on having a less than stellar experience. Good game though

This is super awesome! I don't mind paying for more characters bc it's worth it. Althought when it comes to playing online or ranked matches, it's a bit difficult because it lags terribly. I assume it's because of the distance of players ofc, but even when you set your opponents range within the country, it's difficult to find anyone to play with.

At first I thought this game wasn't good. It was glitchy, the screen was off center and part of the buttons were cut off to the point I couldn't use one. Turned the game off then back on, the screen fixed itself, I resized the buttons, now it works pretty good. Controls are probably the best on a touchscreen that I've seen, but still a little glitchy. I also wish the frame rate was a little smoother. Kinda hard to time the moves. Other than that, great job!

It's a great game, but it sucks to play online. This is for two reasons: 1. hardly anyone plays this game anymore, and 2. the net coding is terrible, meaning you're likely to encounter a lot of lag. This game also has a huge problem with misinputs. Additionally, the only single player modes are survival and arcade. There's no option that lets you fight any CPU whenever you want. But despite it's apparent flaws, it's still a solid time-killer.

It's a good game. kinda wish there were more costume options for the characters though. Also the games frame rate is kinda wonky. Not sure if that's just an a me problem or if anybody else suffers from this, but otherwise, it's a great game. I recommend it (also you guys made the second stage in the dreamcast port of street fighter III: third strike impossible)
