The app itself works fine. But for the life of me I cannot find a way to import my data on my new phone. I don't want to lose 4 years of history. The app recognizes my Account's Plus status but then only says to "Scan your first card". Is there no way to import the saved data?

It's good, but sometimes slow, however it's free so can't complain. Edit: When I say slow, I mean sometimes it takes 1-2 days before the transactions show up, but sometimes it's instant. I'm pretty sure it's not the apps fault but the system it gets the information from. Edit #2: Thanks for replying so quickly!

Nice reader for the suica cards so you can see remaining balance and history, which is useful. The app can't let you load more money on your card, and scrolling through the history could be a little bit smoother. But what it CAN do is still super helpful and makes this a must-have app for travelling around in Japan.

Simple app that gives you basic info on your ic card. Really useful for checking your balance

Great app! I already enjoyed it for reminiscing about private vacations, but it has proven even more useful for business expenses, what with decoding of station names and export to CSV. I ran into a problem when switching to a new phone and I could not bring the data over, but after contacting the developer about it, he fixed the problem and published an update right away!

Best train card reader. Spent 250¥ to upgrade to ad-free ~video ads were really obtrusive in the free version (have paid for 2 phone apps in my life). Displays multiple cards BUT you can't control the order; seems newly scanned cards display by default when you open the app, not the most used. App report spending categories (train, bus, vending machine)- great (but "e-money" "restaurants" "misc" would be better description) WIDGET is the best feature. Turn off the "World Statistics" option.

So handy! Really helpful for keeping an eye on our spending as the card can be used for transport, drink machines, convenience stores and some restaurants. I love the little graph that shows how much total you have spent in each category. Also little tip, scan the card at the end of each day as it only holds up to 20 most recent transactions.

This easily has to be one of the top 10 best deigned and nicest looking apps I've seen in the Play Store. Hell I'm rarely in Japan and I gladly paid $5 to get ride of ads it was that good. It makes me wonder what the developer could come up with if they put their mind to making a tide chart app that doesn't look like every other garbage tide chart in the store. Now that I would pay $10 for.

Really enjoyable app. Very useful. Can't buy the premium version though, that's kinda sad. As suggestion, i would like to see a card drawer so we can switch between card to see. On the statistical side, perhaps a dynamic map that show the journey (beginning point and ending point) would be interesting. Chart on your personal use for each line would be a nice touch too.

Does exactly what you expect and even more. When I was in japan it scared me going to stations to check my balance, but with this it's so easy, it uses near field tech to scan the card to get the balance and even tells you where you used it, as well as if you used it more on a bus or train, and you can even see where these cards are used most in Japan too if you like stats, it's packed with stuff and the dark theme is nice.

I picked this one because it's in English. So useful! I used it for my trip to Tokyo in Feb-2019. Besides checking my Suica/Pasmo cards balance, I could also keep track of my spending when I shopped using the cards. Since I used Pasmo to make payments almost everywhere, the history is listed on the App. There's an “Add Note" function to every entry so we can write down what the payment was for e.g “buying packed dinner at 7-Eleven". I liked this so much that I paid for the ads-free version.

Enjoying this so far - it has the best graphic interface of similar apps and is very user friendly. My phone (Pixel 3a, Android 9) is set to English, so the interface is all in English. A great option is the ability to change settings to display station names in English or Japanese. It also displays a pie-chart-like breakdown of money spent between train travel, vending machine purchases, and shop purchases. Purchases are grouped on the main screen and I can't see which is which, though.

It's simple, and neat. You can use it to get the total amount and track your expenditures. And add notes on where you have spent.

Great app, tells you in an instant your balance and travel history. So good, it made our trip to Japan easy. This works with Welcome Suica and other IC cards. A must have for everyone, Japanese and Foreigners alike!

Excellent, let's me keep track of IC card spending. You need to scan your card with the app every few days in order to keep all history but otherwise very easy to use just tap your card on your phones NFC area and voila!

The UI and everything is good except you cannot export your history data to another phone, which is a huge turn down for me. This should've been one of the basic features..? The development team won't reply to emails whatsoever. Would definitely have purchased the premium version if backup/restore feature is available.

So easy to use and very helpful. I love how it not only shows your balance but a history of each charge and where it was. 10/10 would recommend. Doesn't work on all phones though, my friends couldn't download it, but I could easily check their card balances and the option to personalize the name and color was nice.

Very good app for checking balances. The language can be in English or Japanese. The statistics are a fun feature to see how the money is being spent. The ads are not very intrusive and can be eliminated by upgrading to the paid version. Most of all, the customer support is top notch. I sent feedback of my issue and an update was rolled out within 24 hours that completely fixed my problem. Maybe it was an easy fix, I don't know, but the developers were on top of it and took action immediately.

July 2019 - This app was super useful while traveling around Tokyo. Your balance is displayed when you swipe your IC card at stations, but we were also using our IC cards for vending machines and station lockers, so I used this app frequently to check my balance before heading to the station. It was accurate and worked very easily and quickly with my Galaxy S8. I only have a basic plastic case on mine, so I'm not sure if a more hefty case like an Otterbox would make it harder to read your card.

This is the second app I've used for my pasmo card. By far its the best one yet. Not only does it show your past transactions, its even got the different transit line colors. You can export your data, which can be usefull if you get reimbersed for your travel. Plus you can check your ballance in a snap! Nothing like an app that works well and has a good user interface.
