I used to love this app but, it has been horrible for the past 2 weeks. I called technical support and they had me uninstall and reinstall. I have had to do this several times since. The update did not improve anything. 01/15/24 - please fix this app!! All Android users consistently get network error. I have uninstalled & reinstalled the app several times & gain access only on the initial entry. Once you close out it errors out again. This is very frustrating!

The app was working fine for months, but in the last two weeks it has been giving me an 'unexpected error' message when I open it, not even trying to log in, just opening the app. I made sure my app was up to date and it was, so finally after a week or so of this, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. At first it worked, but within a few hours it started throwing that error again. Something probably got messed up in your last update. Please fix it, I really loved the app before this 🙏

The CU & this app is super frustrating! I am never able to login & access my account, it always crashes, it's slow, & I hate always having to verify who I am. I get if it's a new device, but I use my phone all the time. It will even ask me to verify when I deposit a check! I hate the new bill pay system! I had several late payments when it changed from electronic to check without notice. The fix wasn't great - 23 years with this place & I'm considering leaving over this! 😤😡

Dislike the cu, really dislike the app Try to do something basic, like set up automatic payments of your credit card. I couldn't figure out how to do it in the app. We went to the cu, where the rep said she could do it. Very weird, she literally set "something" up without asking us for detail beyond us telling her we wanted to set up automatic payments. But we established that she had set up regular payments in full. Turns out that no payment was made, though. Very dissatisfied overall.

Good for seeing balances, and transferring between accounts. Only other thing I really need it for is mobile deposits. However, it asks to send a code to my email or phone. It takes between 15 and 30 minutes every time. I've been trying to deposit a check over a day now. Started Saturday evening, tried again around midnight, and have been trying on and off since this Sunday morning. I don't even know why it would ask me to verify it's me in order to deposit money. No settings for this even. 😵

Looks like I'm getting the same error as a another customer that complained in January of 2024. I'm having the same issues as her. Can't login says "unexpected network error". I've tried logging in with Wi-Fi, my data, from another phone, I've tried everything there is to try on a cell phone. Call Suncoast customer service five times. They say they never had any complaints which is not true because someone complained writing a review about the same thing in January of 2024.

Looks like I have to change my review again. Maybe this time I'll keep it at 1 star. Because the amount of bugs with signing in, staying signed in or even something as simple as depositing a check, the only reason I have this account and app, is so bad it's not worth trying anymore. 4 months later and still can't deposit checks. It's so nice when there's 0 convenience from a service you need.

I had no issues with this app until the update. Now I get the unexpected user error every time I try to log in. I used the sign out work around mentioned in another review, and that does work. The response from Suncoast on 1/23 was that they pushed out another update; however, I updated yesterday (1/24) and am still experiencing the same issue. It's a minor inconvenience remembering to sign out, but I really prefer apps that sign you out automatically if you've been idle, especially for banking.

For those experiencing the "Unexpected network error" and then doesn't let you sign in, I found a work around that works for me. Go to the menu on the left upper corner of the app and make sure you click to sign out. Once you do this, the sign in screen should appear again, and then you can sign in normally. Apparently, they changed the app in the latest update. It doesn't sign you out automatically when you stop using the app like in the past, so now you have to sign out manually before using.

Would get another star if the app biometric login worked consistently. Often even though the option is enabled, you must enter account and password. After that is done, you can use the biometric facility until it turns off again. Update: two months later, biometric log on hasn't been fixed. The option continues to become randomly disabled. Sometimes a forced stop will correct it, sometimes not. Just when you think it cant get worse, it does. Now 2FA sends a code that can't be copied.

Mobile deposit on my Pixel 6 Pro has become completely unusable (it has always been rough, but after several tries I could usually get one to work). Pictures come out incredibly blurry so they can't be used. My guess would be the camera isn't properly implemented so it can't take advantage of the image stabilizer and HDR. My closest branch is an hour away, so this really stinks. Everything else seems to work ok.

Anyone experiencing the unexpected network error: I haven't been able to log in for the last two weeks because of this error message. But I just realized today, the screen looked like I had already entered my password, I just couldn't access my accounts information. I could access the menu bar in the upper left corner, so I clicked this and manually logged out of my account and now I am able to use the app normally again with no network error. I never use to log out, I would just close the app.

I continue to have problems with menu and accessibility to accounts. I will hit the transfer button and then then drop down appears but I cannot, most times, complete the transfer because after the above it freezes and I cannot take further action. I have contacted Customer Service and the girl was rude and condescending. I know what a cache is and how to clear it. The most help is actually going in to the lobby... like I have time for that

Like many others, suddenly started failing. App has a history of working fine and then dying for everyone for a long time. Essentially the app just is not reliable. It's better to just use the website. Also to note, didn't just reinstall this. I replaced my entire phone and had the same issue. It is the app, plain and simple.

Usually a good app, but when it fails it FAILS. Haven't been able to log in due to an "unexpected network error" for weeks now. no updates available, un-installed and re-installed. Made sure my VPN was off. it's usually great. super simple. but this is not the first time I haven't been able to easily log into my bank account. they definitely need to work on it...

Password works about half the time. Not the easiest to navigate. Haven't figured out how to get payment history either. Update: not able to pay for a loan from an external method. Basically if you want to pay a car bill its a 60 mile round trip to the actual bank, unless you pay with the suncoast account that is attached to the loan. This app offers very little.

Since I've downloaded this mobile app, it has only gotten worse. It doesn't load. When I click on the app, it only shows a blank screen and the loading symbol. I'm able to get to the homepage and click log in but once I click login the screen goes blank and it only shows a blue loading arrow. A message pops up that says "unexpected network error" I'm not able to log in to see my bank accounts.

said I'd update so still problematic almost all the time. Completely unusable...Have reinstalled multiple times. Now timeout is immediate.Update no available, so uninstalled and reinstalled. Got in fine the the same "Unexpected Error" UGH!!Good when it works. Could use more e services like doc uploads and request forms. "Unexpected Error" has kept me from being able to use the app arlt all for days now. Frustrating. Used to be just one in awhilea whilmore than not.

Still often does not load. I should not have to uninstall and reinstall an app to update instead of just updating the app from the appstore. You need to fix that problem. I use it only to check my balances because it frequently won't let me select an account to transfer money from. Many times I can't even do that due to an "unexpected network error" that leaves a blank page and none of the tabs work. It also fails to read / scan checks. It barely performs its basic functions, months later.

Can't link accounts to send wire transfers without going through multiple time outs. We have to manually deposit cash each time because remote deposit fails every time. You can't update the password on the app. My wife and I use a joint account, and she has to log in every time because it doesn't save her information or biometrics. Trying to link the account to anything online through the app always ends up in an error message.
