Have an issue where the app will not load once I've put my password in. Only thing it lets my phone do is "close all" once the blue circle starts going. I have uninstalled, reset my phone, tried on 3 different internet connections, and nothing. Worst customer service I've ever had the misfortune of having to call. Absolutely terrible app. I honestly don't understand why they can't just bill your bank account directly, without auto-pay snatching $10 minimum each time. Just debit my account ffs 😑

This has to be the literal worst app on my phone. It works exactly like youd expect anything from the government, too. It's slow clunky and reminds me of something from 10 years ago that would have been poor quality then. It doesnt scroll your page when you click a text box so your keyboard just covers it, this is basiclly 2020 not 2008. It's save account/password feature is better off gone. Sunpass seems to also just forget my password as I have had to reset it to the same one 6 times.

This application is so horrible to use. Not to mention if you ever need to speak to a person. Good luck finding someone that speaks proper English on top of that. The application before the overhaul to what is being used now was more efficient as well. I have to keep uninstalling the app to get it to work correctly as well. I was having application issues on iOS and Android version's 7,8,9 and not working on Android 10 as well.

This new app is a disaster. Nothing works. I used to just pull up the Sunpass website and all was well. Not so anymore. Not only can I not get into the website but I cant get into the new app either...it doesn't recognize my account number or transponder number. Tried calling them but they were too busy to talk to me. Not sure what I'll do when it comes time to update my credit card info. Of course they did take their payment this month. No trouble there. This app definitely needs work.

Terrible app. When you try to pay it asks for your invoice and plate numbers. It then takes you to the invoice screen and if you click on the pat option it then asks FOR YOUR INVOICE AND PLATE NUMBERS. It's a perpetual cycle of this. It's only slightly better then their website that doesn't keep the drop down menus open long enough to actually let you select what you want to do. I had to pay over the phone and the automated system is 99% useless. Took me almost and hour to pay a $15.45 toll.

Let me save you an hour of frustration. Before using the app, go online and set up your account, payment method, and activate your transponder. If you do that, the app works. Do not try to set up a new account or activate a new transponder thru the app unless you want to waste your time re-entering data multiple times before giving up and doing it online anyway. The create new account and activate transponder functions are full of bugs that make completing those tasks impossible. YMMV.

Totally useless now. Can no longer add funds to my account. It has my information stored but when I try to add funds it logs me out of the app. I had to go to the full website. I also keep getting alerted that my account has a low balance. My low balance alert is 10 dollars but I keep getting alerts for balances over this amount. Florida needs to find another company to manage the toll system since this one is incapable. Completely incompetent.

The app doesn't work. Halfway through the sign-up process, the app informs me that I need to use a different or updated browser to continue. I am using whatever browser is built into the app. That was their choice, not mine. In effect, the app is broken and unusable. Attempting to accomplish the same task via the website or kiosks works just about as well, so it may to be a failing of the entire system, not just this app. One star, either way.

I try to register my transponder and I'm told to update my browser. All of my browsers are up to date! I try to use the app to notify them and it tells me the system can't be reached and to try later. This is after I had a very difficult trying to enter the info of wanted without the info disappearing when I hit submit with resulting errors.

Constantly does not load pages. Information is mismatched such as showing you that you have 2 license plates attached on the quick view but only shows 1 when you go to the actual page. Does not allow you to update your information. All in all, this app needs a lot of work. Recommend to just bookmark the sunpass website and find ways to easily cut and paste your info so you can access your account reliably and quickly.

As many others have indicated, this update to the former app is unusable. I am a product manager for major software systems; I would be embarrassed to admit that this junk software was my work. After some analysis, I think the major problem is with the back end (although the UI of the client is riddled with issues). If this app improves, I will come back and revise my review. In the meantime if I could give it a negative 5 stars, I would.

It's ok. Just don't like how they show your balance. It's very confusing. If your account is on negative $5, it doesn't show as if it's negative. It just says "Account balance $5" which makes you believe you still have $5 in your balance. Please change that because when I checked again and noticed more money in my balance (I didn't know it was negative) I thought my lady added more funds. So confusing. When it's on negative, put the negative sign and even change the color of the numbers to red

if i could give this app less stars, I would. it just hangs with a loading animation after opening and selecting "I agree" on the terms page (which displays every single time) and only rarely gets past this. if it ever does, login never works and it eventually locks you out of your account, which, easily enough, is entirely accessible without fail on their website. this happens on both my phone and my girlfriend's. just another testament to Florida's half baked approach to do... anything.

Screen stays on launch tutorial... workaround 😉 You can enable the "talk back" feature in your device settings/accessibility CAUTION, read the instructions carefully under talk back as it can be a pain in the @ss if you are unsure how to enable and disable. Once enabled, you can move the selection to the "done" button which is off the visible portion of the screen. Poor execution by the app designer...

It's stupid-slow, and though it actually works on my Samsung phone, it's infuriating that the State of Florida thinks so little of its citizens that it continues to allow this crummy junk to be an important interface with them. I Purchased a new transponder. Upon clicking the final "SUBMIT" button I immediately got the message "System not available try again later"... and about 15 seconds after that got a confirmation that my order had indeed been processed. Junk design.

Crashes constantly, very limited on what you can do within app (vs via desktop website). Very frustrating since SunPass has *everything* to do with being mobile. For instance... To "quickly" add a rental car license plate to your account and duration of rental, etc... It is not possible unless you use the desktop site, on a computer not a phone (even mobile website is wacked...forcing the desktop view on a smartphone does not fix it). Again - the app is 100% useless, do not bother.

The app keeps loading up insanely slowly, If it even decides to load at all that is. And even when it does eventually load, it's a constant struggle to login. I end up having to log in about 4-6 times before it eventually works. Then when it loads it shows my funds and stuff, but I can't add funds, because when I try to go past the main screen after login it just goes to a permanent white loading screen. And my phone's not the issue, nor is my Internet. as I checked and I have very high speeds.

Not at all user-friendly! After flying for the entire day to get to Orlando from WA state, we sat outside Walgreens wasting a bunch of time trying to set this up in our rental vehicle. After I was done, it wouldn't me log in. I reset my password & still, nothing. After another 30 minutes, my husband was finally able to set the account up in his name. I know that everything the WA state government touches is total garbage but I had higher hopes for Florida. Turns out, it's exactly the same.

Just updated to the latest version and still find this app difficult to use. I need to change my license plate numbers. You'd imagine it was in edit vehicle, right? Well, you can't make any changes in edit, very annoying system. App and its website are THE WORST. If it wasn't so nice to blow by the tourists, I would go back at the booth. It doesn't remember my user name 85% of the time, I want to refill my wallet- very annoying system.

One of the worst apps I've ever used. I'm a software engineer, yet took me 50 minutes to register two retail-purchased transponders, and in the end it only succeeded via the website. App reported not up to date browser. I definitely have up to date Chrome. Today, after first day using passes in two vehicles, I checked on the website: neither vehicle listed. In the app: both listed. There's only one transponder listed, but twice. Tried to add the second one again and it says already registered
