The application provides a set of >70 filters containing profiles of popular vintage Kodak Vision3 films, black-and-white filters and filters for cinema post-processing. You also have the option of manually preprocess color by changing the temperature, tint, saturation and color correction curve. You can track all changes in the distribution of colors in a frame using a color histogram or waveform monitor.
Physical film emulation
The application allows you to emulate such aspects of analog film shooting as stains and scratches, frame shake (gate weave), flicker, grain, uneven emulsion coating etc. Using pause/continue while recording leaves realistic distortion on frames. You can even choose overscanned film mode to see edges and film strip with holes, and apply film burn at any time you want.
Professional shooting options
Super 16 allows you to change the focus and exposure settings, adjust the zoom for better shooting of various scenes. Camera shoots at authentic 24fps that creates movie effect (if your device supports it). All parameters (including processing features) can be changed during the recording.
Convenience of use
You can create your own presets based on the available processing options. This allows you to immediately use the camera in the configuration you need, without having to re-configure. It is also possible to process existing video files with built-in video editor.

My phone doesn't have a pro or manual option, when i tried other third party apps the manual features were somehow locked, but when i used this app the locked manual features are somehow customizeable. This is game-changing, there are also tons of other features as well. You could do so much with the free version that I can't even imagine how much more you could do with the paid version. This is making me wanna pay for the subscription.

Good but maddening - I have this loaded on my Samsung S10, and it's got the goods, but in landscape, the filter controls are stuck at the comtrol end of the screen, so if I try to scroll the options, I keep closing the app view. Using auto-rotate does nothing. It's locked. Please fix this issue. It makes it a massive pain to use it and I end up shutting it down.

It is really awesome that I can film in a mobile phone? Because of this, Now I can! Too many setting for you to adjust and that is amazing. The problem about the camera is because whenever I stop the camera for a bit then change the camera to front ( Facing me ) The camera randomly plays that I'm not ready for the take, Please fix this and that will cause more good experience.

Brilliant at film simulation, but its not very user friendly. The buttons are very small, scrolling through the setting menu is hard without accidently changing values. Would be nice to have a pop out menu for selecting the aspect ratios. And an export quality menu when you save an image. Maybe make the setting bigger or have an option to change its size and show a small preview of the image along side it. It's really great otherwise, sorry i hope you find my feedback helpful!

Hey I absolutely love your app as a lover of vintage film, but the 4 stars are due to the multiple lags in it .The first time I had installed it the app simply did not record any clip/take an image, so I uninstalled and installed it once again and now it's working just fine. But even now for some reason the film burn doesn't get saved in the video and the flash feature isn't working. I sincerely request you to fix these bugs in the next update. Thank you

Just using the free options right now in both Super 16mm framed and frameless presets, and I gotta say the results look incredibly convincing. It made an close up video of subject under "studio" lighting feel like it might've been shot more than 50 years ago. The previews of the Paid Presets definitely look authentic as well, and I'm certainly looking forward to trying those out. Recommended if you want a quick, easy and very convincing film simulation effect on your present day videos!

Love this app. Have tried many film camera apps in the past and none come close to the real deal. This one definitely is a lot better. My only complaint is that the feature to import regular photos and have it become film-style results in something different than if I had taken the photo originally through the app. This leads to moments where I have to decide whether to capture a spontaneous moment in my regular camera app vs Super16. Imported pictures have no grain and are overall too smooth

Hello i just want to say that this app is trully so good, and it fits my style so much. However, there's one thing that i seem to have problem with it. When i use videos that are from my gallery, the video could not load as it stucked and it only shows black background. I want to edit my videos that i recorded earlier. I hope that this can be fix as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

When I first got this app I was astonished by it, the quality you can get from these different film presents look extremely close to the real thing. Recently however I feel like the quality has somehow gotten worse, it's less film blur and more photo compression. Also improting phone often freezes the app and when you export that imported photo, it only exports a black square.

Great app but the new version is broken. On Pixel 6 Pro, when I press "ultra" to use the wide angle lens, the viewfinder goes dark and stays that way. The camera can't be switched and restating the app doesn't help. The viewfinder is locked to a black screen from then on. I have to uninstall the app to get it to work again and avoid the "ultra" button. No other functionality breaks the app like this so I'm certain it has something to do with the camera swap API

Please PLEASE create a setting to mirror\flip the selfie camera footage! Thank you! • And the buttons are small and hard to select. Other than that I love it! .............. I turn off all the filters and use this app in place of my (Moto G5 Stylus) phone's default camera, which insists on blurring and smoothing everything I record, even with all filters turned off. This is now my main video recording app! I now have clear recordings!

Excellent app, with one minor request! I love the way that the camera takes control of the exposure and focus, making for a more compelling super 16 feel. I also have huge thumbs lol, and so the display and buttons available tend to be too small that I sometimes miss the tiny button to take a still or the small record button. If you can remedy this in a new patch, I would be so grateful! It's my new default app for camera!

As a video professional, it's nice having this much control over the video. My only critique is that I wish I could switch between which back camera the app uses - was hoping to use my Pixel 6 fully in-app instead of uploading video to process later. My dream feature would be an option to change the slider from zoom control to focus control (not sure if that can be done - the focus lock is great in itself!)

It really is a remarkable app. The amount of tools at your disposal is almost overwhelming, but if you're not sure where to start the presets look really nice as well. The only reason I'm giving it four out of five is because the developer thought of like, everything BUT being able to use the flash. Maybe I'm being a total fool right now, but I've scoured every corner of the app and can not find anything that'll turn it on. But other than that, again, superb work.

The best old school video and camera app on playstore, period! That's not too say there isn't some drawbacks. I truly hope this app maker listens to their customers, and completes the work that the designers put into it. I am old, and yes, after capturing just a bit of footage on this, I felt that same feeling I felt in 75 - It's that good!

I love the manual control here. Very easy to accomplish the look you want with the right amount of work. My only complaint is the UI is SO SMALL that it makes it extremely difficult to actually select the things I need. So doing it on the fly is not really an option. If the UI were a little friendlier I would love love love this because I feel it'd be perfect for on the go filming and editing.

This app is so amazing. It replicates these styles extremely well. You can even save presets. You can also import videos you've taken or downloaded and implement a vintage style of your choosing over it which is extremely helpful. One of the best features on the app for sure. I also haven't ran into the issue some have experienced of losing their presets and I've had the app for almost 2 years. Definitely worth the price.

TLDR: its going to be hard to find better. Trying not to sound generic but the features and really well made and very user friendly (bar graph needs tutorial tho) You are able to import your own media and apply the filters and effect which is insanely awsome!! There is ALOT of different free color filters that you can use which is incredibly The effect customization is incredibly user friendly and extremely easy to use. Ability to export setting would be aswome tho lol, 9-9.5/10 honestly!

I love the filters and customizable settings, but I really have to dock two stars for the landscape UI when going to select a photo from your camera roll. I have a lot of albums so it just takes ages to find what I'm looking for, and everything is difficult to see. Also, recently the photos have been saving in the wrong orientation no matter how I flip it when editing. 🙁

Been using this app for a while, really love how close the film look is on this app, and the fact that you can make your own presets. A bug that I found when installing this app on my new phone is that the thumbnails for my presents have a black screen, whereas on my old phone, the thumbnails are what was shown when I saved it. Do hope this gets fixed for the next update, because I really enjoy this app!
