The apps usability and functionality have improved, but there are still irritations - as if whoever designs the app doesn't use the app. When watching highlights, why does the icon to make it full screen have to be microscopic? I know it's a Youtube link playing through the Supersport App, but this isn't complex. You used to be able to double tap the screen. Or it should just go full screen when you rotate your phone.

As soon as you try to watch something, it constantly asks you to login to dstv stream and in the end does not load anything. You took my money and i cannot watch anything.

Older version was more user freindly. Navigating the app was easier. The new version is fancier but i struggled to find my way around basic stuff. Also the colours used on the scores page dont work for me. App can also be slow to load at times. With some screens not loading at all. My advise is to just keep it simple. People want to get to what they are looking for as quick as possible. If it takes too long, we just go to google search.

I really really miss the older interface of this app. This new interface is not nice at all. I wish I could revert back. Update. Trying to use the live match update feature. It's showing me theatch is 21 minutes in and the score is 1-0 I tried getting more information. It says there is no data. That's when I check under the heading of the actual club. When I check the heading of the premier league it says there are no live matches. It only shows results and upcoming matches.

This app is quite clunky at times, but serviceable, but now you have "upgraded" the TV times to make it impossible to read on an app. Good grief. The top 75 percent of the cellphone screen is locked and the left hand side 30 percent is locked - leaving a tiny bit to try and get the broadcast times. Thanks for the response, but the problem was not a list or otherwise. Now the dropdown menus don't work and it is stuck on Blitz only. Reinstalled but to no avail. Also, Sharks news is 6 months old!

Always kicks me out. Whenever I try to access the Supersport app for updates, the app just closes. I follow my sport religiously. Most sport. And especially during weekends, I have encountered that when you open up the app, it closes immediately upon opening. We have DSTV full bouquet but sometimes when you travel then the app is very useful. However, recently it has become a big problem. Also, during weekends it does not update scores. Hence, we are forced to go to the internet to catch up.

The video viewing experience needs major work. It was better in the previous version, now it's slow and painful to find the content you're looking for. Rather just link me to YouTube if you're going to use their platform? The aesthetic of the new app might be nice, but overall it's a drop in UX. With a monopoly on decent sports broadcasting in SA, please at least ship out decent software. Edit: Thanks Karien for the response. Hope you guys manage to come right.

Still a useless app that cannot get the basics working, I login, get the successful pop up and then immediately after I get an access forbidden pop up! Seriously what does that even mean? Why is it happening? No reason is given, no explanation as to what I must do, nothing...

The app doesn't have the Bundesliga, can't view the table results. And the 3 minute highlights aren't good, there should be atleast 5 minute highlights. Please update.

Hi after switching phones I can't login it just says access forbidden on my new phone s23 ultra . I tried creating a new account also but same result access forbidden , it seems that supersport is not really interested in customer service anymore , very very very disappointed !!!. Hi supersport could you please inform the users if you are going to sort this issue out,still no response from supersport team regarding access forbidden issue and seems that many users are experiencing same issue !!!!

Dropped it from 3 stars to 1 star. The app don't allow me to log in as it keep telling me access forbidden. So I'm not able to load my favourites or watch any videos due to this. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but it does the same. Still cuts off the top team detail in table logs for various leagues. Beta also does the same.

What is the point of thanking me for valuable feedback if similar reviews dating to 2022 remain unattended. Yet again, Sevens rugby information is missing, not updated, and the series standings have never been available when checked this year. Standings and news have the same video news on both submenus.

Hi Karien, the reminders in the Supersport App always worked for all events where you can be reminded 5 mintues, 10 mintutes and 1 or 2 hours before the sporting event. It doesn't work anymore. It was so much easier with the events op Supersport App for rugby, cricket, tennis, F1 etc to set reminders. Not working anymore

Would have given a higher rating had it not been for the Not so user-friendly tv guide. There was a time, before a recent update, when one could quickly scan all Live sports planned for the weekend, but now you can't. You could select Show Live events (still can) for All Channels (no such option anymore) for the next few days and see a list of all Live events coming up. Can't plan our weekends easily anymore.

This app is rubbish to put it mildly. When a match finishes, for hours after the event, the score or result is neither on the schedule, nor on the results. The points table of the MoroGP is still the one of last season. There are major sporting events, where South Africa is represented, that are ignored totally, while boring oversees rubbish is always up to date! Rubbish, that is it!

The app is improved significantly since the initial change. The personalisation helpe tremendously with filtering relevant information. Can you please update the Super Rugby tabs. It is part of my list of preferred sports to follow but there is currently no info. No fixtures/results etc Ruined such a great app. Everything is just an information overload now. A complete mess. Even the "personalisation" is rubbish.

Oct 2020 version is terrible. Articles don't load, not even the thumbnails in feed. Worst of all - can't filter out sports you don't want even when signing up & signing in. Had I known they messed it up like that I would not have upgraded. Uninstalling. Edit: results, live and upcoming also faulty, loading slowly or not at all. Ads now very prominent and obtrusive. Edit II Nov: suspiciously many recent 5-star ratings with little or no comment - company/developers cheating for better rating!!
