Well I downloaded the app about 2 months ago, and have yet to be 'verified.' I've tried reaching out for help, BUT there are no real people to get any answers from or at least how much longer until I'll get verified.. Summer time is literally going to be over before I'll get approved to actually use the app.. Just plain ridiculous.. There is no reason it should take this long, & makes the app useless imo..

I registered my pool to rent. I am not able to get into the app from my phone. It keeps saying my email is not valid. I can only get in to the app from a computer. So if I'm out or away from my computer and someone requests to book I can't respond. I've sent swimply over 10 messages asking for help or to fix the problem. They took a week to respond and all they said when they did respond is are you still having this problem? No help at all, very unprofessional. 3 weeks and still no help!

Absolutely LOVE the premise of the app! My household used it 5x last week, WHAT?! But it definitely does have some bugs, especially in the chat feature. It crashes a LOT when you're trying to message your hosts.. And the jump in price per hour from 5ppl to 6ppl is outrageous! Hopefully, those kinks will be worked out rather quickly now that the app is starting to take off some more. By far, my favorite part of the app is its referral program. Keep sending me credits & I'll keep signing ppl up!!

so many issues like needing constant updates that breaks more things than help. forced to download a keyboard that just really messed up my entire phone use experience just so I wouldn't have url typing in a message, little to no or super late notifications for messages and booking notifications, poor placement of buttons to decline or approve booking requests. I've had to update at least 4 times in the last few weeks.

the service is cool, but the app needs a LOT of work. if you're looking for a booking at a specific date and time it will show you listing that may not actually be available, and you'll find that out when you're trying to pay. However, the app doesn't automatically show you what IS available. It's rare when hosts block out booked times for users to see availability. Also if you try to enlarge a picture, the only way to go back is closing the app and rebooting.

Great concept. Me and my friends were initially excited to use it. However bad issues, needs overhaul. 1, no notification if reservation went through. 2, logged me out multiple times each attempt to message owner. 3, owner says reserved certain hours for me, but those hours display as reserved by someone else....etc. Ruined a weekend relying on the app. Maybe should've done it well in advance. Don't rely on doing this on the road/same day or even extending the reserv on spot. Nightmare.

Ok I already posted a review prior to attending my reservation. My experience was excellent. Out host was kind, courteous and accomodating. The home was beautiful inside and out. Only complaint is the website and app. The website crashes so frequently I downloaded the app but even the app can glitch. Lots of options for my area at all different price ranges and accessories. This app is a genius idea. The Airbnb or pool rentals.

Y'all need to make the app more friendly to type free text into. Every box is so small I can only see one line at a time. And it is so hard to navigate. It took me 10 mins to find where to block out my pool. And I'm still looking for where to rate my guest because I didn't do it as soon as it popped up. It really is a beating this year, I don't like it. Everything is so separated. It would be nice if everything could be on one page. Or even an option to go into edit mode on the preview screen.

The app is TERRIBLE! It is so not user friendly. Filters reset every time you search...in the same session. Very difficult to move the price slider to where you want it. As a host, Swimply should disclose pricing FIRST. Went thru the whole setup and I still don't know what my cut is. No mention of insurance....y'all looking for lawsuits? Host should be able to do the amenities all at one time not each one individually especially if it's the same information. Needs a TON of work.

On a really hot day, after being stuck inside I took my two littles for a swim at someone's backyard. Their instructions after you book are easy to follow! And the experience was really fun and special even though we only got two hours. They added mist sprinklers and free floaties to play with in a pool all to ourselves. It was great. The Host was easy to chat with on app. Highly recommend to anyone who needs to cool down at a pool, for a good price!

I really like the concept of this app. I'm blind, and use a service called TalkBack to interact with apps on my phone, and there are a few areas of this app that don't make the most intuitive sense as currently communicated through talkback using this app, but overall I really enjoy it! One example of what I mean is after I write messages to hosts, the send button isn't announced as a send button. nevertheless, even being totally blind I'm able to use this app successfully.

If the host sends you a message via email, you can't see the entire message. You have to login to the app. It is difficult to find messages from the host. Instead, the app tries to guide you to make more bookings. The app should make communication between hosts and users easier to find. Also, the app will not let you share phone numbers with a host if there is a problem, so you have to break the phone number up into numbers with periods and spaces in between to get around the security feature.

awesome pools. minus one star for the hassle it takes to contact anyone at swimply. There are not available to chat even though there is that option and takes a while for them to respond. no contact #. app also can be super slow when I'm trying to type. If I am in the middle of a review and go to another page or answer the phone it erases everything instead of me being able to come back where I left off. Needs more options and to be user friendly. Can't see original post details once booked.

It's working ok for first booking, but lacks a lot of features and easier UI. For instance I had a customer change from a party of 8 to 6...which entitled them to a refund of 20$ (2 people for 2 hours)...I could find no way to do this in the app so gave them cash. This is fine if I am home...if I am away it means we would need to meet outside of the reservation time. Photo upload on the app is awkward. Shows the ability to zoom in or out, but just snaps back to the default view which is wrong

The app is an amazing idea I love that I can book pools for private use at a reasonable price. But the app itself isn't very intuitive. My recent bookings have disappeared and I'm not able to search for pools since accidentally clicking "add my own pool". I've had to use the browser site in lieu of the app to fix these bugs. Also having to select a time to use the pool before searching is a pain. I'd like to be able to search for the pool, then see it's availability as well.

I think this is a really cool app, but the searching can be improved. I should be able to filter what distance I want to travel... Why am I seeing places over 20 miles away? Also, I would love to be able to sort based on total price of the amenities selected. Like, if I want a heated pool, I should be able to sort based on pool cost + heating, especially since each pool's prices vary so greatly!

This review is just for the app, the service is great. The app is horrible and has gotten worse. At this point it's long enough that the app should have been improved. The 1st year it was understandable as they worked things out but now it should be better not worse. Can't contact host w/o putting in dates. App disables mic on speak to text. Some messages don't reach host or renter. The list goes on and on! most frustrating is that the app causes rentals to not happen!

The booking experience works well, but the messaging portion of the app is terrible. Messages are delayed, you can't send pictures. Worst of all, Swimply forbids you from exchanging phone numbers, so you have to message through them. Also, a woman wanted to tip me after a great visit to our pool, and Swimply got all up in my business when I attempted to share my Venmo with her.

This app doesn't hold hosts accountable for listing false information. I drove 36 miles to go to a pool I booked over an hour away, and I was turned away with nothing but a refund being told the pool wasn't available even though it was listed as being available. It also listed that pets could swim in the pool, and I was told they could not. This was my last straw. I tried to book 2 other pools with similar issues, but this one was the furthest away. Don't use this app!

It doesn't allow you to enter a search past 1 month in future. You have to search each listing you are interested in individually for your specified date, if it's more than 1 month away. Also when you click the go back arrow to return to a previous page, under the same profile, it takes you all the way back to the main search screen. And all locations don't allow BBQ grills, but that's not an option to filter your search. You have to check each acct again. Very poor layout and format.
