Really good app for PC and mobile. I wouldn't buy it for 40 bucks. Doesn't seem amazing g for learning piano. For labeling chords, though. This thing is amazing. Just sitting down and playing some chords and having the name automatically is super helpful. Especially for someone less fluent in theory. And more fluent in playing by ear.

This is the best piano learning app and in the best price compared to the competition. MIDI IS suported. I love that it also works on Windows with the same key (if purchased from Windows). I don't like that there's no sync between the windows and android app so that I can see my favorite songs in both and also share my progress.

love it! It's great app to learn to play a piano. Especially useful if you have piano with midi connectivity or midi keyboard. Also many thanks to developers who did not go the greedy path like others with subscription payment.

The fact that this app allows you to make a one time purchase instead of a pricey subscription makes this app the only option for me. and the fact that you can download midi files and have the app recognise them made me feel a form of pure glee. Seriously. Well done. My only complaint is that the menus are difficult to navigate through and the app needs some more on screen keyboard options other than the full 88. Not the most intuitive interface but boy, does this app get the job done.

I love this app, but there are some issues with it. It keeps randomly locking itself, saying (no connection to store) despite prior purchase. Only way to fix this is to restart multiple times. My internet is indeed working. I think having the key labels on the sheet music would be amazing

I like the game and all, but I couldn't find how to start doing the piano part. But other than that I like the game. 🙂. The piano go's so fast I couldn't keep up that well So, it tried to keep up I tried one of the easiest ones " Mary had a little lamb " and though it was one of the easiest ones it still was to hard for me. I would suggest learn piano before trying this app.

I love this app. I've tried to learn sheet music many times but end up getting bored or frustrated, and I do not practise enough. At first, I didn't want to "cheat" by using the falling notes, but now I don't care because they allow me to play songs I want to play and enjoy them! Maybe someday I'll learn to read sheet music, but after all, it was originally the only possible way of reading music, and now, in the age of computers, falling notes is just a new way of reading music!

I loved using this app, it tought me a couple of songs, and now that I have a real piano, I've mastered them, but something happened I'm not too sure if it was an update or not but, foe some reason the white keys are SO much smaller now, so it's really hard to even press them, even if I zoom out. They are like the same size as the black keys. Please fix this and I will rate this 5 stars!

Great but it would be great to have some slightly bigger buttons on mobile..also maybe a way to create loops which doesn't require you to hit the tiny pause key first. Additionally when scrubbing through the track the start of it is at the very left of the screen meaning your fingers actually leave the screen if you want to scrub to the start. This is uncomfortable and messy. Also, it would be great to see the measure numbers do I can get a clear idea of the part I'm learning..cough..playing 😃

This game is great for playing new songs and getting new songs . But the only problem I have is whenever I play a song everytime when I have to hold two or freeze thingers down it doesn't stop playing those notes even if I let go. This makes me mess up and it makes my game freeze. Please fix this. After all, a great game

App Made for Digital keyboard. This app is exactly designed to learn piano. All of the features were available. You just need to know how to use it for your own needs. Otg connection, midi files synchronisation, piano sheets. They connect automatically. Simply a WOW app. I purchased it last year for my piano journey in my phone which is one time purchase. Best decision ever made. If you want to move from beginner to intermediate this would be the best. I suggest not to waste money on other apps.

Best app ever! However here 2 suggestion When we choose a song, there's a list for the selected song (example:" introduction" "Line chart", "Progress breakdown" and "Points earned" It would be awesome if "rated star" would be on the list. It would be faster because I use to play recebt songs but I cannot rate-it from there. 2- the .rtx file work on the app if you open the file with synthesia, however they aren't list and cannot be found even if I selected the folder in which they are in.

While the app is mostly great, there are a couple of issues with it. Upon attempting to go to the support page to report said issues, the only platform available was a forum, which I, like many others I'm sure, refuse to use for problem reports. One of the issues I had: when you exit the app (hit home to go to your launcher) then go back into the app, it creates duplicate entries of usb midi devices in the settings. More issues with midi devices but not enough space here.

I love Synthesia, bought the pc version years ago - however my unlock code is not working for the android version. Whatever is typed into the field, the screen rotates out of landscape for the keyboard and when it is submitted it reverts back to landscape and appears to not process the code. It works fine on my chromebook. 🤷‍♂️ UPDATE - I FIXED IT, but I had to plug in a USB (typing) keyboard and use that to type the code. Definitely a bug though. All my info got wiped. I opened the app today to find the theme back to default. I simply switched it back to the one I use and continued on, but then found out all my progress on every song was gone including the adjustments I had made. It also no longer recognized that I had paid to unlock it. Re-entering my key, while it did unlock again, did not restore my progress nor did restarting my phone. No more motivation to practice today after having that happen... :( Edit: Also not a profile issue

Pretty bummed out to open synthesia today and discover that YEARS of data saved has disappeared. All of it. All of my song progress, statistics, recently played, everything. You name it, it's gone. Really sucks because I have thousands of midis on my device. That data helped me identify the songs I want to practice. I really can't tell you just how bad it sucks to have lost all of my data. All of it. Other than that pretty big complaint, I have no complaints.

I've learned more songs in my four years of playing piano than with any other music software. But I have a suggestion. For everyone who doesn't have a MIDI keyboard, the app should have a sort of microphone operated sound detection algorithm (or whatever you would call it) which allows for the app to register what sounds come from the piano and show them on the screen via the audio feedback from the microphone. It's a genius idea and I think it will benefit all who don't own a MIDI keyboard.

Is just a port of the Desktop version. All of the shortcuts are for a computer keyboard, and the progress bar is broken. If you have measure lines on, you can't see any in-song settings and have to tap randomly around the screen and hope you hit the toggle switch. Even then, you can't do much. With sheet music, the falling notes are covered. In general, a bad app. But it is synthesia, just the computer version.

Fantastic and fun. I've improved so much faster than when I was just watching YouTube tutorials. Was able to easily connect to my keyboards USB midi interface, and it was responsive and quick to display on my phone when I played the keys on the keyboard. Just make sure you have the right USB cables and adapters for your keyboard or else this is probably useless on mobile.

Don't get me wrong, this app is fantastic, but some instruments in the built-in soundfont on the mobile version are of noticably lower quality compared to the PC version, most notably the piano instruments. I had this app back when the built-in soundfont was introduced, and when it was first introduced, all the instruments in that soundfont sounded the exact same between the PC and mobile versions. I would greatly appreciate it if this problem is fixed in a later update.
