Tried to set it up while vacationing in Florence but never received the necessary verification code to create an account. The developers' claim that the response was being blocked by T-Mobile is nonsense - I successfully set up a number of apps while visiting Italy using a similar procedure. An email to them went unanswered.

Does not work with US phone numbers. (and many other countries judging from comments here) I am in Florence and see these beautiful buses but am unable to ride them! The TABNET app does not work. Contactless credit cards were suspended due to covid. Bus drivers don't want to sell tickets. The only place it seems you can buy tickets is at the train station -- which is where I'm trying to take the bus!

the app worked quite well for Florence area transport tickets. But I find it extremely awkward, that it is only available in Italian (I could use it since I know Spanish, but for most foreigners it's not gonna be feasible to use it at all)

I tried my credit card, my wife's credit card, and our joint credit card. All appeared to be accepted but none would work. I tried to send an email but the email address given in the app doesn't work. So I tried phoning. A recording told me to call another number. Not only does the app not work, it is impossible to contact anybody to try to remedy the situation. Further: the app claims that my codice fiscale is invalid

I have installed the, the app recognised my UK mobile number, but the list of cities does not include Firenze. So I can't get passed that point. I I understood that the app was for public transport within a city rather than between cities. Have I done something wrong?

It keeps freezing. What am I supposed to do if the app freezes and I can't activate my ticket? Am I going to get fined?? It should also be available in English as a minimum. And the rules should be stated somewhere. Can multiple people use the same app on the same device if multiple tickets are activated? I have no idea because it's not explained anywhere.

I have tried for months to register my phone number with this app. I put it in I have done "001" I have done "01" I have done just "1" and everytime it says that they are sending me a text message and I never get it. I left my phone on the app and did not let it turn off for 30 minutes and no text. I have emailed the company and 3 weeks later no response.

It crashed and it stole a ticket. I don't know why all the apps for public transport in Rome are this bad. This is the worst of all. Very slow, crashes and steals the tickets baught and not yest activated. It simply dispaierd. Maybe the API that you are forced to work with is to blame, but this does not excuse you having a buffer or something as a solution. You could buy tickets in bulk and sell them fast to the user and keep track of the activation. In this way the user experience improves.

Changed my review to 3 stars as i have managed to get the app working both with my mobile and credit card. Find friendly Italian to help setting it up. Still its appalling that it is only availabe in Italian language, there is no excuse why it shouldn't have other language options. UI is poorly implemented, loading times can be improved.

It does not work anymore on android. Update: Thank you for your response! I have tried reinstalling the app several times and once again today. The same message appears: Oops! Il servizio è momentaneamente non disponibile! Riprova più tardi! I am aware of other users of android phones who have the same issue. It does work on iPhone, as far as I know.

After the new update I cannot access my old tickets (and I had many), I cannot purchase any new ones and I cannot even update my account. Who the hell is releasing these half done apps is beyond me

Topped up amount needed for journey, confirmed, money taken from my bank account, showing on tabnet account as successful but will not let me buy a ticket for the exact amount I have topped up with so useless scam app

The recent upgrade blocked me because my German phone number was too long to be recognised as valid. I sent an email to support at 6am and at 12 I received a phone call from Roberta, who was very knowledgeable and fixed my problem in a couple of minutes. I work for a software company, and I am pleased in the rare occasions when support solves problem via direct access to competent and efficient expert.

The app is not designed with the customer needs in mind. I use public transport (Buses) for work and I need to provide a receipt for when I use the service and not for the purchase of the ticket. The app does not allow to download a receipt like we have for a normal bus ticket. I hope the developers will improve it.

this app is a joke. I dont know who allows italians to creat apps. you dont have an idea how to work on that. previously I was using this app with no issue. now, probably after some unsuccessful /unfinished updates it gives me errors and doesn't recognise my profile. i asked for forgot my password, guess what? it never was sent to solve this! you should study IT as a subject before you touch this, very annoying experience. before anything is launched, should you try the pilot first?

Does not work well. Sometimes it gets stuck at the title screen. At other times it takes a long time to load a ticket. There are also many error messages when pending tickets in order to activate them. I'm worried that the app will not work when there is a ticket check on the bus. ADDITION: While I appreciate the answer below, it does not seem correct. Today, the app told me that I need to be connected to the internet to activate a ticket.
