Would be great if I could turn off the notifications and they'd actually stay off. Idk if it's a bug, or if it's the intended design, but I have to turn off the notifications every couple of hours. Ive tried 12 times in the last few days. I get over 30 repeating notifications a day, saying a person liked me. It's annoying almost to the point of making me delete the app.

Would like it a whole lot more if half the actions weren't used to swipe left on the same 20 people that they keep showing, despite the three or four times I swiped no on them already. The interface is a bit messy, it used to be much nicer but this new "cards" interface makes it really glitchy. Could be a lot better, and the paywalls are ridiculous, but two stars anyways, given that it's been going through a lot of updates. Sincerely hoping some of the problems get fixed.

Complete 💩show. Filters do not work. I resorted to blocking users instead of disliking them in hopes of them not appearing again. They're back in the rotation in two minutes. I receive message notifications, but the mesaages never show up. The app deletes full conversations. Since the new update, it has deleted two matches, one of which I can't get back after a month of talking, and the other, the app wants me to pay more for "throwbacks" even though I never unliked the person.

This is still a poorly designed and poorly programmed app, but it's a bit better off than the last time I left a review. That's not saying much, though. My latest complaint is that the app does not save your notification preferences. I turn off useless notifications, then the app turns them all back on. I don't need multiple, spammy messages every day.

I don't want 6 notifications every 15 minutes, but this stupid app keeps changing in app settings for notifications. I only want notifications for new messgaes and matches. Seriously... Yes, I've changed in app settings. They keep getting reset so that all notifications are on without my permission. I ended up muting all notifications from the app.

More features are being changed to paid features, now it's read receipts. This app will soon not be 'free'. The notifications are also harassing constantly and even if you shut off specific categories, they are turned back on within a day, which leads to your notification bar being bloated by spam messages. I would not recommend this app at all.

This is a really cute app and the culture on it is overall pretty healthy! I've already befriended some really cool people :) it's nice that it caters to different communication styles, too. You can send audio messages and pictures The only gripe I have is that it resets your notification settings periodically, lol. So even if you have them turned totally off, sometimes you still get them.

Extremely spammy and glitchy. The app has the bad habit of CONSTANTLY sending you notifications saying things like "X checked your profile, check them back!" Or "Give X the gift of love" and there's no way to turn it off, at one point I was getting 3-5 notifications EACH HOUR. Aside from the spam, the app is prone to glitches such as marking read messages as unread, buttons straight up not working and requiring multiple taps, etc.

Money grab now. So it seems you have to pay a separate price for Explore which was included in Tinder Gold. Much cheaper just to go to Bumble. With gold membership you used to get boost as well as unlimited likes , now you are limited. I honestly get more features with Bumble or Tinder for the same price. Update: Now in order to travel to another city you have to pay $14.99 per city !!!

Honestly, this is one of the few dating apps I've actually liked, but everytime it updates, it resets the notification settings. Plus, with one of the recent updates, they started locking chats that you haven't messaged yet after 24 hrs, so if you open the notification and then forget that you matched with someone, you can't go back and message them without having a subscription. I absolutely hate when simple things are locked behind a paywall, it's the reason I've deleted every other dating app

Generally the matches I get have been better than other apps, but the app itself is rough. It freezes often, and it sends an ungodly amount of push notifications. I've tried multiple times to turn off some of the push notifications and it doesn't save. Good lord y'all Update 4/23: it's worse now. Now I get notifications from rainbow likes that don't seem to exist, and they're repeating.

Unfortunate that this is the "best" we got. I don't want to pay for upgrades because it doesn't clearly specify what you receive. Lots of "more" and "up to" phrases that we all know are set up to entice but not deliver or just saying you can get more features but no limit info & can change without notice (TOS). You don't even know how many "actions" come with the free version or any others. There's basically no transparency... on a trans friendly app... Chile I guess this is all we got 😅

Cute app but very flawed. Search criteria (age&distance) are not applied when looking at profiles, so I'm getting people much younger than me and more than twice the max distance I've set---if they're even /in/ this state. I have to Google most locations to figure out how far away they are. There's only one option for notifications, so I either have to get one every single time someone likes my profile, etc, or not get anything at all including messages. I'm disappointed so far. :/

Going down hill. I've been with taimi since essentially launch due to randomly finding it. The rapid decline in app is painful. Features that were included and free are now locked behind a paywall. Want to message someone? Paywall. Want to set your location somewhere? Paywall. Likes? Limited and paywall. The changes youre making have not improved the app in the slightest. The UI/UX is still delayed and clunky. Useful features are constantly getting removed. Severely disappointed.

Impossible to set a distance setting so more than half the profiles I'm shown are over 1000 miles away. And no matter what I do (other than buy premium I'm sure), the app will only show me the exact same list of people in the same order on repeat any time I use it, regardless of how I responded to their profile before. My own displayed location is way too specific - not just my suburb or township, but my neighborhood. Profiles are very limited outside of photos and the About Me section.

There's much better apps. Especially if you're afab/woman/enby and looking for those people as well. I've had the app for a year now, it's just getting worse and worse. They show you the same 100 people no matter how many times you swipe no. Even if you set your settings to a certain age and gender, you will primarily see men. Even extremely old men. It's really uncomfortable and I've had a lot of awful experiences with dating the people on this app. It's a hot mess; not worth the time or money.

There's no equivalent to swiping left to reject someone that likes you. The only option is to review their profile and block them and "Blocking" is a limited action to whether you pay for a subscription and even if you do pay you only get so many "Actions" also, I've blocked people and they still ended up finding me again later so blocking must expire. It's the perfect system for stalkers to thrive. Distance filter doesn't work. It considers people 2hr drive "near by" I only date within 35 miles

This app is better than I expected it to be! I'm in the Jersey area and the app typically doesn't show me anybody insanely far, which is cool. The people are pretty friendly as well! My only drawback for not rating it higher is when you're matching with people, the app freezes and resets and shows you people you've passed on, contributing that to the limited likes/passes you can send. I just updated the app so hopefully that may be fixed by tomorrow!

Would you like to interact with anyone? Better go elsewhere. People can like you, message you, etc. but you can interact with them in any way unless you pay. The most basic features of any sort of similar apps are locked behind a pay wall, though obviously this is not advertised. There are apparently 3 tiers of membership, but apparently the "bronze" or free version includes zero features. You need at least "silver" for basic features. Whatever the "gold" includes is beyond me.

Without paying you basically can't use the app, I was sucker enough to buy the cheaper of the two premium options, because it included all the perks I wanted, however, as the months have gone by the slowly cut what perks the cheaper option gave, to the point that it's basically like having the free version of what most apps offer, distance filter is a joke, if you don't like someone or unmatch them then you'll just see them again in a few days. Stay away. Riding out till premium runs out.
