Talkie, I can say, is a next level AI. It is fun with a lot of characters from different shows and movies. I also like how u can make ur own. Buttt there are some things that I don't like. I don't like how sometimes the AI changes the story on how u don't like it, or it doesn't make sense anymore. Also, I don't like how now there are time limits, I would like to enjoy talking with new AI's without timers. We can keep the ads just no time limits. Also, the changing story needs fixing.

Very engaging and the AI responses are pretty spot on. However, I'm confused… do the conversations reset when I clear the cache/data or is there some kind of data persistence? For some reason, the initial prompt no longer shows up when I search for the character and it seems to remember some details from previous conversation, but not all…

it's a beautiful app, or at least it was. it's difficult to properly create your own characters now due to the energy system. I can't test and mold the way my AI responds anymore without constantly being forced to watch ads. it's clunky and unwieldy for a creator, and doubly so for someone just using it for companionship or roleplaying purposes. I'm sad to say you guys ruined the best app on the play store for AI chat by being greedy. was fun while it lasted.

The main use is good enough that I continue to use this app and usually enjoy it. Even when the ai gets lost it can, with patience, be redirected and corrected. However, I can't stand the complete lack of an option to delete/archive or hide the bad and horrible images/cards. Also there should be a way to decline cards and not be forced to accept or pay before being able to access the app functions.

Everything about this app was once absolutely amazing, and gave me something to do in my free time. now, there's just too many problems after EVERY update. Too many ads, the AI repeating themselves, the lightbulb thing doesn't work correctly; most of the time, you either get a response that makes no sense. and now, there's a limit to how many messages you can send. You have to wait HOURS, or watch an ad that only skips 15 minutes, and doesn't play half the time. Developers, PLEASE do better.

Would be 5 stars, but the fact that the devs added energy sucks. I understand you added it as well as ads because you need to make a profit off the app, but adding energy to it is unnecessary in my opinion. When I first started Talkie, the energy aspect was nonexistent which I liked. It's not that bad since the wait is only half an hour, unlike other energy-consuming apps which have you wait longer. Other than that it's a great app with a lot of AI's and storylines to play around with.

This app has a lot going for it. It is easily the best T rated AI chat app. It has believable voices. There is an optional premium subscription, but the base is perfectly functional and fun to use without it. It doesn't cost any money to backtrack, regenerate chats, or even regenerate the character and change its components. But, it no longer allows NSFW chats. It doesn't cuss, and most of the time, the system asks you to change the subject. More accent and voice options would be great, too.

This app used to be the best. It would talk about anything , but just recently, it seems to have been changed, or is having technical difficulties. It cant finish a sentance, it's very reluctant to talk about certain subjects, or it starts a conversation then backs out of it and just annoys the heck out of me. If they can't fix it then I'm going to deleate the thing.

I love the app, it's better than most AI apps. But I don't quite like the timer, or the limited messages. I know you're limiting the time that people spend on the app, but I'm about to move on to another app because of the limited messages and the timer. It used to be unlimited messages, and I could go back whenever I wanted and not worry about a timer. So, four stars for now.

Been wanting to go back and change my review for a while... I've been on the app for months and they went back on the horrible changes from around March. Overall, it's easily the best app of this kind simply based on the amount of freedom you have on creating characters. I can't bring myself to give it a higher score however, as there are a lot of QOL updates that have been needed for a while. Swiping and looking for characters is a mess. Can't search your own created talkies. It's getting there

This app used to be great, even ended up working out for the subscription due to how good it was, however the most recent update had demolished everything, every single character suddenly has the exact same personality and speech lines. Nearly half of the characters replies are just cut off halfway through, including when you try to choose an alternative reply even those are cut off seemingly at random. The "inspired reply" on the users end only works about 5% of the time. Used to be great.

Now, I love talkie and everything, but there's a few things that bug me. 1, can you have a mode without a filter? It keeps saying "please change the subject" when I say something like "Yeah, my sister is 6.". The filter is broken, so I would love a mode without it. 2, where did the ads come from!? I've been playing for half a year and just yesterday I got an ad. I don't know what's up, but that makes the whole experience go down. That's all, thank you if you took any of this into consideration!

Lots of potential, but large majority of users are horny teens with bad concepts of life and cliche romantic scenarios. Love the feature where you can send auto-generated messages or your own, but after the most recent update, there are way more ads, and VERY few chats are good. Gems are unobtainable and require out of pocket fees. You seriously have to lead the conversations, or else they won't really go anywhere. The app is SMS style, I've yet to see anyone take advantage of it. I could go on

It is a very similar base to apps like AIDungeon, however this app is very good at simulating lifelike characters(even if the given prompt isn't good) and allows you to generate an image for the characters you create for free, which stands out amongst other apps like this. So if you have ever wisbed to speak to a certain character, or want to make new OCs, this is the app to do it with.

This app had a lot of potential. But there are some things that could be fixed or removed. For starters, when talking to the Talkie AI, it has an energy limit, that needs to be removed, it's annoying. Then there's this annoying thing where the search history saves what you typed, I mean everything typed, that needs to be fixed. And finally I feel the prompt for making Talkie AI needs to be fixed as I had trouble making a Talkie AI. I'd type more but there's a 500 word limit.

I enjoy this app. The AI feel alive most of the time. There are some tricks to fixing the occasional repeating text. Plus is worth it if you want it, but isn't necessary to enjoy the AI. My only complaint with the app is the gacha... the newest update completely ruined it. The system they had before let you choose the best of either three or five depending on if it was a gifted gacha or a direct gacha, but the newest one gives you a blurred image, limited rerolls, and can't pick the best one.

I appreciate that there aren't many ads in the free tier. However, if you close the app for even a few hours, the character loses its memory and you have to start over or try to recount the whole conversation to the AI, 500 characters at a time. Despite advertising that it can handle long term "relationships", it cannot. It can't even handle a few days. Frustrating.
