I like that this app has a lot more of a selection than the naver webtoons. however aside from the first few ch, you have to unlock every other subsequent. which isn't really that big of a deal because they have a system where you can download&try new games or watch ads for credits to unlock a chapter. Great right? Not really, because it bugs out half the time&you spend more time waiting for these ads to load. It's generous in the sense that you have the potential to save pts, but doesn't load.

Great stories!! But its pay to read. You get 3 free episodes and no way to get free episodes unless you pay actual money. You could watch a bunch of adds to get points but its way over priced and that's even if the ads given you the free points. As of right now all I can do is play a bunch of bad games to get a few points to watch the next chapter. If they fix the free point bug or at least give a few episodes free every day I would be more inclined to spend actual money every once and a while.

Good app but other comic apps have ways to earn "tokens". Or whatever payment system they use. Or they offer some free content. Not so here. With this app, there are a couple of episodes that are free on each comic and then all the remaining story would have to be paid for. It's $10 or more per story. I agree the artists need compensation. Having a way to earn tokens by watching ads or completing offers would make it more versatile. There are just better apps out there with that option.

This app has great stories and I'm definitely hooked. However after free parts of a story, you have to use tokens(t) which cost money or waste your time watching 30 ads which=300 free points(fp). Each chapter needs exactly 300 points which means a lot of time need to be spent watching ads. The prices for tokens are a bit overpriced... the best option is ofc the $99 which gives you about 800 t and a couple hundred fp. When I watch an ad, it doesn't give me my free points 😤.

The stories are great,the artwork is good and there are plenty of offers for getting free points. However, I've completed several of these offers spending days and sometimes weeks to get to the required level only to not receive my points once back in Tappytoons. Fix this issue with the points and I can see giving more stars. Until then there isn't much point in me having this app.

Addictive and good stories. Also cool that we support the artists through our payments. Two annoying things: to see our tokens and points, we have to leave the current comic and return to the home page. Instead of that, the app should allow us to just pull the menu bar to view it. 2nd: some of us don't have money to keep buying tokens. wish there was another way like watching ads to make up for it.

Download and instantly delete. I strongly dislike the point, ticket, and waiting options. Even with the monthly option to pay for easier access and reduced time to unlock content, it is still unbearable. Would rather have a subscription service that unlocks all content, and then users who do not want to subscribe could do that pay as you go or wait methods. How irritating to pay a subscription and then still be subjected to the point, ticket, and waiting to read options.

I've been using this app for a long while now, and it's a good app to read a variety of manhwa/novels. One way to get free points to buy content is to watch ads. Watching ads take a long time since you get 10 points per ad & you need 300 points. Recently, the ad watching option started malfunctioning and constantly says "no videos available in your region." Only works for 1-3 ads before it gives that msg again. Updated app, but problem still exists. I'll keep this rating until issue is resolved.

Ads sometimes do not register as being watched, or no ads are available at all making it very hard to earn points, ongoing Offers to earn free points no longer registers completion of tasks, so again no points can be earned, even when you reach out to support a d provide proof of completion, they use to be really good at fixing the problems. I do like the Unlocked section added awhile ago, but still no zoom capabilities or any additional filtering/sorting options added to the library.

Not perfect but been using it for years. I personally enjoy their options more than webtoon. This is where I read all the manwhas that are now turning into animes. You do have to spend money but 20 bucks gets you a good amount of chapters and it really isn't much it's improved in this aspect now they do points it was stupid tokens before not anymore. All of them give the first few chapters for free at least the first 3 are always free so if you're feeling it then you can spend the points.

First time purchasing a 1 year subscription to this type of app, assuming that I could read however much I can, but it turns out you are still LIMITED. The first 3 episodes are relatively free, but afterward, you need points to UNLOCK more episodes. I am disappointed with this. They don't even give you enough points to unlock one full season, at least. Please look elsewhere.

I have been on this app for years without issue but all my data was suddenly wiped from my account. Is there any way to fix that? I bought a LOT of content and it's gone because of something going wrong in the system. I have e-mailed 3-4 times with no response. If someone would like to reach out to ME as a DISGRUNTLED customer then by all means because I have done all I can. I DO NOT recommend this app because if your account has problems it's way to hard to get the help you need.

I love that there are many comics that are available daily!! When I'm unable to purchase coins to be able to continue I still have options available which is great. I only have one or two opinions about the occasional unavailability of chapters and even points/coins that have been earned that disappear as if I didn't have them which is really frustrating especially when I have paid for them. I quite enjoy the manga!!!

Soo...for the most part this app has been running smoothly. The only problem is a few days ago the ads watching option is not working. While the cost on Tappytoon is not expensive compared to many other companies and the offering is good I have to supplement my spending with ads watching. I do not have the time or energy to do the challenges. Can you fix the ads watching option please?!? __Thank you, yes, the tech support has responded and helped to fix the ad watching option.

Not bad, but three things: 1. When you open a chapter, it doesn't load the whole chapter so may need to keep stopping and waiting for it to load. Super annoying, especially when on the bus or train. 2. Doesn't have as many daily free webcomics as webtoons. 3. When you unlock a chapter, I hate how it opens it up for you without keeping your bookmark. The other day, I unlocked a bunch as chapters were on sale and it was such a pain unlocking like 40 chapters. Unlock, opens, go back, load x40.

Ok selection of various comics although the editing is poor for most and alot go massively overboard with the censorship it ruins the fun of reading any of those. It seems there is zero proof reading done to the vast majority of the comics, including the real popular ones like solo leveling etc. My biggest issue is how I spent money to buy the points to unlock more "chapters" of different comics but apparently that isn't permanent it is just a rental, it reset me to the start of several. Waste $

there are stories missing whole parts leading to the story becoming completely incoherent, and it's almost impossible to get any help with it. Prices going up; promotion, and refills going down. It's getting worse. It does have some of the novel versions, but I'm on the fence on if it's worth the price or not. It's not. Half the stories are terribly translated in the novels, and the comics can be missing whole sections.

Pretty much all of the good comics are behind a paywall. There is an option to watch ads for free coins, but I have wasted roughly one-half hour of my life watching ads on this app with ZERO PAYOUT. Each ad watched was at least 20 seconds, putting me through 90 ads with nothing to show for it except wasted time. Webtoon is way more reliable on its promises to provide content after watching ads.

The mangas on this app are really good, and they continue to bring in even more promising mangas. They also have an ad option for getting points, which is nice for people who currently aren't able to work because of life issues. unlike some of the other manga apps out there that have gotten rid of their ad feature. It had been a little touch and go a little while ago, but after the recent updates, the ads have been working without issues. Overall, this is an app that's worth the install.

I love Tappytoon and I have been using this app for years now. A down point that I have noticed is that some of the stories that I paid for get reset/have to repay to open them back up. This doesn't happen to all of them only a select few. But it sucks that I can't re-read some of my favorites especially since longer stories can get expensive overtime.
