Best of the best application for translation. I am Swahili interpreter and I have been able to help so many refugees. Tarjimly is the best translation app ever. Through this app I have achieved a lot in the course of helping humankind which gives me a lot of happiness.

The fact if you are a volunteer and helping others makes you not be able to use the app for other languages if you need help with is a big downside. I can translate couple of languages . But if I need help myself with other language then I can't use it myself. I just need to make another account for that

I was trying to use the app for 3 weeks volonteering as translator. For that time I got around 10 requests to help, but never got possibility to help, as the message says someone else has taken the request. I believe is FAKE APP, they just collecting your data and all your personal details. Those options like: need a help, and connect with support does not work, I mean by pushing on them nothing happens. Is fake guys, don't even waste your time on this .

I signed up about 5 months ago. I never got a notification despite of making sure all notifications are turned on and permissions allowed. I get requests sometimes when I open the app by chance and it's always too late. I am from Algeria and I noticed that other people I know from Algeria who signed up on the app do not receive requests too, could it be something related to location? PS: I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, using another device and reaching out to Tarjimly team

The app doesn't work well. I can't enter the languages I speak. Whenever I try to do so, the app crashes and if I try to open the app and re-login, it directs me to "Languages" and it will just crash again. I have tried to force close the app, reinstall the app, restart my phone, use a different phone to access the app but nothing worked.

Great concept to help people in urgent need. Room for improvement: 1) Please update the option for calling, there should be some permission given by the translator/interpreter before a call is made, I have received requests to translate text but straight away get a call. 2) Please have the option to keep conversations unless of course the requestor deems it sensitive, for example it will be simpler to refer to mistakes, improve efficiency in translation, etc.

Whatever I try to do in the app, I always see the 'Congratulations! You're now an official Tarjimly translator! Yay!' screen. Whenever I try to accept an incoming request, the 'Yay!' message is shown as well, rendering the application useless. I have the latest update, and give the audio recording permissions explicitly every time I try to use the app, if that helps your debugging. Will keep this app till next update, then I'm afraid I'll uninstall it as malfunctioning one.

Received many translation requests (docs and call). Never could take part in a single one because the app always crashes the moment I accept the request. I wonder why publishing an app if it's not developed well enough!

One year down the line with Tarjimly and I have never regretted working with Tarjimly as a translator. The rating system is dodgy. Was this impactful or meaningful session, if you're asking us then we need to have other options too. Many of sessions are not impactful or meaningful but not also bad. its only good for advertising the company. Also after over 60 session I didn't receive any kind of support or get official title is discouraging. If you wouldn't offer the premium service then we knew it's all charity. But this way is just free work . Especially when sessions take over 30 mins

This app has been a complete lifesaver. Yes - sometimes the connection is poor but it is better than nothing. I have been working with refugees all summer and this app has given them a voice and also allowed me to explain things so much faster than I could have otherwise. Interpreters can be so expensive, and sometimes you just need to communicate something simple. Having this at my fingertips for FREE has helped so many individuals.

As a caseworker with refugees, this app has been invaluable. I have used it maybe a few dozen times now, for short and long conference calls (using premium subscription, which is a great deal!). Typically the interpreter was available right away or in a few minutes, but I have had a few times where I was waiting but did not get an interpreter after even 5-10 minutes. There have been a few tech issues in the past but they're always cleared up - seems like the team is actively improving the app.

A great live translation app with many languages that Google Translate, iTranslate etc don't have. You get a live human translator/interpreter, not AI or a built interactive dictionary app--but totally confidential. Free version is great for 2 people in same location (using same phone on speaker) who don't speak the same language. Paid versions allow communication betw 2 people remotely (speaking different languages) over their 2 phones (with translator on a third phone). Good tool for refugees.
