After 3 years today was the last straw. Last update was a disaster, screwed up trades twice in the last 3 weeks costing me money. Today, during my most reliable trade setup, the app wouldn't even load. I un-installed and reinstalled in a flurry. Turned on and off my phone, but to no avail. I watched the trade go by and cost me the opportunity of a near max profit trade over a 30 minute time window. I've had enough. They're more concerned with a superfluous flashy front-end than stability.

I have been using tasty for more than 7 years now, never have I seen improvement in performance and stability. They change the front end often but never look at how the app is functioning. App freezes everytime I login, to place a trade it takes forever, the quotes are frozen every few seconds, to place a single trade have to login 2 or 3 times and still no luck sometimes. Extremely disappointed with tasty team!

Good broker, app needs work. Absolutely murders your battery. The other day it used 76% of my battery running in the background for 5 hours. Basically have to be plugged in at all times. Putting orders in is a bit chunky compared to the desktop, especially when replacing an order. Charts are incredibly hard to read, no access to account management features. Essentially it's good to have on hand for quick trades but you better have a PC nearby.

Really unhappy with the most recent update. They seem to have made the font bigger and added more spacing between different lines so when you do spreads, more than half of the screen is taken up by the legs you've already put on. It's almost impossible to scroll through the options chain once that happens since you can only see 3 or 4 strikes at a time if you're putting on an IC. Very difficult to scroll through the chain and verify your trade is accurate.

These recent updates have been a killer in a bad way. The charts are frustrating to use if you want to see simple data points. Ui refreshes slowly so the button you try to click on moves and why on earth did they add more steps to setup an option strategy trade. Use to be easier with just clicking on the header. Now you have to click the ticker, click on strategy and go from there. Not intuitive. The early versions were so easy I was able to work it with minimal instructions.

The app has matured over the course of years in terms of stability and speed, however certain subtle, but annoying bugs, haven't been fixed. Somehow certain settings don't stick with the app. They get reverted whenever you restart the app. Also, I've noticed it has connectivity issues with the servers in busy days lately. Luckily they have a web version as a fallback option.

Unfortunately, the phone app has quite a few bugs. My capital requirement column does not update and often says $0 even though I have three options contracts open. And other times the quotes on the contracts that I'm holding are incorrect compared to what the options chain displays. This makes it impossible to close a position using a limit order and oftentimes I have to use a market order. Unfortunately, I do not have access to a computer, so I have to use the mobile app despite the bugs.

App constantly has issues loading charts and connecting to current prices. I can't switch between this app and another without having to close and relaunch the app when I return to it. These seem to be new bugs since I didn't have this issue a couple of months ago. UPDATE 5/4/24: Still has some issues at times loading charts but has vastly improved from previous version.

The app has some bugs in it. I read on the website that there is indicators in the top left corner of the charts within the mobile app. I'm not finding them plus when I first enter the app and look at my buying power and net liq, everything is fine, but except when I forget to close the app, i'll turn my screen back on to see lower outrageous numbers even when the market is not running. Then i'll close the app, and go back in, then the numbers are back to normal, most of the time.

Positions won't appear if I open another app and then come back to TW app. This has been a constant problem since January 2022. And yes I tried deleting the app and downloading it again. Phone OS is up to date. I've never used the IOS version but I suspect it's better. I have a 100% unsubstantiated notion that the developers prefer IOS. Please fix this problem in the android version. Samsung s9+.

The app has bugs:When you hit the tabs it doesn't respond or takes you to a different screen! The UX is awful! Too many little tabs and buttons that cannot fit on any mobile device and they are not easily defined. You also get price defaults, so say if you switch back to correct the lot size you miss that the limit price changed in your order!!! There appears to be no way to change graphs from candlestick to line, and to put any range beyond selected defaults.

App freezes at login after last update. This app is getting worse. Lots of "improvements" have actually been loss of functionality. Too many immovable sections. You can't even see all the legs of an iron condor because of the scaling of all the other frames onscreen (can't move, remove in settings). Repeated freezes. Option trees with no prices after minutes of waiting. Fills are getting worse... literally nothing good to say recently.

I take back my previous bad review. The latest update was very helpful. I especially like how you can see your current positions on the options chain. Even so, the app is still a bit clunky in general, and I wish the trade analysis feature was there. A great example would be the Power E*Trade app. The pre-order screen shows exact risk/reward with graphs. Very helpful. Too bad ETtade sucks in general. TastyTrade business model is awesome. Fix these items for 5 stars!!!

The app works well most of the time. I find I need to close/reopen it often, especially when day trading indexes like SPX which pulls down a lot of data and bogs the app down. The streamer will randomly stop. Reload. Alerts sometimes don't fire if the app isn't on screen. Frustrating when day trading 0DTEs. It is progressively getting better, but I wish this app was prioritized as strongly as the desktop platform. The desktop platform is king, nearly flawless. The mobile app, well, it tries.

Used to be decent. "Review & send" button over submit on next page?! This is one of the buggiest apps I've used. They're always adding new features but nothing works right. Sometimes login fails. Sometimes quotes are way off. Rolls show up way off. Closed trades still show up. If you name a personal watch list the same as a built-in one on accident... Good luck lol. Charts only sometimes load. Don't feel like I can trust the numbers in the app which is very disconcerting given it's for trading.

This app is great as long as you don't need to buy or sell options. They love to add new features that sort of almost work before they fix the previous ones that still don't work. Also, at night expect to see a lot more money (unrealized gains) than you actually have, and go ahead and plan for a depressing morning when you realize it was just a bug in the app.... That's been there for a long time and will likely never get fixed. This limits me to 500 characters, so I can't just all the problem

First off, I use the desktop version 100% of the time, but wish the app was better so i could use it while traveling. Works well on my android phone. Not so good on android tablets and some text shows up stretched in landscape orientation. Most of my trades are mulit leg options (ratios,strangles). Wish you could group positions the same as desktop version. Another nice feature would be if everything from the desktop version transferred to mobile. Watch list, position/grouping.

Have used this app for over a year and I always have to restart the app multiple times before it actually loads, which is incredibly frustrating when you want to be quick. I wish the price alerts were more like alarms (or texts) so I could actually catch them instead of a single beep. The charts have no customization. No RSI, no MA's etc... But even worse, the screen refreshes each time you swap to the app and you have to painfully pinch and zoom back into the chart.

The desktop app is great, but this app is too hard to work with after recent updates. I now have to scroll down to change the price of a working order. Before I could do this right on the price line. Adjusting the price of a working order is the most important function, and you buried it at the bottom. Next, I have multiple accounts, and it's impossible to manage trades in multiple accounts at the same time. On the desktop, I can see all trades in all accounts. This used to be a good app.

Mobile app is poorly optimized. Every time I leave the app and open if back up, I get spammed with "Network error: unable to contact server. Please check your internet connection." This pops up and if I try to swipe it away it will pop right back up. This last for about 5 minutes every single time I open the app. I have tried turning off wifi and reinstalling the app. Nothing fixes this issue. I would not recommend this application to anyone who trades on a mobile device.
