good idea in concept, but verification took forever (like a week). regret sending in a selfie (even though they promise they'll delete it), feels like creators are fishing for info to sell. barely any info on people in my area, and app is super buggy and crashes (which makes it seem sketchy as hell). spend less $ on social media promotion and more on software development. no tutorial on how to use the app.

With everything surrounding this app and the data breaches and location tagging of women I'm surprised it's even still available in the app store. Y'all put so many people in danger, so callously... it almost seems ... intentional. Like that was the end goal from the beginning they way yall allowed access to your customers private information. You should probably uninstall this if you haven't already.

like every other review says, the verification process leaves a really weird taste in my mouth... and it says "you'll be in in a few hours" but that was 3 days ago... i'm officially uncomfortable with this app being on my phone and I suggest you steer clear..

It's "for safety," but it's undeniable that there's an algorithm. Meaning, you're not even going to be shown all the men who are within your set age and location parameters. The selfie method is also unreliable in terms of verification of sex.

don't seem to be accepting people anymore. Lots of talk about it online. Thousands of people waiting to be accepted and it just sits for days. Mine has been in the "you've skipped the line you should be accepted in a few hours" for a week now. Not sure if trolls ruined it already, or they just dont acceot people not pretty enough or they just couldn't keep up with demand. But I'm not using my storage space for an app that doesn't accept people anymore

Don't waste your time. I've been pending but skipped waitlist for over a week. On IG, they say to message them if this is the case & nobody responds. Now, this app has my personal information and photo and won't even respond. I get that it blew up but they should have had proper measures in place to be able to handle that. Waste of my time.

App was great... but now I can't get past the cup of tea when i try to log in...nothing will load... I've updated the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache... nothing... I still get notifications but when I click on the notification it won't open... please fix this bug as this app has been extremely helpful to me and so many other women.

App said I didn't look feminine enough, so no thanks. I have a friend who told me their experience with the app. They have a lot of things you gotta do to get in. Aside from the whole selfie thing, they want you to send invites to friends and more. Waitlist takes forever, purchase this, and that. I'd stick to FB groups honestly. It's ironic that you can be anonymous but need to send a selfie that is basically a "hot or not" system.

signed up over 24 hours ago and it just says wait for confirmation. I feel like they're just harvesting data. Will reach out to support to have my data removed without even being able to access the app. you have to submit a selfie so they like use those for something shady idk. feels off says I skipped the line as I invited some friends but nothing happened since. so sketchy.

This App is horrible and they should have had the kinks fixed before launching. I'm still stuck in the hang tight they are still reviewing my application and I'm on a wait list part. I've been waiting a week. I sent them an email regarding deleting all of my information. I do not trust them with my information.

Well I would love to try out and review the app itself, but I've gone through the sign up process three times now and it keeps getting completely stuck at "Hang tight, we're reviewing your request to join Tea". So I can't even use it. I've been "in review" for several days.

Uh-oh, the score went from 5 to 2. I liked it before, but stuff has changed. For starters, there has been a breach. So I guess it's not anonymous after all. Also, the app seems to be glitching or something. It keeps trying to sign me up again. Also, there are too many hostile women on this app. It's turned into a negative place. We should be able to flag mean or immature posters. Needs more work. I deactivated.

Waiting for over a week and still nothing did verification even linked my Facebook and still nothing. This is insane! Told me to invite but couldn't even push the button just still stuck on the wait-list I even emailed the support with no response. This is crazy! update it has now been 2 weeks and I have emailed the support and still nothing. worst app ever wish I could rate 1 star

I wish that there was an easier way to find previous posts you have seen without having to scroll through them all. The page refreshed when I went to verify whether or not the person that I had seen was someone who had matched with me. Other than that, it was a safe space for me to post to warn other women about my physically abusive ex. And there's a lot of good info on people to look out for, or avoid, in my area.

it wouldn't let me push the buttons on the screen it said if I send the app to one friend for them to sign up I could get to the front of the line, two friends was like a month free subscription and 3 friends was a completely free subscription the entire time using the app and no matter how many times I tried to click on the names of the people I wanted to send it to it wouldn't work& then it closed me out of the app completely.

Downloaded app just shy of 24 hours ago, sent the link to 3 friends in order to "skip the line " for verification and access. Still not verified despite their claims for verification "in the next few hours". Definitely NOT impressed so far. Also, buggy af, had to delete at least 3 times to complete sign up. Do better. Update: As of 8/5/25, I am still seeing the screen informing me I have skipped the line. Deleted permanently.

This app is a waste of time. I went through the whole profile setup just to get stuck at the “invite 3 people” step. I invited 9 people and 4 of them even made accounts—but it still kept telling me to invite more. I kept getting notifications saying “almost done” but every time I click it, it sends me right back to the invite screen. Meanwhile, my coworker got in instantly with no issues. Make it make sense. Don’t scam people for downloads and referrals just to leave them stuck. Do better.
