The only thing I HATE about this app is that the blocking thing is not that strict. Even after blocking or deleting message requests, they'll still keep popping up in your messages and block sender doesn't really block their messages. I think tellonym should enhance their blocking quality the way Instagram or fb has it

Unwieldy and so around Bad UI. It won't stop telling me "Complete my Profile" by connecting my contacts even after I x'd out the notification multiple times. Does not let me message or friend people when wanted.

I hate the fact you can't turn off the auto questions from the app, plus they keep bugging you to pay for a subscription. I just want my friends on Instagram to ask me anonymous questions.

I've been using this app since 2020. For how long this app has been around, how many users it has, as well as the fact it has been worldwide for years, they really don't do enough. There are plenty of small, useful QoL improvements that could be made that they refuse to do, such as editing answers. They also refuse to let people make groups that aren't in German. I don't have enough character space to really go into detail about what else is wrong. Anyone who reads this, just be wary.

This app sucks man. I just got it to compliment like 2 artists. It sends you fake questions, notifications lying to you about people seeinf your page. Its exploitative in nature.

Repetitive and weird. I get the same questions over and over, plus notifications of people posting who I don't know and don't follow and have NO interest in... Just annoying. Could be better.

New bug: after answering, it lags, trying to prepare for sharing although I would never want to do that. Old annoyances: - recommends sex related accounts constantly. - keeps asking for Cookie consent every fortnight. I DENIED IT five times now!!! No means no!!!!

I would appreciate if they would stop spamming my inbox with random system messages. It's annoying and I can't find actual messages that has been sent to me because every second message is some random stuff sent by Tellonym. And I know it's Tellonym sending those because my account connected to it has a theme and those messages has nothing to do with it. At least you can turn these off on NGL. Until it's not fixed I can only give it 1 star because it makes it almost unusable. DO BETTER.

Even if you turn off notifications you still get them. It's amazingly annoying. Looking at different profiles is bugged. Most profiles wont even load. Shows the same users constantly. Bot infested. Inappropriate profiles that stay even if reported. Constantly harasses you to spend money.

it's a good app but i really hate how it sends you automated tells and there is no way to turn them off. I find them more and more annoying every day. tellonym please add an option to turn it off!!!

good app but there are some inconsistencies I would definitely change. one of them is where you receive a tell and you reply, but you realise you made a typing error or you misunderstood it; if you could edit your message while keeping the edit history for everyone to see it would allow users to edit their messages without altering what they originally meant. another is that the anwerer is able to know who sent the tell if the sender likes the message, since the like isn't hidden in notification

I love the concept but I've had nothing but issues with it. I've had it for not even a week and everytime I'm responding to a tell it will get slow halfway through. It freezes up and kicks me out twice a day. It's actually caused my phone to restart on its own after freezing up three times. I don't think the bugs were fixed.

App freezes & crashes after entering about 30- 50 characters in the answer field. I have to leave the app to write my answer then copy & paste to get past this issue. Also, I really dislike the cropping when picking a photo. Just leave the photo size as is so I can adjust accordingly in instagram & add the option to be able to crop please! Unable to edit my answer after submitting unless I completely delete it.

As much as I want to give the app a 3 star review, there's too many glaring issues for me that make me unable to confidently give 3 stars. The biggest issue is you cannot register for an account within the app, only allowing you to log in via email or a previously made account. I find it frustrating that I'm unable to sign into a different email once I've logged into another one, it doesn't seem right to essentially lock the app to one email if I have another account. 😕😕

I've been using the app for a while now but it seems now every single time I try to use the mobile app to answer a question it freezes up if I write out more than eight words. It's awful and makes it completely unusable! Worse yet is that the browser version works perfectly fine yet there I can't share my responses on Twitter or Snapchat like I can on the mobile! Fix your damn app or give users full interactive features on the browser.

Cancelling a tell doesn't work. Navigating is hard in the app. Either you see a main feed or you don't. If you try to explore to find friends, the same list of people shows every time with no way to filter. Most profiles look like fake people and cat fishers. Pics aren't even of real people. Lacks genuine interactions and a way to be social and connect with others. Passing curiosity, would enjoy seeing more features and interaction elements, but pretty limited and nonsensical right now.

I've had Tellonym for almost a year now. This app is really fun to use since you're answering questions and then sharing your answers. They can be either public or anonymous. Recently, for the past 2 months, I've been experiencing common issues. When I'm answering tells, half-way through or at least 30 letters above. The app freezes and then crashes. Causing my phone to restart on its own. The updates aren't working either. Nothing gets fixed after updating. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!!

What gets this app in trouble with me is that I've been using it for over a year and we still can't edit answers. So, if autocorrect makes us look dumb because of grammar "fixes," or we just didn't see bad corrections because we were looking at the keyboard characters we were typing, we have to just live with a stupid looking response. Also, there should be a small DM system. Nothing fancy or complex, just a way for people who hit it off to stay in touch without sharing private info.

Edit: I updated it and its worse... it wont even work now. Hi, great app but this has been having a lot of bugs lately, like crashing when I go to click on something and not letting me renew my profile picture... Other than that, you can filter your tells, block certain words being used, and block users regardless if they put in an anonymous tell to you, and select if you only want accounts to send you tells. It needs fixing though.
