Its still working out the bugs. i would gladly give this game 5 stars because it is incredibly fun and entertaining. But it has frozen during several matches and force closed on me, which then gives me an automatic lose because of the disconnect. I know it's still got some work, so I'm a bit more understanding. But until they can fix the game freezes and force closes it's not a 5 star game.

Fun but constantly crashes. Played for awhile and had quite a bit of fun. Definitely a good formula that mixes hearthstone and mtg. However recent updates has made the app unstable. I constantly crash 20 seconds into any match. I've uninstalled the app with no plans to return. There are more games out that are more stable. Also the player base is incredibly small, so don't expect it to have the same longevity as some of the more popular games.

This is a pretty fun game and it allows you to play in several distinct strategic playstyles. The gatcha is not bad, though getting the legendary cards you want can feel a little like a chore. Facing opponents who have powerful legendaries can be ridiculously challenging. However, the game play is fun, interesting, and requires some hard thinking. Art is also very beautiful in the game.

The game's great and one I'd happily invest lots of playtime into, but the game lags and doesn't fully load sometimes on my phone and usually crashes in the middle of the 1st or 2nd battle everytime. I'd love to play it in the future for sure, but for now I have to either wait for an update that gived the options to adjust game quality or to remove animations so that i can actually play it. Or get a new phone oof

I am doing a new and final review, after spending some more time with the game to say the art and animations are very well done. However grand pri is done very bad, u go against people far higher ranked then us, thus giving us crappy rewards. Please rebalance that mode. An optimization is very bad, there is a memory leak, a ram issue, and crashing issues that ruin the gameplay and enjoyment of this game.

The core gameplay is engaging and the art is beautiful but the game is horribly optimized. on a lower-end device, the game will chug to a crawl even just loading a new slide during cutscenes. visual assets during battle will often not load properly, including integral elements like text and the art on cards. there are no options to lower graphics intensiveness in any way at all. extremely disappointing. not worth it unless you have an extremely new, extremely powerful phone.

Meh. That's about the best way to sum this up. The art for the majority of the cards is very nice (what's up with X's design), the premise of it being "real time" is refreshing, but any given match can slow to a crawl once action cards start being played, making it more of a chore to play than a joy. MP could charge a little faster to help some of the flow especially when the high cost cards are only doing slightly more than low cost ones. Will return to Duel Links and hope that this improves

Surprisingly good. I came in expecting a lazily made cash grab, but have actually enjoyed it. Decent variety in the base set, lots of ways to play, with lots of potentiel for growth. Very simple, short matches, intense gameplay. Capcom properties you know and love, in a card game that seems likely to last longer than UFS. Obtaining cards is a slow process, but considering the limited number of cards available in the base game, that's not an issue. Not the best optimization, should run better.

It's a really fun game with a great twist in the traditional card game and a lot of my favorite characters. That being said, since there is no "turns", it means your ping decides which card is played first, bad for people with slower connects. Also, the timer resets at 8pm eastern time and disconnects you from any current matches you are in. Disconnect means loss even if it happens at the end of a match you had won. Fix the stability please.

Super F2P/Single player friendly, been playing for a week and just had my first ranked match at level 33. Match making and loading times are quick, but even in single player it crashes a fair amount. The crashing is rather quick and painless and is only in between screens, but still. Seriously wish it worked with Blue Stacks, would love not having to worry about battery life.

Great game concept and idea. Really buggy and crashes frequently. Would've probably attempted to purchase in-game content, but the unpredictably frequent crashes are holding me back. Don't want to invest with fear of the game crashing during purchase. Other than that, it's a really good game. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of capcom games

Teppen does a great job of letting players use unique strategies and card combinations to reach victory. Unfortunately, it doesn't communicate how the mechanics work very well, and much of the graphics are far too flashy for their own good. Clean and easy to decipher visuals are important in a card game, and Teppen is full of nonsense obscuring the stuff you actually need.

So I'm re-doing my review because I took a break for a while. I started playing on drop day and there were a lot of bugs but the game was great. So I come back after months of not playing and was able to jump right back in and play ranked matches where I left off no problem. Needless to say all bugs are fixed and the game is better than ever. Definitely recommend this game if your looking for a unique card game to play with your favorite Capcom characters.

Overall fantastic card game with mechanics that are very similar to other games, but with a unique twist that comes with the integration of technology with the card game. bit of a grind to get top tier decks, just like with any ccg, but this game, so far, appears to be beautifully well done. Edit : after playing for quite a bit the ceiling for playing semi competitively is abrupt and brutal. If your not playing one of 3 decks you just have no chance at winning. NEEDS A MULLIGAN SYSYEM.

Honest Review: Went into this game not expecting to like it but was pleasantly surprised. Not too hard to acquire cards F2P and there is good diversity in playstyle. I am not alright with some gameplay altering bugs (ie: Cards getting stuck at the end of attack gauge, unable to retaliate. Very frequent game crashes.) Quality of life stuff needs adressing. Going through the collection with the search feature isnt convenient at all. For a timing based game, everything NEEDS to run smoother.

The game is quite fun, and the animations are neat. I do wish cards featured small animations but that's quite a lot of work and the game probably wouldn't be free considering the time and budget that takes, so I'll let it be. That aside, the game is simple but fun, playstyles are very flexible. A solid time-wasting recommend for me.

Game has little to no balacing between the archetypes it offers, making the game feel like "rock, paper, shotgun" often. Certain "heroes" are also better than others by a country mile. Significantly more effort was put into the art of the game than was put into balacing. That said, very unique gameplay, requiring some amount of reaction speed and timing.

This game has some great art, interesting mechanics, and unique gameplay. It's a very fun card game with a very different take on the tired old style. Plus the capcom licensing brings a plethora of great characters to play. In short, it's definitely worth a try...however. I refuse to give this game a better rating until you fix your damn network. I have "lost" several games due to a 9999 error, had several times where the game just kicked me out due to an unknown error. Fix it.

I would like to give this app 5 stars, I really do because its fun and I like the concept. However it constantly crashes or just closes without warning. Not to mention the in-game bugs ( Card Art going black unless you restart the app, which really blows when opening up card packs because you cant see any of the card you received!!) If they worked out the bugs i might be willing to spend money on the game but until then, (sigh) i guess i just have to deal with a flawed product.

for card gamers: Price: high, a bit higher than hearthstone, less than mtga Mechanics: unique. real time mechanics need timing offering cool out of the box thinking. longevity: games been around for 4 years power creep is a thing. 6 sets in a standard mode sets are 3 months apart. there is a good modern/eternal format that gives rewards. Client: mobile is it's intended medium, but there is a pc port through Google play. good graphics and voiced characters and plenty of cosmetics. but pricey.
