Love the board game, but the digital version is a bit lacking so far... When I come back to a local game after a while, the resume button is greyed out... So I can't resume my game and have to start over. I have yet to complete a full local game. UPDATE 12/31/19: resuming local game now works, but experiencing more crashes where the app just disappears and you are back at the phone launcher.

I LOVE this game and it pains me to give them anything less than 5 stars. But the lag and constant games freezing midgame after an hour in is tiring. You essentially are forced to forfeit. Please fix this, I have all the tabletop pieces, have it on steam and now in the app and this app is not fully ready to support the demand. I dont mind the pricepoint, but I do mind the disappointment I feel each time the game does not keep up. Please FIX!

The game keeps logging me out and I've had to log back in probably 4 out of 5 times I've gone back to play. Also when it boots from the server do I need 3 error messages telling me so? Add to that the really long load time (as long as some hefty Xbox titles) and it sucks your battery life. All that and the app gets 1 star. It'd be nice if it was a quick in and out to play your turn. Not sure how anybody can play a game in 45 minutes. UI is decent, it's too bad they did all that for this login b

When oceans are complete, the game allows you to (accidentally) pay for more aquifers. It takes your 18 megacredits. And that's all. No benefit. Same with using heat or paying to increase the temperature when the temperature is already maxed. Seems like an easy programming fix to lock out those mechanics once the element is maxed. Also, the font is absurdly tiny. This isn't a good game to play on the phone because of that.

Great game, the app is horribly glitchy. If you choose not to take plants from a player it just sits there as if there is more to do. If I use a card that allows me to select more cards, after I do do, I can't use the cards I have. The option is just gone. If I do an action the cards return, if I have no actions to make, all I can do is pass. They did resolve my issue with the prelude purchase as I can now access it on my tablet.

Great board game, app still has some bugs. In multiplayer, resuming a game seems to make me repeat my last action in the case of choosing starting cards or choosing cards to draft. It's not clear what the status of a draft is (which players are we waiting for) or how to look at your currently drafted cards while you wait. Also, I couldn't see who was targeted by "take that" actions when resuming. Finally, I'd love to see Prelude at least at some point (other expansions too).

Good game, mostly well implemented. Burns battery life very fast. Occasional bugs, but usually not too bad. Could be better about automatically confirming things for you when there is no choice. Where it falls down is the multiplayer. Need to register for an Asmodi account. Doesn't work with Android password manager, and constantly logs you out. Can't import friends lists from e.g. Steam. At least it supports cross play with PC version of the game.

Super fun! Thanks for an awesome port! Still a little glitchy, but totally playable solo. Biggest gripe atm is the one card that's supposed to convert power to money. Its broke enough that it kinda messes up the game. The AI never seems to buy it, so just avoid it as a player. Still, that's super minor all things considered. Please add the expansions! I'll buy those as well! The game goes fast enough if you set the animation speed to fast. Also plays fine on my dirt cheap phone. Thanks again!

Overall very enjoyable. I play mostly in local mode and haven't experienced many problems. The one online quick game I played my time continued to count down even though it was not my turn which was frustrating. During Solo mode when finished it never registers as completed no way of getting those achievements. But I enjoy very much on local games.

Gameplay is fun and love the fact that I can play with my friends across platforms. Only 2 stars because I've only had this game for a few weeks now and both multi hour games I've had with friends had been deleted due to updates.... I've considered buying the expansions but now having multiple games deleted, it has swayed my decision. Also, notifications on Android don't work which is a huge QOL addition that would make gameplay much easier. I wouldn't need to open the app to see if it's my turn

Plays pretty well overall. However, since I bought the expansions, there's a glitch in solo mode (at least in TR63). At the end of the game, even if you win, you have to forfeit because there's no button to continue or anything like that. You can back out of the game, but it still shows up as an active game under Resume. Not a deal breaker, but pretty annoying.

Sometimes functional. The game works, most of the time. But, there are some bugs that, while rare, instantly lose you whatever game you're playing. It is rare that a game ever goes without one of these. For example, the standard projects; sometimes, they simply cease to function. But, the only way to find out about this is to try to use one of them. It will consume your money, then not let you gain the effect. Heat can be spent even when the temperature is maxed, for some reason.

The board game is great, but this app does not work well for asynchronous play. Critically, notifications don't seem to work at all for me. I have multiple games running, and I have to manually log in each one to see if my opponent has taken their turn. Additionally, if the game ends on my opponent's turn, I cannot see if I won or lost. The result is only available to the person who ended the game. There is no score history available either. These games remain inaccessible after.

Terraforming Mars is a great strategy game that can be played with friends. Sadly this game is littered with bugs. It makes things really sad because TM is a brilliant game. If you fix the bugs, I'll change my score UPDATE 8/2025: it's still buggy. I mean come on. the game is great. the expansions are fun but why is it still buggy?

Just paid for the game and couldn't even get through the tutorial before getting bugs. Game would just stop responding to inputs and prevent you from moving on in the tutorial. Restarted the phone and checked my updates and memory. Tried again and got farther in the tutorial but then same thing happened on different screen. Sent request to support. If they fix it or prove there is a user/device error I'll update review.

Love the game...don't like the app as when Twin Sails took over, I could no longer get notifications for my turn on my phone. A year later, that's still the case. My phone doesn't even show the app is available to edit notification settings. **update 5/27/25** Love Twin Sails time...group finally tried to start another async game, as the previous 4 games were deleted in updates (6+ months ago). 2 days in, the game is gone. What a joke. Twin Sails is terrible...

The execution of this board game in digital form is top notch. I love playing it. But Twin Sails seems to think that they need to update the UI every few months, and it's usually not an improvement. Additionally, every successive update to fix bugs introduces a bunch of new ones. I'm quite certain Twin Sails doesn't actually understand the concept of QA testing. Buyer beware that you're getting a terrific port of a board game with oodles of quality issues.

This was my favorite game for years, but the devs have ruined it for me. I don’t play competitively. People are toxic. I play the tabletop game for fun competition. I play THIS game as a meditative engine building exercise. It was my zen. I choose easy AI to be left alone while I build my engine. But now AI just rushes to the end even though it's losing. spending credits on the last ocean while half the planet is still red. Add in some obnoxious bugs? Zen gone. Game uninstalled. 😔

Every update, new annoying bugs or issues are introduced. The prelude corporations that I paid for haven't been showing up in games for months. When a card can be paid for with multiple resources, the button to spend one overlaps with the button to cycle to next card, making it hard to hit. You can no longer Concede a solo game during the initial setup steps. You now have to go through the whole setup first. It wastes time when you get a bad start or corporation choices you don't like. Why!?

The good: the game is well implemented, jamming a lot of information into a small amount of screen space in a way that is easy to learn. The bad: Lots of bugs. Slow to load. Notifications are unreliable. Edit: Down a star. Notifications literally never work now. Anytime there is an update, any ongoing games you had are unusable. I play private games casually so games take like a week, making this awful. I stopped updating, and then it wouldn't even let me log in.
