The new updates make this much better now, but the tools at the bottom have no option to retract down, so the screen remains almost cripplingly small. However, this is still one of the best apps I've encountered yet. The only thing I would change is that, and the orange default color. It just throws the visuals out of whack a little. Maybe white? I don't know. Overall 4/5 stars

This app is truly amazing! It lets me tell stories, as well as just kill some time. But I just now came across a bug were I sent a message and it left the typing area like usual, but then it didn't show up in the conversation. And I have to retype the message. I found it goes away for a bit when I exit the app and reopen it, but then I encountered a similar bug, where it just won't send. I have the message typed and then I hit the send button and nothing will happen. Please fix this. Thank you!

I think it's a great app, set up is great, features are nice. The only thing I'm missing is the option for a projected video length feature, it would help me with making my videos all roughly the same length rather than all of these different times. It's more of a cosmetic thing I guess. It would still make it easier though. That aside I don't have many issues. I would like the option to rename my stories but that's not a major thing right now.

This app is really fun! I do wish there were more things to do that DIDN'T cost real money, though.. In order to change the color, or put in a background, etc. It costs REAL money.. At least you can change the name and add in a profile picture.. I did have to uninstall it though, because I didn't have enough space and I wanted to get a different app.. Overall, I think this is the BEST texting app and I recommend it 100%

It's a great app. Produces high quality videos and even pays attention to what and how you type, so auto corrects actually happen, making it more realistic, and if you want to make a hesitation message (type then delete and write something else) you can do that too! No option for any sort of pause though, so if you wanted one you'd have to edit it in yourself. My biggest issue is there is no GIF support for the (paid) picture support. If I have to pay to get picture support I'd really like to have access to at least that as it is a huge part of messaging! I have found online that the iOS app has this option, so what gives? Will definitely update this review when it changes.

I like the app! It's very good, my only complaints is there is no way to turn off the sound when you are actually typing before making it into a video format and you cant change the name of the story after you make it, I personally don't like the sounds at all, I know some people do like them so all I suggest is adding an option to turn sound in the app off, like the sound of typing and the sound it makes when you hit the button,not enough characters just needs an option to change story names<3

I love it! I use it for my series on YouTube. It brings so many great stories. So sad that since either have a Android I have to pay for every thing. But theres one problem. Every time I try to change my characters avatar, the picture won't load up. I try once, and it goes to crop. Then it goes back to the edit page. Then if I try a second time, the app crashes! Fix this, cause it's boring without the profile pictures. It just brings more light. Fix please.

Amazing app. Easy to use too. But I heard the static and it does sound a lot like breathing. I'm not sure though. I haven't had a random text pop up either, so I'm sure the 1 star reviews are exaggerating. But this is kinda creepy and makes you wonder... If you could update the ringtone sounds so that there is no static that would be great. Also can you make more stuff free? I get different ringtones being premium, but why colors? Please fix this.

UPDATE Great app would give 5 stars if they add 2 suggestions 1.) Allow you to add picture to text video in edit mode. I've tried several time even after purchasing full version and I'm only able to add/edit gifs and emojis 2.) Your able to adjust what is framed when you add a pic in the thread. Right now if you insert a pic you get what you get and hope it fits the frame. I tried resizing my pics which I find is frustrating and sometimes it still doesn't come out right and I'm missing key content UPDATE: After spending more time with this app its still pretty good however you must know exactly what you want to type and what gifs you want to add. Any delay in doing either or both will be shown in the end result and creates extremely long pauses between the text bubbles when you play the finished product. I strongly recommend that the developer look into allowing the user to be able to adjust the load times between the bubbles or having an option to have the text bubble pop up no matter how long it took to create the context.

Making stories with the fake texts is a lot of fun! However, the texting sounds don't line up in the videos, and it would be nice if the videos were screen-sized instead of those little squares. It also crashes after I've cleared the story a couple of times, so I have to close and reopen the app. App still needs a little work, but it's definitely on its way there.

it's super easy to use and you can make any kind of story you want. I honestly love it but I have been having issue when I go to create the video it will only go to for percent then freeze and switch the characters. I've had it once before but it wont stop and it makes it hard for me to he able to make the story when it doesnt want to generate.

I really love this app and I have been using it for nearly three years now, But I've been having an issue/bug for nearly a year where the page randomly starts loading and nothing happens, even if I try going back. It's happened alot of times already so usually I delete the app and reinstall it. When I reinstall it all of my stories are deleted and not saved, there has been times where only a few of my stories are saved but not all. It happened a few minutes ago too. Pls try top fix this, ty!

Best app yet, had to pay for some things but it's cheaper than the other text app I had. You can even make it look like it's coming from the persons phone like it's happening in real time!! And as for the loading yes it's slow, but you cannot leave any app that's processing a video. Though I wish the "Story Teller" Bundle came with the exchangable files option. 🥲

Great app, fun to use, but it's really annoying that you need to pay to turn off the texting noise. You can't really listen to music while using the app, and(for me) I need to have some type of audio while doing things. Uninstalled until this gets changed. Another thing is that I wish we could choose which color the text bubbles could be, even as non-premium users between blue & purple. My third and final thing is we should be able to see the video before we take forever to export it.

It's a good app- but I can't do a whole lot. I can change names/profile pics, but that's all for the pros. Then you can text stories but can't change the bubble colors or make group chats. You can't turn off the text noise without premium, so I can't listen to music while I do it, which helps me focus. You can edit things pretty specifically tho, which is handy. So a quarter of this you can do free, but the real experience must be paid for. The app is ok, I'm just sure there are better ones.

I would give this a 5 star but few things, I feel like we should have access to colors or just sound at least because you can't listen to music cause of the typing sound and that's just really annoying and for sending pictures I feel like that would be better because you can send photos to actually make a good story and it would be easier that way. But either way I love this app thanks for this 👍

I love this app, I would spend days on end trying to make characters and their back stories as detailed as possible. However ,when I realized I messed up a name. After I went to fix it, I got stuck on this infinite loading screen. I losted weeks worth of story and I can't get it back unless I uninstall the app. I haven't uninstalled it yet out of fear that I'm going to loose all my storyline.

I love the app but it seriously needs improvement. I don't want to pay something to listen to music, send photos, change background, or change the color of the texting bar. I also hate how you can't actually change anything. I love PRO but still, I hate paying! Please change this to a free app! I love it though because it does look real. But still, three stars is my limit.

This TextingStory is awesome! I've made a bunch of stories and it is enjoyable. One problem. I'm supposed to be receiving a Samsung Phone next week because yesterday, the charging port in my phone (the square hole in which you insert your charger) is broken and it can no longer charge. I've got really concerned because all of my data on the app is on there, and I fear that all of those stories won't be saved on the new phone. If anyone could help me save my stories, it would be nice!

It's a pretty good app where you can your own stories. However, there are two things that kinda make me annoyed. One is the colors. Maybe give a couple more colors and/or allow us to change to the person's color with the free colors instead of having to make a new person just for the color. The second thing is that new comment thing. I would rather have an option to have it centered for like dialog. Overall, it's a great app, and I'll continue to use it.
