This game is very addictive and so much fun to play !!! The graphics makes it the best game ever. I started playing this game again after awhile and it is even better playing now. We need a Cave 2 !!!

The graphics are brilliant!! Such a fun game to play and definitely amazing that they have different characters with different stories!! WE NEED MORE GAMES LIKE THIS

I love the games these guys make. This one is great for people who enjoy solving puzzles and macabre humor. Also, Double Fine, do a guy a solid and put all the Costume Quest games on Android lol I think they're on apple, but Halloween is coming and my computer broke, I usually play it every year lol

Nice visuals, themes and narrative. I liked the playful but grim mood. Gameplay can get clunky sometimes, backtracking through the same areas. Puzzles aren't overly challenging.

Fantastic game. It's a platformer with old school point and click type puzzles with great dark humour from the narrator. Also has controller support for the Rishi. I wish there were more games like this.

It would be great game if the controls didn't suck so bad. The characters like to run on their own and jump instead of run. It's frustrating.

This is one of my favourite games on Android. I've played it many times. Unfortunately it seems to become glitchy on Android 11 with occasional graphics issues. Such a shame.

I literally love this game it's so adventurous and fun you can learn about the world and the little characters I can name all the characters I love it i play it over and over again with different characters I dont know why people are saying that the controls are bad they just have to get use to it I love games with the controls like this I love how the narrator is so funny and stuff he tells us what to do and what not to do OH! yeah he is the cave!!🤯😂 I forgot I love everything about (THE CAVE

Used to love this game, but I don't love that after updating my phone it won't play. I didn't even get a super new phone, just a Pixel 3A, and on launch got an error about it being incompatible with my version of Android. Super disappointing.

Great characters, rich storylines and humor. I loved the strategy required to advance through. Reminds me of Monkey Island without all of the action choices. Simple in the sense that an item correlates with one other thing but still challenging enough to scratch your head at times.

Honestly zero qualms with this game, I didn't experience any glitches at all. I originally played this game on the PS3 so I was thrilled to see you could get it on your phone. I actually didn't use the touchscreen functions as I found them to be problematic and generally annoying, however I plugged in my Xbox series s controller into my phone with my double sided phone charger (Google pixel 3a) and I was able to play it now I originally played it on the PS3! Would heavily recommend this!

Everything you want from a double fine game. Good puzzles, funny, interesting concept and gameplay. But Jesus wept, the controls for this as a mobile game are unplayable. It has things you'd expect from a platformer like the need to jump across gaps etc. but for touchscreen you've to do this by making one finger do two different actions simultaneously. It's close to impossible. And if you find a jump frustrating, good news! You get to do it three times!

Fun but very irritating. The game is clever and fun to figure out the puzzles but I am so overly irritated at the programming of this game. Every time I minimize the game and pull it back up, it reloads from the last save point. Why doesn't the game simply continue where I was at? It does this even when pausing the game, minimizing and pulling it back up. The controls are frustrating. Characters run or walk a few steps after a jump making the ferris wheel scene infuriating.

A great game! Fabulous humor, and the individual character levels were really fun. My only complaint is the touchscreen controls aren't the best, particularly with jumping and dropping items. I died a lot due to falling because the characters wouldn't jump and due to exploding because the characters didn't want to drop dynamite. But overall, I highly recommend the game.

Excellent game! Challenging puzzles with great stories and characters. Exactly the sort of dark humor I wanted from a Double Fine game. However, touch screen controls are frustrating at times; it can cause your characters to be uncooperative. Not too disruptive to the game play. You don't have to restart the level every time your character just walks off a ledge instead of jumping. It's just pretty annoying. The Knight character seems to have a tendency to get stuck in ledges.

TL/DR: Great game, terrible controls. First off, this is the kind of game there needs to be more of. It's fun, engaging, humorous and challenging. You can play it multiple times with the different characters. This is game is heads and shoulders above 95% of the dreck out there in this regard. So why only 3 stars? The controls are ABYSMAL! The jump mechanic alone is enough to make you scream. Watching my character impaled for the umpteenth time in a pit of spikes really sucks the fun out. Apparently you can connect a controller... but then why have it mobile. Just play on the XBox... If you have the patience to deal with the control scheme, get it. Otherwise still get it... just on a different platform.
